Uggh they are way too strong for me. My current set isn't much chop and is only tier 3. I was thinking of working my way to tier 5 and then getting a new, better set. Although I'm not sure I can any more, after looking at the weapons recommended for that tier are just too expensive. So not sure what I'll do as yet but I won't stop training but the battling side might suffer.

Some of the T5 weapons you will use forever -- so they are a good investment. Soma, RB, and RotL come to mind. There are also some T1 weapons like PQ or RV that are also always useable. Focus on making long-term investments for what you need and fill in the rest with cheaper stuff to get you by until the next tier unlocks more weapons that will be worth the cost to you in the long run. You don't need to have the best set at every tier -- especially the lower tiers where you quickly outgrow your need for some weapons. Good luck!

Finally got around to finish up with the last Hydra.

Ended that battle with full health, one healer and gotf to spare :D I swapped out blessed armor for parched baguettes and tested in on the mutant scientist first. Got win 2 on her as well. The extra turn of freeze protection really pays off.

And they say to this day, the knife-wielding tentacle is still flailing madly, with no one brave enough to get close enough to turn it off.

Top tier Panzer Hydra is pretty tough. I don't remember the last non-boss opponent that gave me trouble with critical hits! Got 5 wins, going for 10! Then it's onto the secondaries. I'd love to score some extra copies of those books.

Beating Zephyre requires a strong scroll set more than a strong weapon set. But yes, it is doable for a T9.

I was able to get 10 wins with my T8. He is definitely beatable with a T8/T9. I would even say a T7 could get some wins with the right scrolls and weapons

I would be ecstatic to get to 5 wins just to get the weapon and the mask T-T

- Yeah, I'm a loot whore too (although, my fav from the hydra is the body armour), I usually only get to 5 on event guys, but this guy gives good EXP. GL getting wins! What are you using against him?

What scrolls do you recommend?

I have Gelaspell and a couple of Cobalt Eternals.

hey everybody just got back on anything new happen

I've managed one win against the last hydra with my tier 12 pet. Is it worth boosting to try to get some additional wins? I have the trident, OHS and Natasha as well as soma, helmet, vortex and quill. Strength - 5020 Defense - 2904 Speed - 2904 Health - 5810

Also, I'm assuming unless I can get a chain freeze going right from the start that freezing scrolls won't help a lot.
