Hey everyone and thanks for the good wishes. No power yet! Growl. And tomorrow have to go to get my drivers license renewed. The state in their infinite wisdom decided to do away with all but a few places to get it done and thus the traffic of people has increased exponentially at the rare remaining ones. My mother had to stand in line for THREE HOURS to get hers. If I'd known that I would have stood in her place for awhile or brought her a lawn chair or something! She is 80. Anything could have happened. Its ridiculous. It took several days for her to get over that. I don't know if I can stand in line that long. Of course she didn't know beforehand how long it would be either. They have got to do something different. And the massive crowds - I have a real problem with crowds. Always have a panic attack at Christmas and I love all of them. Shiver. Not to mention prone to heat exhaustion and could have heat stroke... Anyway not looking forward to this but thankful it will be 12 years before I have to do it again.

I hope your power comes back soon :( I hate when companies just put you on the side with no updates or anything like you don't even matter. Best of luck with your driver's license! Is there a way you can make an appointment or anything? That is stupid that they are closing offices...it's just ruining the ones that are left.

I'm in a foul mood, very stressed. I always get overwhelmed with stuff that require planning, and moving to another apartment does require planning and something more.

When I watch myself I can't help thinking how immature I seem, thinking of just escaping all of this, leaving my duties aside and saying I'm sick or whatever because being overwhelmed doesn't seem an excuse good enough. ADHD, as with other "invisible illnesses", doesn't make up for an excuse.

I'm not feeling very positive right now, but when I get through this, I know how relieved I am going to be.

Well I am down in the dumps. got some bad news today, twice in fact. my oldest grand daughter was in an accident. Thank God she is okay.
then at hubby's kidney doc appointment , his kidney's are worse so in three months we are talking dialysis. just not sure which way we want to go with it.

Thank you nice active fall look yourself. Glad your granddaughter is ok. Accidents are scary. Just had a tire wrecked by fallen rocks in dmy's family and though they were ok my heart stopped for a moment when dmy told me. Hope at least your hubby isn't in too much pain. Big hugs.

Still rainy here and it got cold. We had to turn the heater on at nights. Dad continues improving. I am happy pirate time started. Working on two pet profiles. Got lines in to artists for fateless and nikalo. Alliren just got changed into a chibi of the new pet species.

Congratulations on the win! Though I don't know this csc thing. You don't enjoy rain and thunder? Besides it being uncomfortable in some situations.

And Alliren looks lovely! The color aside, I love the concept of the species, with eyes on their tails. Got my own Yaherra on the first day of it's release, but still not very fond of the colors.

Great to know your daughter is alright. I remember that when I was a kid, on my birthday, dad was coming back from a trip but fell asleep in the car and crashed in a gas station, or next to it. I don't recall. Nothing happened, but you can imagine how frightened people nearby must have been. He didn't have any major injuries, either. I wonder if we could call it luck. Also, I wish it all goes well for your husband.

Tuesday felt crazy, but nice. Got the chance to talk with my senior while we were in our internship (40 hours to go, until november), a really nice, kind person. The kind that doesn't feel heavy at all. Talking with people like this does some good to you. Excited for class tomorrow, despite feeling exhausted. It's my class for the university project that I recently got in, and even began earning a small scholarship amount for it. I'm teaching Japanese to young children, around 6~8 years old. Last week was terrible, but I will make it better this time. I even prepared a game with a plushie to help them remember numbers and colors.

Plan atm is to drive to NJ tomorrow and to stay until about October 9th. Now that depends on the Hurricanes. We will try to keep ready to head home sooner if anything bad-ish turns toward the coast and we can get the plumber to come close up the house sooner. Hopefully that won't happen. It's so much harder to plan when you live 9 hours away plus have no more family, friends or neighbours nearby (or in state really) who can help so we really need to leave for less than the people who live there full time and know better how to deal with moderate flooding etc.

Will likely be playing a bit less over the next couple weeks because I'll be on the old lap top which is pretty slow and mom and I will share the time, but I'll still be around.

I always hated going to the dmv in NJ because no matter when you go the lines are big and you basically have to give up a day to do it. So many cranky people in once place. NJ used to do it by mail which was awesome but that was in the olden days. I suppose once in 12 years isn't too bad though. Wish it was 12 years here in Ohio. But we have a gazillion places to renew your license so the lines have never been super long. I think the longest I've waited is 30 minutes.

Rainy and cool by you, summertime again here. Going to be nearly 90 over the weekend. Will be not quite that hot in NJ though. Glad your dad is continuing to do well!

Good luck with the move! My brain overstresses with things like that so it makes it difficult to focus on the job at hand. Also grats on earning some scholarship funds and good luck with your teaching. Sounds challenging but fun once you get the children interested and games sound like a great way.

Cough cough. I caught a cold a three days ago. Last night we went to the Shakespeare festival and saw a three actor comedy of the hound of the baskerville. It was a great play but it was outdoors and rained for an hour before threefold start the play so it didn't help my cold. Just a sore throat and coughing so it could be much worse. I think I caught it from the toddler across the street. Also, yay pirates!

that sounds great with the kids and mentor. The yaherra with all the eyes on the tail is perfect for a watcher which alli has had in her back story for years I am very pleased.

Safe trip! And yes, that's about what's been happening to me, the overstress thing.

About the class. The ideas were nice, but the kids were too agitated and things seemed to go very wrong. They didn't pay any attention to the colors, then would only make a mess as we tried making the game. But it's a good thing that the origami got done. Just one of the kids didn't do one of the origami, though, and wouldn't even look at me as I called him. Well, that's part of the practice, I guess.

Drive was fine. Was exhausted and we pretty much collapsed after I went and got pizza and got the cable tv and internet working. I did forget my keyboard so I bought the cheapest I could find at walmart today. It's not my lovely ergonomic one so I will be correcting a lot of my typing, but I can't use the keyboard on the laptop so I had to have something. I also forgot how slow the laptop is so no pirate restocking for me. Takes too long for the page to refresh to get anything even if I saw it.

Going to not do anything much over the weekend other than clean and relax inbetween the cleaning. Too hot and crazy crowded here with all the heat - I guess a lot of people figured it feels like summer so they'll treat it like summer. :)
