Opps, I did a dumb. My weapon defaults are still set to T6 for the throwback challengers! Took a stupid loss to the Maneater.

Back to see if I can get past Ice King at Level 25. With the on/off lag/errors and his high health and big damage hits, I'm not sure this will get done today, but maybe I'll get lucky just once.

- that's so frustrating. I hate when I have the wrong defaults, or forget to heal, or something silly like that. At least it's easily fixed though (unlike my problems with Ice King :-) ).

Oooh - got him down under 3000, best so far.

Haha 142 is enough to beat most things, if not all things, but it's always nice to be able to equip all the scrolls you have and not have to worry about swapping out sets.

The down side to aftershocks is it has a smaller %heal so if your pet doesn't have a health buffer it's better to block the appropriate icons than try to over heal. The minotaur knocker really is no good for him. Definitely blessed trident and the ice king gloves.

The best thing against meatslab is the cronus blade then either ME or natasha if you have either of those. You will want to blast at least one mighty flex and boosting stats with the mecha never hurts. As for this newest challenger, dark/magma are his biggest hitters. Fire/water are next so ME +cronus or either of those +natasha or MW.

Yup, it's always nice to advance a tier. Next month will be interesting, there's a chance all my remaining 7s will be 8s. :D

T8 has some really cool weapons like RoE and CTS -- just for starters! I think it's one of the most fun tiers. It seems at that level you can take on so many more new challengers than at other levels.

It is a fun tier but I lack lower tier weapons so I decided for some time now, that all pets would just bypass fighting challengers til tier 11, that they could beat in the 8-10 tier level.

No it was nice having this challenger. He was tough enough to make the battles interesting but not so hard that I couldn't do it.

How many pets do you have left at lower tiers before they are all T10+ range? I try to keep up battling with all my little ones so I am not completely overwhelmed by all the opponents they have to beat.

14, that are in training anyway. I'm done battling with them for the time being, gonna hold off more battles til they are higher tiered. Gonna focus on my 5 tier 11s, when I get to it. Also, sorry for the weird request but can you post on my vesnali thread so I can make a new post? Gonna announce the 10 random raffle winners now to close things out. XD

Omg I just tried cinthilocks again since I still need the last 3 wins on her. The castle may be the hardest opponent but she is by far the most annoying challenger. I forgot to swap out my baguettes on my weapons to set them up for her so I'm hoping that will help some.

Ah so many pets to train! Major props I still don't know how you manage. I guess it's because I still prioritize my main over all others and am working on custom builds for everyone so I have to pick which stats I boost. Sure thing!

Bad news - didn't defeat Ice King so zero for two at Level 25. Good news - got to Level 25 twice both recently, so two for two at Level 24 - progress is being made. :-) Don't think I ever stood a chance with the Raging Storm Sylph, but had the feeling I might have been able to beat Ice King if I had more time and was willing to spend a lot of sP.

Other good news - Gulp can now officially use Aftershocks (and has been read a few extra books besides) - one goal met.

- yes, the Replica Minotaur Knocker wasn't much use against Ice King. I borrowed it because the knocker combined with the trident was one of the combinations recommended by Mr. Cool. So far I've been really unimpressed with the knocker the couple of times I've tried it. Either I'm missing something, or it's a much better weapon at higher (or lower?) tiers.

I was lucky I had vesnali coins leftover from last year. I won't be so lucky for the survival event.

Interesting recommendation considering the ice king does mostly wind and ice. I don't think earth is even in the top 4 icons dealt, if he even deal earth at all. The knocker does a good deal of damage and has a solid heal and defense for a tier 6 - 9 weapon. The problem is the icon damage is spread over 4 icons so a lot of the damage it does has the potential to be blocked. At T10 you also have the ornamented hook swords. That will be the best earth blocker you can get aside from one of the old god weapons. However, it does cost 450 mil in the MC. The knocker is a cheaper alternative if you don't have 450 mil to spend. The knocker is a great budget weapon for higher tiers but it is an entry level high tier weapon at best.

Cinthilocks is the worst and she only gets more annoying the more you beat her. I'm just trying to beat her before T13 when she becomes an absolute nightmare. Honestly though, I can't see how she can get much worse than she already is xD She has a strong partial freeze protection, a curse that doesn't let you use scrolls for 2 turns that activates pretty regularly, has the potential to freeze you, has the chance to steal from you, and can heal for over 2000 HP in one turn.
