I was using:
Blessed Trident of the Banished One Intricate Energized Helmet Natasha Paintbrush Blades Phoenix Quill Amulet of Drakkonis Ornamented Hook Swords Possessed Bow
I did also borrow a Maniacal Essence, but I still couldn't get him down to even 20k health :K

I think if you are designing a weapon to be a mid range tier 11 weapon, if you are making people jump through hoops, it needs to be at least as good as one of the god weapons to make up for the effort, and to make up for the crappy weapon stats you need to put up with until the ritual was complete.
If it was being designed to be a a higher end god weapon, it needs to transform into something much better.

Which Hydra are you looking to fight, and what tier is your pet? You might not need the RV at all. Sorry the board is fast-going the last few days and I can't manage to go back to find your original post. :)
I figure that everything over the single headed one are too much for me right now. What I'm thinking of is working on having a set for when Katatherick hits 2500 skills. This is him right now. Level: 148 Strength: 370 Defense: 367 Health: 355/367 Speed: 350
I was working towards a new pet slot as well. So I'm trying to work out what to spend where. I have almost 80 mil sP on hand and in the till and just over 2600 CSC. I just don't have the ability to get any more CSC for at least a year because I'm working on getting a new computer (building one).
Okay, the answer is you don't need the RV at all. It might be a tad difficult to get 10 wins on the three-headed hydra, but hey if you don't mind a bunch of losses even that might be possible with some patience, luck and strategy.
managed to beat the three-headed 5 times with her T3 at about 400 total stats less than yours, so I think you can definitely do it. My low T5 can make it to win 5 without any potions or scrolls (because I'm cheap so they haven't read any books yet). To help you get 5 wins and more, you might need to resort to boosting potions (Regenerating Pylonic) and throwing potions (the Dark X Potion series). Here's her post and the weapons that she used. None of them are beyond your budget. A day of maxing out all quests should be more than sufficient to buy all the supplies.
If you need any help, feel free to come back here and I'll see if I can be of any further use. Please bear in mind that for opponents at your level, and by at your level I mean you can beat them with some challenge rather than breezing through them with a clean record, be prepared to take on some losses. It's normal and not a sign that you should give up just because a loss means you will get all the losses if you continue. A good sign that you can beat the opponent is that even for a loss you can get the opponent's health down to red. T4s should have more weapons options so if you need any help just let me know.
My set (if you can call it that) is as follows: Armored Groblen Cursed Demon Sword Icy Freezing Rod of Doom KT Ring Shrine of Apollonia Ruffie Healy Bones
I don't have any scrolls yet because I'm not sure how they work, fit in and how many AP they take to make. I also don't understand this thing about modifying (what it means, how it's done and what it's supposed to achieve).
You can try this guide out. It explains the basic of modification (or mod) crystals. As for your set, you're allowed to bring 8 weapons into battle. Make sure you take advantage of that and don't leave any slot empty.
The key to battling boils down to figuring out how your opponents work in terms of their attacks, defence and gimmicks (curses/ blessings/ freezing/ stealing) so that you can develop a strategy for each of them. Of course unless you're strong enough to wipe them out in two or three hits, in which case you mostly don't have to think about weapons and such.
For opponents that you find a little bit difficult, it's always good to pay attention to what icons they deal and what icons they block. If they block any icons at all then how many of them. This will help you to at least avoid using the weapons that they block.
Then it might take one initial loss to figure out other abilities that your opponents have/ don't have. The hydras seem to not allow stealing, which is why stealers such as the KT Ring is useless against them. You can leave them out of your set for these specific opponents. They, however, can be frozen and can be cursed, so it is highly recommendable to have a freezer in your set, or something that can help you curse (deal damage over a few turns that the opponents cannot block).
If you visit the Shrine in Sacred Land, it would show the scrolls available to you to make. You can view your pet AP in the pre-fight page, or simply divide your pet's intel by 16 and rounded the result down to the nearest 1.0. The number then is your pet's AP, and it enables you to equip scrolls whose total sum of AP combined is smaller than or as large as your pet's AP.
You are allowed 2 weapons per turn in battle. Then you can use a throwing potion, which makes for the third weapon, and a scroll, which counts as the fourth weapon. That's how scrolls and throwing potions work.
As for now you can try 's set and strategy. If your pet is T4 you may want to swap the Tarot out for an infinite blocker. I used the for my pets.
[Edit] The Tempered Tassets is dirt cheap if you buy the ingredients and combine them in the Asmodeus Lab. Subetalodge has details on this. You can look up this item there and follow the instruction in the note.
The most important blocks are earth, magma, fire and dark. All of his weapons have earth on them so you definitely want to defend that. Depending on what you blast, fire, magma or dark should be your second block. Personally, I am going with Cronus because it also boosts my pet's stats since I don't have the stats to really beat him consistently.
Edit: super important thing I forgot to mention. You want to blast the raging inferno. He has at least two, if not three. This is the weapon that boosts his strength by 150 so if his crit hits land, they hurt like hell. Blasting two is ideal but if you blast only one, hope that that's the weapon he favors.

You Won! You have defeated Panzer Hydra 4 times! You won a(n) Impossible token to use in the battle shop! You earned 72900 sP for beating Panzer Hydra! Verdugo earned 6377 EXP Points!
Burned a negating pylonic as a precaution in the end but WORTH IT
Goshdammit you must be super proud. Look who posted this XD
Keep the streak up! Gotta throw a party when you get to that 5th win!! :D
That's because I'm a mad woman bwahaha! The first win I got with Natasha and based on that performance I didn't think I could get many more. I literally threw every useful shard and pylonic I had at him and almost lost. I predicted I would have better luck with cronus because of the boost but I didn't realize it would be this solid once I changed up my strategy a bit.
You're doing wonderfully and I admire your persistence! I hope I can be where you are now next year :D
- One more! You can do it!

One way or another I was going to win that mask lol.
Also thank you for your kind words. Hope to be past where I am at now next year as I am still at that phase of can take on the big guys but it takes A LOT of frustration and dedication.
Righteous! Enjoy your spoils!

LMAO, congratulations! I admire your persistence and am very glad to see it paid off :D
