You probably got them confused with cockatoos. Hubby did too at first and I had to remind him of the key differences: price and size.

If I had the money and room I would LOOOVE an African Gray parrot. They're grey with a red tail. Also supposed to be friendly.

Cockatiels come in a variety of colors. Some of them are white.

- Oh, if I went I'd have to go in a wheelchair as there is no way I could walk that far or even stand much at all. Not crazy about the crowds so maybe I'll just watch a concert on You-Tube or something. XD I'm too used to the comfort of my home. XD :D

Not reading everything you guys can give me the cliff notes lol!

So back home since thursday evening. Had a blast, went in everything i wanted (twice or more) like big thunder mountin, pirates, haunted mansion. Did not do the scary rides as the waithing line times where nuts and i am a scasry cat lol Had a meeting with Mickey (2x), Woody, Stitch, Black Panter, The Wasp & Darth vader, he tried to win me over and work for him i declined as i am happy with my job lol! He is one scary dude! Stitch is a nutter in his elvis costume, i was wearing a blue dress wich he loved and almost ran me over while hugging me lol.

On friday i had a (vegan) high tea at a tea garden, hidden in a nuture spot. We had to hike 30 minutes to get there but it was so beautiful!!!

Yesterday my 10 year younger nephew got married, i was invited to the evening party. Home at 1am, so tired! Glad i had the sunday off.

Tomorrow (monday) i am going to my friend in Rotterdam and together we are going to the efteling, dutch fairy tale theme park.

So other then tha, busy vacation... Back to work saturday but not thinking of that just now.. I am in denial.

Oh and in between all of that i picked up my new glasses saturday. Seems i needed new ones as i could not read eveything correct anymore.. sheesh... more denail.. Anyway they look good and me and i can see!!! lol Still need to adjust to them

- Cliff Notes: Kysniers birds went crazy and Chrysariel found out my deep dark secret that I have never been to a concert. That's about it that happened in your absense. :) I'm glad you had a blast! It's ok you didn't go on ths cary rides, just so you had fun! Did you buy everything Minnie that they had? A vegan High Tea? That sounds yummy and relaxing. Well, except for the hike. New glasses are good but they always gave me a headache for the first few days I had them. Oh, another amusement park?! Since it's called "Fairy Tale" then is it about the major Fairy Tales like Cinderella and Red Riding Hood? :D

It can be soothing. I'm currently slowly getting through cleaning the cages (one per day). Part of the process is allowing them to dry out in the sun and so I keep the birds inside their cages.

Dany was running around her cage as if she was going to die if she wasn't let out right now. Then Freyja was screaming at the top of her lungs in protest.

Sounds like fun! No hiking for me tho. What kind of job for Darth Vader? Whoo... :) I just got new glasses too. Finally can see well. again. lol

Well, after 6 months waiting I finally got to see the Rheumatologist. She has no answer to my problem yet. She wants to do a lot of blood work and x-rays before she even hedges a guess. I don't blame her one bit, I have a large and confusing medical history and I wouldn't just try to guess without looking into everything first. I see her again on the 22 of August. Hopefully, then she will have an idea of what is going on. I'm very happy that we've finally got that ball rolling. :D

- Why do you dry the cage out in the sun? Because of the sun's antibacterial properties? :D

Not answering for , but I used to do that too. Whatever kind of cages or tanks I was cleaning, if I could move it without serious effort I did. The sun dries whatever it is completely. All those little nooks and crannies you don't know is the slightest bit wet and could mold, won't. Somehow there is a fresh smell too. Bonus! lol

Because the sun dries the cage in a little over an hour. Which saves me the effort of drying off the cages which can be brutal.

I do minor clean ups before I put the birds to bed but every now and again it's good to do a deep clean.

- If she can figure out all the other stuff that's been bugging me and actually fix it I'll be so happy! It's like, I had the stroke and everything broke. I've had such a hard time getting simple diagnosis that I've given up on half of the stuff and just live with it. Well, that's not good enough for her. She wants to figure it all out so I'm all for it. :D ❤

Yes exactly. <3 My daughter told me (when she was still speaking to me) that a stroke is like a chandelier falling and shattering with pieces going everywhere. There's so much affected, or can be, they always go for the big obvious stuff first. They have to treat what they see as best they can. Then its hide & seek next, and so many things are interconnected that they can mask or mimic other things. Then finally its hunt and peck and needle in a haystack with a bunch of other needles. You have been thru so much its incredible. But I am so glad you are still here! <3
