Maybe we should make a ping group for this.
It's tricky, we need to trust each other and hope that someone will not TROLL us..
- before buying a whole pile of weapons and going through them. It might be worth it to have a bunch of people all go in with the same single weapon to see if it's something like what I suggested above (the last weapon used by someone else). If enough users all tried this together, it should become clear quickly. If that doesn't work - then going through all the Tier 1/2 weapons is still possible.
I'm down for trying this! I have amber eye blade at the top of my armory right now if someone wants to test this.
If this doesn't work then we can make a new topic for the ping group. And have the ping group on approval to join basis after the person claims a page.

just used it but it broke for remainder of battle. I thought it was infinite use? [edit] tried again, it seems to be once per battle despite being listed as infinite use...
mine lasted a few rounds but didn't do anything to the Troll.
Yeah tried again, it didn't break now but no effect.

alright, well we can go for dividing it up by pages. I'm happy to join the ping group and try!
- okay - just dug an Amber Eye Blade out of my vault and put it in my default weapon set. I think we need several more users to be sure that it is actually the last weapon used against the troll for one of us. With everyone testing weapon lists just two of us won't be sure of getting in right after each other.
By the way, I just noticed that quote from Purge - "The angrier you get, the more the troll wins ." That would fit with this idea since the more people randomly test large weapon lists, the less likely it is that two will use the same weapon right after each other. Hmmmm ...
I'm also willing to join the ping group and help test other weapons.
I'll create a new topic with all the pages. So we can assign to each user, if someone else wants to make a ping group.

I'm making a ping group (# Trolling) (just take the space out) now so that will be set aside for if we're doing the page by page idea later. I'm a bit busy today and tomorrow so I'll need a few people willing to admin it alongside me and someone else to control the master list post/topic if/when we make it. [Edit] great! You can include the ping group on the main post? People will claim pages there, then we'll have a ping group forum for posting when an item works?
I'll be working off and on but I'm happy to help organize whenever I can.

If it matters, I may not be here much of Fri/Sat but otherwise should be able to help.
I'm thinking we should also pick a nonbreakable weapon for our multi-user try. We'll have a better chance of following each other if the weapon doesn't keep disappearing on those of us trying to hit with it :-).
For now I guess we'll try your idea with the amber eye blade. If we've decided that it doesn't work then once has the new topic running we'll allow people to join after they're claimed a page and pinged on of the group admins (we'll include a list of admins on the master post?). And then if someone hits a winning item, they post in the special group only forum so that for now while we're testing the idea only people participating have a chance to win, otherwise we might get spoilers who don't do anything until a winning item is posted?
Yeah infinite use weapons would be best. Is there anyway to figure out if a weapon is breakable?
- how about changing to a nonbreakable weapon? That should give us a better chance.
