I actually don't think I was able to find any episodes with the 4th doctor =( I do like how they didn't change the look of the daleks too much. The whisk arm and plunger are great xD I am not a Star Trek fan =x I do love Star Wars and actually prefer the originals. I think George Lucas ruined them when he tried to add CGI and change some of the story line around (ie: how Han talks to CGI Jabba that clearly looks like he doesn't belong). Like, HAN SHOT FIRST (sorry still salty about that one).

Funny story. Apparently it was cancelled, so I went and wandered around outside for an hour and a half, enjoying the gorgeous weather. But I did get to see the play spur-of-the-moment last week, so I didn't miss it. Everything worked out. <3

Star Trek (the original series - in reruns) was my first science fiction television, so of course I am a big fan.

Yes, you've ;mentioned the top two most hated changes to the original version of the first Star Wars trilogy. Pretty much universally disliked. But, to be fair, there was some nice updating as well.

I never started watching Firefly - or most of the other new science fiction series. Star Trek got me long ago when I spent more time watching tv (of course we didn't have computers or video games at home then :-) )
