Sorry I havent been on in awhile, I couldnt get the forums to load all last week. I dunno what was going on.... Anyways Im here now. Did I miss anything? I didnt go back and read.....

Anyways Happy FRIDAY all..... Hubby comes home today, so I will be spending as much time with him and the family as I can. Every other weekend really sucks. and last time he was home he was out for 3 weeks, I hope he never does that again!! I know we kinda need the $ right now cause we r still playing catch up from him being out 8 months last year from his motorcycle accident. But him being on the road that long isnt for me, and I know he hated it to. But he is a good man and he does what he has to do to keep the house and family afloat. I just wish things were different now. I mean we arent to young anymore and our kids r grown but still live here. I just wish he could work a little less, worry about the bills less, and us actually go away a few days once in awhile. Sighs

Anyways..... off to do my daily stuff and then I gotta do some RL household chores lol Toodles.....

- The quests are different in that there is only 5 quests per quest giver. So Wizard only has 5 quests. I like the change from 15 because it's quicker for me to do them. Plus, and there's some issues with it right now but, the search function opens up on the same page as the quest so you don't have to tab around anymore. If you try it, don't click the npc option because that lags out the page to the point where you'll have to completely close the tab and reopen it for it to work. Other then that, I like the new quests. I just wonder what will happen to Sarah, Quentin, Library, Duality, Cinthia, and Carl's quests because they don't have quests in the new section. There are other, completely new characters giving out the quests. :/

- You and me, both, hon. I remember when the User Shop Search was first implimented and the whole site imploded because of it. 😆

- n I get all my books from Audible, an Amazon company. I have almost a thousand books there. If you have an Audible account, I may be able to share some of the books I have with you. I noticed the function the other day but didn't try it out. Aside from Audible, I get a lot of my book suggestions right here on Subeta. I'm part of another chat group called Di-Kat and 2 people there give me really good suggestions. Plus, I get some suggestions right here from our own Kysnier. She's a book hound like I am. :D

In fact, I only went over there to read your Minecraft story untel the Vella contraption got greedy and wanted over 200 points for a chapter (which was more then I had left and hubby wouldn't buy me more :( ) I'm currently trying to sell my hubby on letting me get the kindle e-reader so I can buy your books, read them, and leave glowing reviews. I won't leave a bad review. If I have something bad (constructive criticism) to say, I'll say it to you privately. - Have you ever smelled tiger balm? It has a lot of camphor and menthol in it and I think it stinks. But, it works when other stuff doesn't so I put up with the stink. XD

- When I was at Disney I stumbled onto their Nightmare Before Christmas shop. :O o.o :O I went nuts. I got everything from a t-shirt to plushies and a license plate for my then van. When my hubby saw what I had gotten he just stood there and laughed untill he cried. He asked if we had any money left and I said, "A little..." 😂 😆 😂 Are you getting excited? I would be, to the point I wouldn't be able to sleep. :D

- You missed me being splendiferous! I was able to solve climate change, end world hunger, and settle all the world's wars peacefully. :P 😂 Actually, you just missed me running off at the mouth. It's been the usual chat so you're ok. You didn't miss much. Enjoy the time with your hubby. I think it's admirable that he's willing to do what it takes to take care of his family. :D

Yeah, the Forums were all over the place during the dance and then when the Christmas in July event started they freaked out.

I mainly read sci-fi and fantasy. Meanwhile I watch mainly horror.

But they denied an ad for one of my fics because they were unsure if I would change the rating as some fic writers do that. I didn't ask about the Kafka's Men situation as I felt they would have the same answer. They probably saw Reverse Harem and thought it was a constant barrage of sex.

There is sex in the series that I don't shy away from, but it is far from constant.

I stopped writing my Minecraft series but I'm thinking of publishing short stories around my long running Minecraft world. But I need to find time to write and also make sure if I need to change any names since I use names from series. Words can't be copyrighted but I'm still unsure. If it would infringe on copyright I just might make them something exclusive to my blog and/or cross post them on A03.

Kindle Vella was honestly a mess. Giving people 3 or 5 chapters for free was hard enough to deal with. But then they upped the free chapters which meant authors would have to do more work for less pay and pray we held the interest of readers enough that they would still be reading past 10 chapters. Which meant making the stories longer in order to get paid.

Yes! I had some Tiger Balm at one point but personally I like the smell of camphor and it IS medicinal. I found out that the Walmart brand of muscle rub (generic version of Ben-Gay) actually has MORE camphor and menthol than the name brands so if I need muscle rub I get the walmarts store barnd.

- Twitter was a long time ago. I haven't been on there since Musk bought it. Honestly, as soon as my son told me about BlueSky I was there, mainly because it wasn't Twitter or FB related. XD When I was writing I modled my advertising after the likes of Brandon Sanderson and Stephen King. I flooded the zone as much as possible. Sometimes I think I was advertising more then I was actually writing. It takes A LOT to get noticed in the pletheora of writing online. XD falls over 😂

- I do not read fan fiction except for the wonderful stuff published by our own . Her stories are whimsical yet based in relaity. Check out some of the links in her signature to read her stuff. Let me know if you get an Audible account and I'll check out the "share" link in the mean time. :D

- 😆 So would I! 😆 I tend to pack, then repack, and then repack a thrid time. XD I'm always unsure of what clothes/ hygene products to bring. Do I pack everything? Will everything fit in my suitcase? I still use Tiger Balm regardless of the smell. One thing I won't do, though, is use Vicks vapor rub. The smell, like everything with camphor and menthol, is just not a good thing. It reminds me when, as a Medical secretary on the night shift, I had to help the CNAs transfer a deceased person downstairs (if you know what I mean... - Trust me, I completely understand. Although, I did rebel in one way, I never opened an Instagram account. I had a FB and that was enough for me to deal with in that regard. - I checked out my Audible account and I regret to inform you that I completely misunderstood what their interface was showing me. It said "Share this book" and I thought that it meant that I could share the book. Nope. They meant share the book on FB or Twitter (X) I poked around more thinking maybe it was different on different books but even on the "other options section it only gave me the option to gift the book if I wanted to buy it for someone. I apologize for misleading you. :'(( If it were a real book, I'd just mail it to you. :'((

Ah..I see. I can understand why smells like that would be unpleasant for you when such things were used to probably mask the odors of a deceased individual and stuff. While not the same thing there is a song called 'Over the Rainbow' sung by a man named 'Isreal Kamakawiwo' and for right now I can't bear to listen to it as it was the song played in my moms hospital room as she lay in a coma. It was the last time I really seen her 'alive' so it is hard to listen to even though it was one of her favorite pieces.

No, I only use A03 to post my fics and sometimes to read. I am honestly EXTREMELY picky when it comes to choosing a fic. The vibes have to be JUUUST right. I know of fanfic.net that I used to post to and also WattPad.
