Eftelig was nice, we had good weather.

Went away on wednesday to, to Wondr in Amsterdam. Google says: Within WONDR you will find a wonderful world with 15 interactive installations (1200 m2), made in collaboration with the most creative minds of the city. Jump into the largest ball pit in the Netherlands, dive into a pool of pink marshmallows, get lost in an extra terrestrial jungle, dance under a glittering sky & sing in full breast.

And thursday and friday i was a couch potato with a wee bit of cleaning.

Went back to work on saturday, had 2 days shifts that weekend and yesterday a swingshift. I dove right back into it as it was busy, short staffed, and other crap that came along. Glad to have 2 days off now lol

woohoo on new glasses for the both of us.

Darth Vader wanted me to join the dark side i said no as nurisng is keeping me busy. He was not amused lol

BUT!!! For my birthday and graduation i got concert tickets from my siter. We are going to see OneRebuplic on my birthday (september 28) in Amsterdam.

The Wondr in Amsterdam sounds wonderful, would love to visit one day. Would love to dive into a pool of pink marshmallows, and dance under a glittering sky & sing. Oh man it sounds great....I so wish one day maybe, you never know.

I've been down for the past few days so hubby got me a giant Eevee plushie. So, of course, I got my other giant Eevee plushie to sit beside it on the couch.

The giant Eevee plushie I already had, I bought for myself when I was really depressed.

Hey, life gets busy for all of us. Don't sweat it.

It's saved me quite a few times and I'm very thankful to shich ever parent gave it to me. I have a feeling it was my mother because my dad doesn't seem to have a sense of humor. Probably removed by the military. 😆

RCU calls "not self" an echo. Aleksi Kesa is an echo of Alex Casey. Alex Casey, in turn, is an echo of Max Payne*. While it would be more than amusing for Alex and Max to meet, they won't be in my fic trilogy.

• = Legally, though, Alex is separate from Max. But it's pretty clear to everyone that Alex is an echo of Max.

- I love Max Payne. It was such a good trilogy to play. Loved the movie, too. I'm amazed that I didn't equate the two before you said something. ❤

I haven't played the games as when I was young I thought my poor hand control would make it impossible for me to play the majority of games. Since I intend to fully play the RCU (though FBC Firebreak right now is a no go as it's multiplayer), I will eventually play the Max Payne series. I think Remedy has gotten the rights to Max Payne back as there's talks about a remake.

I've seen part of the movie.

You probably would've put two and two together sooner if you could see as on my fic covers I have Alex Casey on them. And since both characters are portrayed by Sam Lake, Alex looks like an aged up Max Payne.

I know you listened to Nightless Night but Sam Lake fully portrays Aleksi Kesa and sounds nothing like the late James McCaffrey (the voice of Max Payne and Alex Casey).

I don't think I've mentioned the Alex Casey and Max Payne connection before.

- You always go deeper on subjects then I do. I have no idea who has the right to the game IP right now as I haven't played in years and stopped tracking that stuff. I remember the movie, thoughl. Didn't Mark Wahlberg play Max? Or, am I confusing ips? XD

- Shame the marshmallows weren't edible although I think it'd cause a public health crisis if they were. XD I only get the newgarten stuff because of the collectibles. Easier to get them straight from the source then through secondary players who want to gouge for sp. :D

RCU is a hyperfixation. I've probably forgotten more about it than a sane person should know. After I'm done writing a silly drabble I'll have to finally write my Thomas Zane theory post. I've been putting it off for months as it makes me nervous.

There are other games where I do just happen across things. It's like I'm a magnet for useless information xD

The only two actors I remember from that film are the two leads. I honestly might've just caught the last five minutes.

Hi all, hope everyone is doing ok. Doing ok here. Been enjoying my vacation, just got home from 2 weeks Greece and tomorrow leaving for a week to the country side where we rented a air bnb.

What did you do in Greece?

Today is lazy for me and tomorrow I'll be seeing Weapons. So it's a good weekend ahead for me :)
