Important Hydragellos Info
- A Hydragellos Maniacal Core will be awarded (limit one per user) to anyone who reaches 5 million cumulative damage with a single pet by the end of August 30th.
From and (source):
- The 5 million damage is for a single pet, over the length of a week.
- The only prize that is limited is the Core. It is limited to one per user, regardless of how many pets they have that deal 5 million+ damage.
- You can battle with as many pets as you'd like. All of them can get prizes based on the damage they deal.
- The tiers of pets have no affect on the prizes they can get. There's no top prize per tier for this event.
- The Core is the top prize.

I turned in six amulets... ALL shards.
This brings my current total of amulets turned in... to about 40 now with not a single tome.
Have you tried mass turning them in at one time and see if the turn around is better? I am waiting until I get 100 amulets and then turning them all in to see how many tomes I get
I had six hoarded, thinking I might get at least 1 tome from it after so long but it seems it doesn't matter, one at a time or mass amounts he really doesn't want me to reach my goal.... which even halved still seems like I will never make it... x.x
I think last time I turned in around 50 amulets and got 20 something back. This time I'm going to do 100 and see if it's any better but yeah I noticed when I only turned in a handful a day I was lucky if I got one tome.
Battle Quests done for today - just in time to think about doing them over again in a little while. ::-) Made it though The Gate Keeper who was nasty tonight at Level 21.
We did it! 5000 posts! Go us! lol. Mmm smells like fresh worms after a rainstorm!

Battle Quests done for today. Finished Level 23 - Moradon, Mornrise Serpent, and then Cursed Effigy twice. your turn again.
Working to get AP for both Gulp and my new battle pet to 15 so they can enjoy the benefits of Aftershocks. Not sure if I should continue to collect eggs or wait until the last week of the TBT challengers to give 81 (that's read 1 ... 8 from the right) more time to train.

- for what it's worth, I have found that doing things in large numbers seems to up my success rate for lots of things on Subeta (like dancing when looking for duels - anything that's random). Not sure if it's a real thing or just my perception, but I hope hoarding those amulets results in many tomes as a reward for your patience.
Personally, I would gather and use the eggs while you can. Seems like if you don't, then next thing you know, your inventory is choked with eggs because you don't have a pet who can use them.

Yeah -- I'm a stand up junkie. ;)
- that's why I sort of stopped getting them with Tharg and Tos (Gulp has pretty much earned all she can for now) - I already have 23 of the pesky things stuck in my inventory. :-) 81 is brand new so I plan to use all of them on her this time around. Once she gets to T4 I'll have to figure out a new strategy for what to do with any further eggs - maybe it will be time to start a gourmand pet ... or just close my eyes and cringe while I (dare I even say it) ... delete them (sigh).
