I know. That's why I only gave examples of these newer curses that disable parts of your set, not the ones that do unblockable damage.

I would definitely purchase the energized helmet first. It is 100% freeze with two turns of freeze protection, definitely can't go wrong with that. The short swords are ok. I've never used the oracles sword, but I own both malerias and shinwas. Malerias short sword I bought before the ornamented hook swords and minotaur knocker came out came out. It offers a nice earth protection but no heal so I wouldn't recommend buying it. You could buy the shinwa short sword as a cheaper alternative to the blessed trident or unstable syringe, if you don't have either of those, to fight the forj series. It does a lot of water damage. Even if you do have the blessed trident and syringe, you may want to consider getting it anyway as a third weapon in case she steals.

Don't worry about the mecha. You are still a ways off until you want to consider purchasing that bomb.

Just give General Error and Flamagia a go if you bump into them in BQs. I think your pet is strong enough to tackle them ;)

OOOH That's very helpful for me! if the Shinwa Short Sword is a cheaper alternative to the blessed trident then I have no business getting it, as the Trident is part of my set,

The ornamented hook swords are part of my WL, and one of the weapons from the Millionaire I really want! Alongside the Sword of the Seven Seas, so I will need to save a lot of sP!

I've lost twice against GE, so I think I need to think of a good strategy because those two fights were kind of pathetic haha. I haven't fought Flamagia yet... but I think that's probably one of the next challenger attempts for me!

I've just dug up my diary for beating GE. Here's my set (which surprisingly I'm still using now - too lazy to swap out) Weapons Prodigy Staff; Replica Minotaur Knocker; Rapier of Error; UltimaPlus Tag; Intricate Energized Helmet; Reviver of the Lion; Phoenix Quill; Flayed Lord Breastplate

Scrolls: Divine Denizhen; Morosbane; Cobalt Eternal; Sancturia Exodin; Inferno; Perilous Whirlpool x5

Well my scroll set has actually been updated to Aftershocks, Cobalt, Psycho Smasher and Perilous Whirlpool x6 instead but those were the things I used when I first beat him. Here's my stats when I got the first win:

HP (3270) St (1629) Df (1529) Sp (1387)

In your case you can use your full block to replace the Flayed Lord Breastplate instead. Try to freeze him first turn and set up your blessing before turn 3. If you can't get your blessing up then, just heal your health to full then forfeit the battle. It might take a few tries the first time but you'll get fewer forfeits when you battle with him more.

-takes notes- Thank you ! I'll try it soon! :D

Since Sophie won't allow me a 2nd win (just lost 6x in a row), I will try Flamagia now... though I probably will need to get off the computer and get some headache pills afterwards haha

Yeah she's annoying with her curses. Without them I'm sure we can beat her up good without any losses. :D I'm keeping track of my pet's first wins against BQ challengers here. Feel free to take a look if you want an idea of sets and scrolls that I used with my pet. I'm sure 's battling blog has had all of these opponents covered too so my diary might not be necessary at all. If you've got better armory than I did I think you'll have even better chance at winning.

Also your link sent to a broken link page :P .

OMG I'm so sorry, that's because there's a hash in the link so it added the link to the battle group instead :'(. I've fixed it though. I think I've got everything noted down in the Diary tab on my pet's page.

Looks like stopped writing more guides after the Titans series in 2015, but he's got every BQ challenger covered, I think, except for Dean (?).

[edit] Yeah your eyes deserve a rest. They're there to stay so you can beat them up later whenever you feel an itch to give someone a good spanking :P

Thank you ! I had not seen those tabs on the top! I love your pet, and your inspiration for his name! ❤️

Isn't Dean a TBT challenger, though?

I've had to go through the battle threads to find guides for several challengers (mostly to keep as a log for future references or to help out), like Xotl Prince, Dust Bunny, Little Red, maybe a few others? So I've gone through those battles slow as slug recording things myself :P

That's very nice of you to think about keeping a log for future reference, either for you or for other battlers :D I'm thinking about doing it too but so far I've just managed to keep track of a few of them (gosh why are there so many of them when one wants to keep a log? I don't recall there were so many when I was just spamming the weapons and scrolls and hit submit my turn :P).

Dean also features in BQs. He's one of the special bosses for L25, if my memory serves me right.

