Almost got my cold beat! Just crap in my throat now, but it's not enough to keep me from riding my bicycle. I rode 6 miles before I felt like I had to go home x) Been riding every other day after work this past week, so hopefully I can keep that up and then add in the rower again. I totally fell off the exercise wagon there for a bit, lol.

Other than that, been feeling lazy about getting on my laptop and doing stuff this past week x)

Anyway last few days at work we have been missing a nurse in the morning to help get the clients ready. My poor feet and back.. so busy and we are done late. Tomorrow we are missing again 1 nurse... grrrr.. she called yesterday and said she can't work on sunday as she signed up for the wrong shift (thought it was for Saturday) as she has other plans.  My coworker told her yesterday that as she signed up wrong so she has to work tomorrow and if she can't she has to fix it herself as she made the mistake.  She said ok and would call back today before 3pm to let us know if she is commingled on Sunday or someone else. No call.. I had to call her on the end of my shift at 4pm asking if she is comming. Nope.. she can't find anyone (don't even think she tried) and she is not coming... This makes me so mad.... Now she is not comming tomorrow, I had to call her, we can't find on short notice someone else and yet again we are short on a nurse... some people...  We decided to inform the boss tomorrow ( she is not in there at the weekend but she will see it monday) we where to tired at 4pm... So yet again tomorrow will be busy, long, sore feet and back... no fun ..

That's so irresponsible. She should give a good explanation about this, so that she even will think twice before making such mistakes and making it hard for everyone else. But we can't really force anyone to feel guilty about this stuff. I learnt the hard way. Maybe you can do some stretching/exercises that are quick and can help?

Sorry I've been silent. Hurricane Irma didn't really affect me (minus a power outage for around a day), I've just been not able to get on the comp as much as revs is still hanging out with me.

I don't even know what language I would have learned that young x) Probably Spanish because a lot of people speak that around here and it would be incredibly convenient at times. Maybe I should get Rosetta Stone one day xD

Not much planned today except for some writing and maybe some video games. Definitely going to go on a bike ride later, the weather is way too nice not to ^_^

Hey everyone! Sorry - I've been around just really not wanting to talk much. I STILL have no power (2 freaking weeks now). The inspector came out and looked at the wrong meter and didn't pass it for Heaven's sake. The electrician marked it wrong to begin with and so he just looked at that one and didn't BOTHER to check the address clearly marked. And then of course could not be contacted to get back out before the weekend. This is so ridiculous and obviously none of them care at all that I have no power. Humpf. I am just frazzled and disgusted and PO'd about the whole thing. It's really hot in there and I'm worried about my cats and my fish would have died already if they had not been Plecostomuses. If you don't know, they are freshwater fish that are mostly bottom dwellers and eat algae and stuff like that. They are tough and look prehistoric. One of mine is about 10"-11" long and the other is about 7". I had many other kinds of fish through the years, including some really beautiful saltwater, but these are all I have left now. Here is a pic of one kind. Mine are darker and have chevron markings with the spots.

Oh and I was worried about nothing with renewing my driver's license. I went to the Ft. Worth office and it was great. Big nice bldg with tons of chairs. They don't have lines. You check in at a computer kiosk and get a number with a prefix designating why you are there. Then there is no standing around. A guard tells you to find a seat and it doesn't matter if you can't sit with whoever you are with. No talking on the phone inside the bldg either which I thought was grand. I hate it when people talk really loud. As if anyone wants to hear their conversation. So damn rude. Anyway, it made for a nice environment where people were talking but you could hear the numbers being called and because everyone was sitting down it didn't feel crowded. They have plenty of people working there too so I only waited an hour or so.

Hope everyone sick feels better and any stress gets lighter. :)

Afternoon Everyone! I accidentally slept through my class this morning (woops). Apparently I forgot to set an alarm last night.. I guess I needed the sleep. :D Anywho, not much else going on here. Mom and I do get to go visit her side of the family next weekend, which I'm really looking forward too! It's a little less than a week this time, but it'll still be lots of fun!

- I can't believe they still haven't fixed your electricity. They shouldn't be able to get away with this honestly, especially not since it's been so hot lately.

Today I got good news. Well, partially, at least. Since I've been having these mild, recurring health problems for a while, I got very stressed with this stuff and pissed off by doctors who wouldn't really try and just repeat the same thing, which I knew wasn't going anywhere. ... Then I went to this doctor my DeRose colleague recommended. I told my mom I'm going to call her goddess from now on.

From the sleep exam I took, she said my allergic rhinitis has nothing to do with my bad sleep (there was little to no apnea), so she referred me to a neurologist specialized on sleep disorders. My sleep time was normal, the recommended one, but it was spent mostly on N1 and N2 phases, which are very superficial states. As for the REM sleep, which is normally between 20 and 25% of the sleep time, mine was below 5% (4,5%). So that shows I'm not trying to kid anyone when I say I basically have half the energy other people have of even less than that.

I feel relieved, to some point.

The meetings yesterday were bleh. One was sloppy. The other two were pretty good, but some of the stats I was looking at like "I'm pretty sure that state underreported their numbers." xD

it got the whole week planned and 2 days for party. I asked for vacation as otherwise I had to work. You are just lucky ;-)

well I am getting on my soap box this morning about direct tv. they are in a dispute over money as usual and all of the new season shows have been blocked. so, I will miss everything. and of course if and when it's settled, they pass that cost onto me. I think I pay enough as it is. so, do we switch to dish and of course they will have a renegotiation at some point and I have to go through this again, is it worth it? okay rant over.
