Yes, that's what makes hydras so hard, you sort of have to cut off all the heads at once or they just grow back twice as many more. And these have armor too! I admit it - I'm old school. My favorite Doctor is, was, and always will be the fourth (and I once got a kiss on the cheek from Tom Baker). What I can't quite decide is who was my favorite companion - Sarah or Romana or K9, (I actually have a stuffed K9 that was a gift).

Good luck! It might take a lot of losses but you could always try the trident + prodigy staff +flayed lord breastplate. That got my T8 5 wins but the breastplate is not very reliable since it has the chance to block for nothing.

I'm using the frostthorn with a parched baguette instead of prodigy, as I don't have the latter. that and the aftershocks scroll -- I'm using soothing current and crystalline blow at the moment in place of it. Not doing terribly. If he doesn't crit me, I'm more or less okay, at least so far. ^.^

I get two or three rounds of freezing -- shriek, intricate helmet, and then perilous whirlpool, and I have a pquill. RB blaster and soma tablets, and I try to use a negating pylonic to start but i keep forgetting to requip them after using 'em. ^.^

Negating pylonics can be expensive. I would hold on to them and save them as a last chance effort when your opponent is down to like 800 or less hp.

OMG...finally got my 5th win on Prak! It took forever ut went through all 3 healers, all 6 Cobalt Eternals, all the Pylonics and 20 Dark Life potions and will be getting OHS today

The troll resets what weapon works against him once someone I gets to 5 wins. It's the same weapon for everyone, it's just once someone beats him 5 times that weapon changes
