I think the weapons look the same, they just don't do anything? You'll have to ask

So, his side of the field (where his damage/blocking types and amounts are displayed) was totally blank, as though he did nothing that turn. The dialogue box in the center was unchanged, he was still taunting me and such, but my attacks then did damage as long as I used a weapon in conjunction with the brush. He wasn't stunned, it didn't have a duration, nothing like that, but using that particular shield seemed to prevent him from using any items.

Well T5 with nothing but T5 weapon and T5 shield ad 5pm didn't work. (There goes PIx01's 100% win record lol)

Does anybody have a Telenine to use the on? I put it in my armory but it's Telenine only and I'm not changing my pets just for this opponent lol. It's the lowest rarity weapon (Rarity 1) followed by the Black Sai (which I've used to no avail).

So I just got this random idea that the troll might be ticklish after seeing the hikei grooming brush shield, so I tried to look for other weapons or shields that might tickle the troll. I attacked with Chai Tea Leaf Blade and Plain Feather, but neither of them worked :/ So there goes my theory. Btw, I also tried Magical Hikei Glow, also no luck!

I heard the expression "don't feed the troll" So maybe we feed him till he bursts! :D Any food like weapons out there? I was thinking of Banana Katana or even Cupcake Bazooka? Or mock him with a joker staff or shield? Or alike? As I know, trolls hate mockery...

Try using a shield and a blaster at the same time.

got me thinking... what if it's a defense weapon that ables you to attack him, and I don't mean JUST shields. So far I'm on page 14/63 of SubetaLodge's weapons page (lowest to highest rarity) and no defense-only weapons work... yet ;u; I WILL FIND YOUR WEAKNESS, TROLL

Yeah, I'm also not sold that it has to be a shield. I'm not even sold that it's a defensive item. D: I think it's probably tier 1, since this seems to be a boss that everyone is intended to try and figure out? But I'm afraid that the new answer could even be a weapon that negates his defenses. ;n; I've been throwing random tier 1 stuff in my armory as I have time and just playing the trial and error game (which is how I beat him the first time, pure luck). |D I hope you land on the right one!! I've been trying weapons I have each hour of the tier that corresponds to what hour it is. so tier 2 weapons at 2, tier 3 weapons at 3, tier 4 weapons at 4. I think it may be a random item from within that tier each hour. no luck so far.
