I feel like it's entirely possible for the working weapon to be completely random considering it's actually placed behind Prodigy :V If the Troll did have a pattern it could be solved within a few days and render him weaker than Aboxalypse. IDK if his placement on the Battle Coliseum actually does prove his level of difficulty, but right now I'm assuming yes (wasn't Cranky Carrot slotted somewhere around Eclipse? I can't remember lol.)

I'm also starting to think it might also have to do with what kind of weapons you have in your weapons set, if that's at all possible :x

you had two weapons on hand when you beat the troll, right? And I assume both were T1 weapons? Because I've been holding higher tiered weapons in my set in case I knocked out his blocking powers but now I'm starting to wonder if maybe that wasn't such a good idea ^_^'

Being placed behind prodigy is only based on alphabetical order within the impossible difficulty. I don't agree he should be in the impossible difficulty if a t1 untrained pet can beat it.

Oh so it goes by difficulty category then? Well, I can only assume that figuring out that one item that stops his full blocks must be incredibly difficult then x.x

If it weren't for the items actually he's supposed to drop showing up I'd say he was unbeatable.

Whilst I'm sure it's all just a prank and there's a ridiculous solution to the whole thing, but.. I don't know, maybe throw a baby doll at it? Trolls like babies, right?

Or golden thread made from straw... or figure out it's name and yell it at it? Megaphone weapons are a thing right? Trolling a Troll by yelling doesn't sound like a sound argument, but maybe the point is to make it "rage quit" I guess? Frustrate the troll, which I think is coded to be impossible but who knows? There's either gotta be a weapon to beat it, OR it's unbeatable and we're wasting our time. But we won't know until they tell us.

Yeah, I was using a tier 1 pet, so all of the items I had were tier 1. However, it was only for my first victory that I had only two items in my set; I had varying amounts for the other four.

Clearly the impossible rating comes from the fact that it's nearly impossible to figure out how to beat him, and not so much to do with pet tiers that are able to beat him.

Maybe so, but from how it's gone today it doesn't seem like it will be very simple. I agree that it's probably not completely random because that would be ridiculous, but there's likely something else to it that will make it difficult even if we do figure out a pattern or something.

Maybe it's not time-dependent, but just one item doing it at a time? And then when someone defeats the Troll, it changes to something else until the fifth defeat. It would stop waves of battlers from being able to pile on at once, and would limit battle tokens and so forth to the truly tenacious. It might not even be tier 1 weapons or shields or whatever at that point, but rather anything up to a particular range.

Fighting the troll is lame because there is NO way to beat him sigh

It certainly seems to be an opponent geared towards people with lots of time and patience on their hands, which would be required for the other sort of troll. :p Also the kind of thing many would consider not worth their time, and perhaps rightly so.

I've tried so many weapons at this point.. Different hours, tiers, pets, restockables from WW 1-99. I think I need to take a break. Subeta has never upset me, until now. Hahaha. ;)

Sorry if this has been suggested before but could it be weapons with a pet species in the name? A different species each hour? Maybe in Alphabetical order? I just tried Mahar and Anyu weapons. I'll go test it out while I've got some time.
