Last October, things started happening all at once. Cute, heartwarming things. I found star sticky notes all over my car with inspirational messages. The next day it was decorated with window paint Jack-O-Lanterns and the words "You are awesome". I found a bunch of smiley face mints scattered inside my bag. It turns out, my friends had all conspired to try to make my week better. It was the best thing ever.

My Christmas story pretty much includes Subeta. I've been sitting here, trying to think of a heartwarming story. I am drawing a complete blank, sadly. It makes me wonder if I've blocked out a bunch of things... from a not so happy past. I do remember, after my husband walked out on our family, I had a very hard time financially. With little money for Christmas, I always gave my daughters HUGE Christmases on Subeta. It was all I had to give. Luckily for me, they were thrilled, and never seemed to mind not having 'real' gifts. ❤

The camper had a very small oven.So my mom had tons of fun cooking for 5 people. We did a chicken for most years.One year my mom was so excited, she had got us a duck for Christmas.I have no idea were she got it. She cooked that duck with all the trimmings.And with great pride gave us that duck on Christmas. No one liked it. lol She was so disappointed. She liked it and hoped we could do something other then chicken for Christmas. My poor mom. Next Christmas we went back to chicken.lol

I hope this counts as heartwarming c: I'm really excited for Christmas because I only see my family a couple times per year. I live on pretty much the other end of the country so it's not like I can just get there easily. Two years ago my mom got a new cat and he's one of the cutest little furballs I've ever seen! I like him a lot and he totally loves me, too! Because I'm not there often I'm always allowed to feed him a lot of the things he really likes and I play with him for hours so he has gotten very attached to me in the short time we have spent together. When I'm back where I live my mom tells me stories about him how we walks through the house looking a bit lost or constantly stares at the door for a week afterwards hoping I'd come back. I'm really looking forward to having fun with him again ?