And thank you for the compliment :P He's always been my favourite :D

You Won! You have defeated Flamagia 1 time!

Well that was hard and only took me 4 defeats before I get my win! haha

it's not really pretty but pretty much visual (works for me at least), but I might try to change some things format-wise. It's basically a spreadsheet, which I believe is available for anyone to view here, if you want to take a look.

It's taken me two weeks. And I'm not done. I wonder if I'll ever be done... so many challengers, so many weapons, so many scrolls... but ONE DAY :P

I really like it. It's really neat and clean, and I love that I can see the drops and weapons and level for all opponents in one place :D Please keep it up and going when you've got some free time :D.

Congrats on your win against Flamagia too. She's a troll with her untimely stealing and freezing but as you grow she'll stand no chance against you :D

Thank you ! I will keep going an impossible challenger or two a day if I can, before filling in those without a guide to use as a reference (this was the reason I came today for help, to try and properly make the guide myself for whatever I will need in the end).

I think I was lucky to not get anything stolen by Flamagia :o

I also cannot wait to see what TBT we'll have next!

Anyway, it was lovely chatting with you, but I'm going to give my eyes (and my laptop) a good rest... I have some lab tests in the morning, so I need to wake up early... better not stay awake too late :P

Hope to talk to you soon ^_^

You are doing very well! If you could beat flamagia, then you can definitely beat general error. The energized helmet will make general error a lot easier. You will definitely have to freeze general error on the first turn as he will 99% of the time freeze you on the first turn. After that, you will want to make sure you are protected against freezing for the entire battle. General error can easily chain freeze even a T12 pet to death if they are not freeze protected so you will want to mod with parched baguettes or blessed armor. He can steal weapons so when I first fought him, I used DGR, unstable syringe, and OHS. OHS and ubstable syringe were the weapons I started using and switched to DGR and unstable syringe for the second half of the battle. OHS is nice because its blessing protects from stealing. I didn't have a rapier of error at the time, but that could be a cheaper alternative to the unstable syringe. I was T11 when I got 10 wins on him. Once I got to T11 I swapped out the unstable syringe for the paintbrush blades. The blessed trident could also work instead of OHS, you will just have to mod with blessed armor for steal protection.

Morning! Oh gosh, I dreamed that the TBT were already out and was planning my strategy against them (some kind of fairies LOL)

Thank you ^_^

My blessed trident has the following mods: Critical Strike Tear Crystal, Parched Baguette Crystal, Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystal x2 Would you recommend removing any of the first two to add more armor? (I know I would lose the mods)

Got GE down to 1200/6666 HP. So close! With the right weapons (need to save up a bit of sP (450m) and the right mods, I will beat him...! :D

Oh and I also wanted to ask if boosting with EXP is a good idea? I've done so in the past, but always keeping my stats even. I've hoarded 665,046 EXP Points.... should I keep going? I basically just use it to get around training level once my stats are capped for training :P

Stat costs go up every 3 tiers and again at T13 -- where they triple. So if you hoard exp, make sure you spend it before the next price increase. ;)

There is no "right" or "wrong" way to spend exp., just more or less efficient ways to spend it, and more or less motivating ways... Do what works for you.

That said, I use my exp as soon as I get it. Most people like to hoard and then splurge. It keeps them motivated and makes them feel like they're making progress. That makes sense. If you need that to stay motivated, then that is what you should do. I'm in the minority.

I like to spend exp as soon as I get it. I leave a few grand in exp for my littles to pay for level boosts so I don't have to train level at the gym, but aside from that I try to spend it ASAP. I want the full use of that exp so that I can take on tougher foes sooner, make tough battles easier, and make bqs go faster. I never can say which stat point will be the one that lets me one-hit that foe I've never KO'd before. So. I play it safe, spend the exp and wonder if today is the day... lol I have never KO'd an imp foe in bqs, but today just may be the day... ;)

As for training evenly, that is the most cost-effective and efficient way to train and I urge people to train that way for as long as they can. Each stat has value and until you hit T13, you always need more of all of them. That said, if there are certain battlers you admire (I know there are a few I worship) you can always take a look at their pets and see what they've done. ;)

I live in MN, and whatever you've heard... It's much worse.
