If you have the Void scroll that would be a good one to use on your first or second turn. But I just throw all my scrolls at him OPB scrolls and then I have unlimited scrolls that I just toss to do a little bit more damage/heal. Good luck.

freezing scrolls won't help at all, I went all 10 battles with his anti-freeze blessing proccing the first turn, so I'm guessing that always happens.

That's what I thought. I'll create a set with blockers and healers and a couple of constant attackers.

yeah I think that's your best bet :) cobalts/sancts/fatal fires seem to be really good depending on what attackers you're using. good luck!

Well, got my second battle pet (T9) through the first three Hydras. The last two... nope. Not enough HP or AP. Maybe next year. XD

- Take a freezer for the first turn, but after that he's got a blessing the whole battle. If you are going to boost anything, I'd suggest health. Gale force and perilous whirl pool are good attacking scrolls against the Hydra cus he doesn't block with or water, perilous whirlpool also blocks some fire if you need it. Sacts/Cobalts/fatal fire are also good. Ocean currents for constant heal is good for the water attack.

- Well, I have all of that, so I'll toss them all into a scroll set. Is the weapon he drops any good? I see it's a water block which I could use.

- I haven't used it at all, based on it's listed stats it doesn't seem worth it, but it probably scales or something.

Ok, I just had a battle with the Imp Hydra where he did NOT activate the anti-freeze blessing on the first turn, so chain freezing IS possible, just really rare.

I used 2 cobalt and 2 SE scrolls when he activated the curse. When the curse wasn't active, I used aftershocks.

It is very rare that his blessing doesn't activate on the first turn so I wouldn't bother with freezing scrolls. Your stats are comparable to mine so I don't think you need to boost. I am at 3 wins, I should be able to get to 4. Not sure about win 5 yet.

He crit hit me for over 6k damage lol. I just need a good blast and hope he crit hits with junk or a weapon I can fully block. Crit hits sucks with him because he's speed has to be over 8k by now (unless speed doesn't scale with wins) so he does it to me every 10 turns or so? Sometimes less, sometimes longer.

ok, then I won't sweat it. the first win was easy but took forever, and I assume the difficulty will scale up quickly. I'll see what I can do this weekend when I have lots of time

- Speed no longer scales with wins. He'll have 7500 speed all the way until 10 wins, but that's still a LOT of speed, more than most pets have. Skelly ought to be really good against him, I'm on the fence about cobalts and sancts, I don't used them anymore myself, not for my main pets anyway, that 15 block is just way too low for EH/Imp challengers. Fatal fire and GotF have been my friends against him. I use GotF with Natasha bullets to get extra turns of anti-freeze blessing when my parched blessings drop.

yeah speed doesn't scale thankfully but it's still a huge base speed from him. I always hoped speed would get buffed in some way :x

I did do bqs with Heehaw today and he got past 25 which is better than I expected :x forgot I had a pbow and that pbow was t10, so I modded that and threw it in his default set.

cronos, natasha, mecha, soma, pheonix reviver drakonis STS scrolls: aftershocks, 1 psycho smasher turn 1 cronos/nat/psycho turn 2: mecha/soma/after rest: cronos/nat/after, cronos/heal/after as needed

constant speed boosts to help curb the gap and blocks the most lethal attacks and scoll helps cover the gaps. I'm sure I'd have had more issues before but woulda used the same theory. I NEVER use sancts/exodius, ive never found them to be worth while, theyre too luck based.

Is the cash shop the only way to get the RV?

I have a little over 2600 CSC but I'd rather pay sP because once my CSC is gone, I don't know when I'll afford more.
