I remember back in my early years here taking part in avatar and writing contests on the forums, it was a great way to build creativity for me :) Same with thinking of different themes for pets (even if it never went further than my head)!

I can't say I have many "explicit moments on Subeta that are wonderful" memores. Survival and NVLB is for sure. I love the group of people I became friends with through it. God, incredible, sweet humans! But I think the most important memory is having Subeta be available and a live, active website during some of my biggest life crisises--like when my dad died years ago or when I got really, irrevocably sick this year. I could lean into this place and engage in routine (quests, shopping, wardrobe), and it was easy and it felt good and it wasn't a responsibility. It still is all of those things. I love Subeta so much for just being here for me as a quiet friend.

Not gonna lie: the plots in our holidays. Not every holiday needs a plot every year, but goodness those are FUN!!!!

I've been on this site for sooo long.. I believe over 15 years? I used to run a NaNoWriMo thread for a few years (National Novel Writing Month), and finding a fun community to push each other towards the goal of writing a novel while also playing on my favorite pet site in the world made me feel surrounded by love. I wish I had the time to do it again! You don't know you are in the good ol days until they're gone.

Events would be so much fun, though I know they can be a lot to organize. Even something like a quest-athon could be great. Some ease of life suggestions like putting the year in the description of prizes for things like L'Amour and zombies so we don't have to wade through all the years to find one item. Also would absolutely love more ways to get items that take time to do every day besides quests.

i'm relatively new (joined in 2019) but i think i've played subeta at least once every year since. i usually try to at least make morostide. i can never decide if my favorite part is collecting the pets i want or dressing up my HA lol. i love "collecting" games and subeta is great for that, i love coming back and seeing what you guys add every year

IDK! i think the site is pretty great as is. maybe another way to obtain holiday items / old plot items and reduce fomo, most of the site's users are adults ATP and aren't necessarily able to log onto subeta every day. i think more subetapedia articles / recaps of old plots would also be nice

My favorite subeta memory is all the real life stuff we got to make for contests on here! I still have pictures of the rainbow cake I made and the Luminaire Harvester tree topper I made. Its so fun to interact with this site in all the ways weve done it over the years like the old videos Keith used to do. The last one I remember he had pizza boxes on the bed and we were all talking about how hard it was to draw hands and just pizza for hands 😂

I hope eventually the color sorter is back in wardrobe but I know thats like low on a set of priorities right now. That or more Faux recolors of more wigs and other stuff.

I always remember the story events. The ones site thrown and the yearly ones done by other players. I met so many great people on this site I wouldn't have otherwise. And while we've lost touch and I miss them, I remember the times we had. That is something Subeta give in loads is friends and a sense of community.

I would like to see more storylines again. Even if its bringing back some. The summer band even while it was unclear how to participate was fun. the spooky basement and the crypts.

A couple of people have mentioned it already, but room customization / a house for your pets is such a cute idea! I think it'd be nice to have something to use all of the random furniture on the site with.

The cruise that revealed the new map and art. I also loved the story events especially the survival one, and the morostide one. The love story was adorable.

I remember joining Subeta and being so impressed that Keith had created such a wonderful site at a young age. There was even a vlog(?) if I remember correctly. This site is so much nicer than an other pet site I have played on. Thank you for all the fun.

There's a lot. I've enjoyed a lot of events, including the first ever Pandemic. Every year I've looked forward to new Melody items each day in December, as well as leaving presents under people's trees.
The main one, though is that I've made friends on Subeta, including one of my best friends that I talk to all the time. :) We met through a gaming group on here and I still stay connected with some of them years later.

Better search for sure. If I look up an item, I'd like to be able to see exactly where it is. For example, if something is in the New Years' Shop, I'd like for the search to show that it's in the New Years' Shop 2020 and for the link to lead directly to the 2020 shop. Similarly, if I search for something that's in a collection it would be nice to see that reflected on the item search page.

The rise of the No Tree Left Behind thread (read also: TheRoamingDruid realizes he's not alone FINALLY, lol):
I don't know when it started.
I know back in 2016 or so, when I'd returned after a LONG hiatus, I was playing through the Luminaire event, and while searching wishlists, I came across trees that were empty. It made me sad, and I started dropping presents under empty trees. It grew the next year so that I had a set amount I would drop throughout the month, trying to make sure I could put at least one present under each tree.
I've done this each time I've taken a break and come back to Subeta when I stay through Luminaire.
Then, in 2022, I got a friend to join--and she showed me the No Tree Left Behind thread.
There were ENTIRE GROUPS of Subetans doing what I'd been doing--and they were coordinating and sharing empty trees with the goal of making sure everyone's tree was full come Luminaire morning. I spent SO MUCH time sharing the trees I'd find on my gift-giving trips, and trying to fill empty ones posted to the thread by others (sometimes it's REALLY hard to keep up!). Page after page of trees slowly filling, all of us working to let others know that WE SEE THEM.
Each year when I'm able to find it, I tear up a bit.
I spent a lot of my time alone (more recently, with a lot of cats at least, lol), and the world is often too much.
But then I come back to Subeta and am reminded that there are AMAZINGLY KIND people out there. I just gotta know where to look for them. <3

Make Peppermint a color! Please?? The plushies are ADORABLE--I NEED this! XD I've always loved watching how the pet colors and art evolve over the years, and it seems like each new one is more imaginative than the last. (Okay, I'm not going to lie, the first time I made a Nostalgic pet, I felt HORRIBLE because...implications...lol--but it's okay, because it's a Harvester, right??? ^-^' It and the Steamwork pets are still REALLY need concepts.)
Thank you so much for trying to keep this community going for so long. This is one of my longest-running accounts, and I plan to keep ahold of it as long as I can. <3

I have many good memories here, but one of my favorites was meeting my bff. We met at a forum here while doing rpg for a Harry Potter group. Been many years and even when we live far apart we keep in contact always and play here as well.

As for what I would love to see back…plots! I loved those plots where you had to solve things in order to move forward in the event.

I am a pretty quiet and introverted person, so way back when I joined I was offered welcome and spoiled with kindness from so many wonderful people, most of which are still around. Even as recently as this year, random people give me random gifts, often anonymously, and just show a lot of love to the community, which it is a delight to pay forward. So I suppose my favorite memory is just how welcoming and warm this site's community is. It really is unique and special.
As for personal memories: The first time I got a CW on-site . Winning a user-run writing contest during Lumi 2022. Every single survival event. There are too many great memories to list.

Also just the stability, Subeta has been there for me for nearly 2 decades which is crazy to me. This site really is something near and dear to my heart.

A fun memory.... Being able to have more "adult" discussions (As a teenager -- HA!) than on other websites at the time, especially pet and anime-focused forums. I still chat with some of those friends today, but I'm the only one left who still plays. ^^;

Something You'd Love to See: ...I don't know how plausible it would be to do, BUT, I'd honestly love for more zapper pets to either become recognized as Legitimate Pet Species (the way Experiment did becoming the Yaherra), or for zapper pets to in general have the ability to have more colors (can y'all imagine how COOL some of them would look as say, RiftBorn?? huh?? can ya??)
