My favorite memory is pretty simple, but my first ever Luminaire on site was so magical. It still is every year, I really enjoy it, but that first year just hit different. Decorating my tree, giving presents, opening presents... the whole thing.

I think my fondest memories are both realizing how many pet options there are on Subeta (still having trouble choosing my newest), and realizing some people really are just so generous that they'll give out gifts for the sake of it! I thought that kind of generosity died over a decade ago, and I love seeing it here. If I was able to play more, not just stop in for a few minutes, I'd do some of that gift-giving, too.

I like the layout and useability of the original site, and most of the Kumos variants are making it harder for me to do what I want to be able to do on the site. Like, if a quest item comes up for clothing that I'm sure I don't have, I want to be able to see what it looks like and search for it without losing my quest. On the 'legacy' site, all I have to do is open the link in a new tab to search however I want while the quest is still up, but 'Kumos' doesn't allow things like that. So, I'd really like to see the old functions stay, even if you all insist you need to 'update' a site that already worked just fine, with only rare bugs.

On a side note, I'd really like it if these kinds of threads/posts could be a way to earn almost unachievable points for things like doing the Crypt (even in all the years I've been on here, I haven't gotten even 1 point) or to get referral points--I really don't have anyone besides my brother to refer because no one else I know would be interested.

I also think about NPC Amy's death from time to time, the comic was creepy lol. Also when I was a kid, I had these neighbours I was friends with who used to go on Subeta too and we would try to recreate it in real life, like "buying/selling" plushies and we had a booklet with drawings of the pet species etc. :)

I would love to see the return of team events like EPICon and the wars. I wasn't really around when they ended, I would join a team then not really participate haha but I totally would now! I just don't know if they're hard to do or it's just not a priority (which I get). Would also love to see Item/Reading Drives back.

My favorite memories on Subeta were doing the reading drive and the plots. I loved doing plots so much. It just felt like everyone was super into it. It felt like a good moment of community.

A wish would be another plot, but that may be way beyond what is achievable so maybe some kind of new reading drive. I had a lot of fun with that. And if all those wishes are too big, a couple of bookish themed new items like things you could get in the reading drive prize shop. :)

one of my favorite memories would def be my first survival (2011)- refreshing over and over again in shadowglen with my fingers crossed, and getting freckle fever which i kept for years! and masque plots!

I want I'd like the Feral Accessory Trunk to come back to the CS, or a re-release of some of the old Delish items if they're not bound to a no re-release clause. I could buy the parts that I want off shop search but most of them are 50mil+ Maybe a new plot as well?

I started with my best friend in 2006 and I remember when the wardrobe started and we had a very limited amount of features and items and than it grew and I love how the system evolved and the CW system was added. We stayed awake the night when a specific CW released and refreshed the site to claime a spot. And the adrenaline rush hit when we were able to enter the 10 or 20 slot at 2 am our time.

I still love to think back to the very beginning.

I loved the Saheric plot with riddles and puzzles and lore. It would be awesome to have something like this again.

I have loved a lot of the plots! One of my favourites was the music festival one. We joined up with other members to make bands to compete in a battle of the bands. I think my group's band did pretty well in the end! :)

My favorite Subeta memory was the first masquerade. I was still pretty shy and didn't talk to a lot of people but one of my friends started role playing on the dance with the characters board and before we knew it we had a whole group of dancers we moved to another board and eventually we formed a RP group! It was also so much fun doing the plot with one another and really focusing on character development! I'm still friends with most of those people!

Something I'd Love to See

I would love to see a candy or cotton candy style pet, sort of like how Vannelope Von Shweets hair clips look. Big fluffy swirls of different colours of candy floss and then sprinkles and candy features!

As far as items, please re-release edward and the ultimate remote! Haha, My gourmand demands them!

Member For: 19 years, 4 months, 2 weeks, 6 days Wow, it's been a minute! Some of my favorite memories come from the days of terrible internet service, when there weren't so many items and you would manage to RS one that you really needed- or- one that was really new and worth a lot so you could sell it to buy something you really needed. These days I have the great internet speeds I dreamed of, but not nearly as much time to keep up with the site :(

Things I'd like to see/wish for? A complete plushie collection- oh wait, you mean things ON the site, not just my account lol... I too would like to see plots return, at least a few times a year.

The first time i saw my art i made onsite. It is wonderful experience to create art and to be able to wear it or see others wear what i have created. I found friends who love custom wearables from those who create art themselves to those who have fantastic ideas that commission artists. I have loved everyone whom i have worked with in the past. Lot of my good memories center around creating artwork.

some fun plots or mini plots between holidays. maybe restock war or reading drive. Another thing id love to see is new achievements.

The first events were amazing. The first Survival was fantastic and the build up of everything was so fun just learning how it worked and just what was going on.

A Kumos tweak, I dislike the removal of notifications (especially during events) and how it's just one at a time. I really like the old Subeta sidebar a lot more in the grouping of events and being able to remove those easily and find what I need.

I would love more events or something that would get me to come back more solidly but not like Melody's Cottage where I have to come back every single day since I mostly go on while I'm at work and don't have a home computer anymore (literal opposite of 17 years during high school hahaha).

My favorite subeta memory is of the Faded Memories plot event. I had only been on the site a few months at the time and that was the first plot event I had the chance to experience. It was a ton of fun seeing the story unfold and the minigames introduced with it were really solid too.

I miss the palette-based search option in the wardrobe and I'd like to see it come back. it'd be especially nice for sorting through CWs, since there's quite a few color palettes that are widely used among creators but not really any standardized nomenclature for them. If not that, I'd really love to see Experiment get promoted to a full pet. It's super cute and I've always wished this site had more marine pets

One of my besties has played over the years with me. We were both a little away from the game many years ago and we ended up spending the night before her wedding playing all night. It was a lot fun.

I loved all the plots/Events that used to be here - Haunted House, Epicon, Battle of the Bands and all the rest.

I enjoyed the plots, but I can see how they would have been a ton of work. Maybe some new trading cards as there haven't been any for years? A feature on Minion Zoo where you can see which ones you are still missing? That test skin to become available? (Or perhaps it will when users have got all the other skins?) (There was something else and I'll remember what it was as soon as I press share!)

This isn't a memory, but just to say that one thing I really enjoy about Subeta is that it isn't impossible to complete collections. Sometimes it might feel like it because the item isn't available on site at the moment, but I know it'll always turn up again eventually even if it takes years. (And yes, I'm one of the people who would really like the Traditional Shengui Guo Beanbag to reappear (and also Encased Tomb Beanbag as that is also almost extinct!) One thing that always annoyed me about a different pet site was that you stood next to no chance of getting a complete set if you were a stamp collector.

For me, it's been 17 years. My favorite memories are all around events run by users. Am I hallucinating that they were called cults before they were groups? is that real? lmao. But user groups. Once, the group I was in, ran an event concurrent with Survival that was about a revolution and boy howdy it was fun. It resulted in a CW that I will love forever:

I think for something I'd love to see is differently interactive events. I'm thinking old epicon, the Island Wars, the Blake Steel Saherimos one? Those were amazing times. Probably not actively achievable, but god they were a blast.
