34 pets w/10 wins? Just the thought of that exhausts me! Congrats on your victories! I'm going back to bed...
Ah I always forget to get my income. I should do that more for the chance of stat for Pacifist.
I genuinely think masquerade needs to be during the summer. I know they don't want a lot of summer holidays but it's like starting September anniversary keelhauliday alegarten morostide fireside luminaire new years survival masquerade vesnali with no breaks almost. Then nothing from like may to September again. Just pluck masquerade up from March and drop it in like July or something.
Let's see if I do any bqs while waiting for work to start.

The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
Well, if I notice that the ping wasn't sent out, I'll be happy to be Kbbob2. XD Don't worry, you deserve a break.
I try to do BQs while on the bus for work.
+1 on your post!

You Won! You have defeated Baenwurath 2 times! You earned 135000 sP for beating Baenwurath! Kilroy___ earned 10762 EXP Points!
That... was not nearly as bad as expected after prior frustrations. I mostly went in with a half-assed attempt, just swapping out a couple of weapons and keeping my standard scroll set. Still had at least one full heal and good block available, and finished up with about half health. I think Kilroy might just be in the right range to 5/10 now if I keep going, and after some of the accomplishments you guys have been nailing I'm going to aim for that over the next couple of days. Also up to 7/10 on the Mutant Scientist so that's a nice bonus.
EDIT: I take it all back. Baenwurath can burn. ****ing castle. /goes off to scream at the wall some more/ EDIT2: You Won! You have defeated Baenwurath 3 times! You earned 121500 sP for beating Baenwurath! Kilroy___ earned 11958 EXP Points!

EDIT4:Tied! You tied with Baenwurath!
I had this bastard down to sub-200 health and he healed back up to over 2k and brought me down from 4k health to nada at the same time I killed him over the next couple of turns. I am excessively infuriated.

Are the current stats of the Panzer Hydra Gauntlet correct? Or are they still waiting to be finished? (Or do they scale and I'm totally missing something) Because currently it seems underwhelming for what you had to do to get it

[edit] Unlocked Strong Pet! Have a strong pet.
Just hit 4k strength :D
I don't have any scrolls as yet, no idea which ones to aim for or how many AP it takes to make one. Any tips, guides or lists by any chance?
Thanks
PS. My battle pet is Katatherick not the one that is active right now.
You can find answers to your questions in The Complete Scroll List thread (FAQ and Where to get scrolls -- Secluded Shrine spoilers). It is listed in the Useful Battle Links sticky thread in the Battle Forum. Long story short, you'll need 20AP (320 intel point) to view and make all the scrolls there, so make sure you visit the Shrine with your most intelligent pet.
Certain scrolls are good for certain opponents. Lower tiered pets can get by with more affordable options. I would recommend the following: Infinite healing scrolls Divine Denizhen (defensive scroll) Terra Focujin (offensive scroll) Soothing Current (heal only) Singed Stuffing (offensive scroll)
The first three are craft-able at the Shrine. My personal favourite is the Divine, but Terra and Soothing Current are not bad. It depends on at which point you find defence + 5% heal (Divine) would be more useful for your survivability in battle than 5-icon attack + 10% heal (Terra).
Chunk-blocking scrolls When you advance to higher levels, there will be opponents that deal a lot of a certain type of icons. Some of the scrolls at the Shrine provide nice block of some certain icon types, such as: Typhoon of Valor (Wind) good against Scary Singer (BQ) Gigan Blow (Earth) good against Recycle Beast & Terrafirma (BQ) Oblivijhen (Magma) good against Meatslab the Resting, perhaps Meatslab Awakened and Forj Erupting (only for the bomb he uses) Perilous Whirlpool (Fire) Arctic Braver (Ice) good against Ice King and Unstable Snow Fairy. Fatal Fire (Magma + Dark) All of them are once per battle. The Perilous Whirlpool is the highlight for its chance to freeze, especially when you cannot yet afford advanced freezing scrolls such as Shriek of Despair or Psycho Smasher.
Then other good blocking scrolls: Cobalt Eternal (Millionaire Centre) Sancturia Exodin (Shrine)
Infinite healing scrolls for higher-tier pets When you move into T10-T11 territory, however, you might want to look out for infinite healing scrolls with a chance to block and deal damage while not taking up lots of your AP. Some of them are: Aftershocks Ocean Currents Skelly Scroll Tasselled Aegis Feather Explosion Maelstrom Mana Surge It's great to own many of these, but you really need only one, so don't stress yourself out over getting all of them.
OPB healing/ bomb scrolls Other once per battle healing scroll which can also be used as bombs: Gift of the Forj Gale Force Morosbane Lucky They're expensive, though, so for lower tiers you can use these bomb scrolls (w/o heal) from the Shrine instead while saving up for an upgrade: Basalt Blast Inferno Heavens Cannon
Just pick the cheaper ones to make (Basalt and Inferno), as you'll replace them eventually imo. Those are the ones worth going after. I'm thinking about Spacial Abyss as an emergency defensive scroll, but I guess it won't get frequent use, but you can always keep it in mind to see if it's worth making later on.
So long story short, for T7-9 and below I'd recommend the following: Divine Denizhen or Terra Focujin (infinite healing) Gigan Blow, Typhoon of Valor, Arctic Braver, Oblivijhen, Fatal Fire, and Perilous Whirlpool, Cobalt Eternal and Sancturia for chunk-blocking of specific icon types. Perilous Whirlpool for freeze chance Basalt Blast and Inferno as bombs. These can use an upgrade at T9 and higher, though.
You can save up for an Aftershocks or Feather Explosion from now. I was admittedly cheap when I was in T6-mid T11 so I used only Divine Denizhen, one Cobalt and one Sancturia, and I own a set of Typhoon, Gigan, Perilous Whirlpool and Arctic Braver since they're cheap to make via the Shrine. They served me well until Chase and Malerias Familiar against whom I needed to upgrade to Aftershocks for a better chance at winning. Other less difficult opponents (Ice King, General Error & Unstable Snow Fairy included) I could tackle with my very basic scroll set.
Battle Quests done for today.
- Wow! Totally amazing. Congratulations to you and Kilroy.
- Congratulations on your impressive wins in the Battle Coliseum.
- only you would find such a thing. As said -
Thank you. I'm still shocked at the wall of text I have produced lol :P Personally I don't think you'll have to worry about upgrading your infinite healing scroll until mid-T11 when you meet with opponents who deal icons that the Aftershocks doesn't block. At that point you're not strong enough to just roll over them so having a range of scrolls to pick from to cater to their biased icons would help a lot (I'm practically talking about myself here haha).
One example is Major Drills. His main icons are earth and physical. I imagine Aftershocks would help a lot for those without a good physical and/or earth block. However his main trouble is his disabling healing, so survivability depends more on defence than anything else. Even with a good physical and earth block, I still had trouble with his stray icons (fire + wind + water), especially for the last 3 wins.
Luckily at that point I won the Triple Threat Scroll from an opponent and that scroll takes care of his stray icons well (fire + wind). Since healing is not enabled against him, I can say that the Triple Threat kept me alive better than the Aftershocks against this specific challenger (plus I favour defence over offence when dealing with non-heal opponents or those that are a little out of my difficulty range). Some may also prefer the Ocean Currents for water-weak opponents such as Forj or Meatslab for example.
Again I'm cheap so I probably won't pay for those scrolls. Perhaps not now. Some of them can be won as loot so I'll wait for them to come back or for my sP stash to recover from my recent splurge XD
