I can imagine the chaos of two kitties using the box at the same time; just doesn't seem to work yet each one wanted to be 'first' sort of like little kids waiting for a swing, everyone wants to be first and then two try to use it and insanity ensues.

Fortunately this has not happened in regards to the litter box but on occasions Spot would relentlessly harass Callie so I would lock Spot in the back room for a few minutes so Callie could calm down and by the time I let Spot out they both forgot what they were fighting about and would find them both curled up with one another on my bed :)

Yep! They don't call them our furry kids for nothing... :)

Harry Styles is a member of One Direction and I think he has a solo career. He's also been in a few movies, I believe. He's the only member of the band I'm aware of xD

I saw your post and went, "WHAT!?" So sad. But I read that his Parkinson's had progressed and he couldn't walk anymore. I saw Black Sabbath with a couple other bands a long time ago. It was a good show. We had fun. RIP Ozzy...

- I've been that way with some people. I thought they were already dead when their death was announced. XD Makes me feel weird. :/ Hmmmm Don't know who Harry Stiles is either and I'm not sure I've seen anything with him in it. He was probably in diapers the last time I actually watched anything. 😂 Yeah, I did which not a lot can say. :D

- I hadn't heard that but I did hear that he did onelast concert for his fans like 3 weeks ago. I wish I'd know, I would have watched. It not only had Black Sabbath but also Pantera, Metallica, and Janes Addiction among others. I'm glad he got one last concert. :/

I love Metallica esp. They have said they didn't like Load or Re-load, and fans went berserk, but those are my favorite right behind the Black album. Metallica 1997 in Ft Worth was the last concert I went to. They played songs from Load and other great hits so I was happy. Right after Enter Sandman two crew guys fell from the lights and then the stage exploded. Someone ran off on fire. It was cool tho, after they got the guys taken away by firemen and ambulances and the stage was clear, the concert kept going. I thought it was for real, like everyone else, but it was the first filming of their "Cunning Stunts". Can't believe that was 28 years ago.... OMG getting so old. lol

- Sounds like it was a good time! I have an admission to make, I have never, ever been to a concert. My hubby was amused by this and wanted to take me to one but even we haven't gotten around to it. I guess we just like watching stuff from the confort of our home too much. XD :DD

Wow, I'm surprised you never went to even one. They were great while I was going, which was like over a 20 year period. Seeing a band live is exciting. The energy going back and forth from the band to the audience is incredible. Can't really describe it.

I've seen so many bands I couldn't even tell you, unless the subject triggers it. At least 100. But I think more. At the time it was like $15 a ticket. Very affordable, even then. My first concert, believe it or not, was The Commodores. I was one of the very few white faces in a sea of black. lol OMG it was fun tho! I went with a black guy. Some concerts were truly amazing, like Bruce Springsteen did not have a warm up band, and he and the E Street Band played for two hours. Then he called a break, and said they weren't done yet, come back. THEN they played for ANOTHER two hours. And it was so entertaining too. Just awesome overall. Then on the other side, I was really disappointed with Van Halen. They played maybe six songs - seriously! - and stretched each one out with boring solos. We were in the floor maybe 20' from the speakers, and every time Eddie hit a certain very common chord during a solo, the sound vibrated thru my collarbone. It was horrible. Finally had to get up and go a lot further back. Ugh. Finally got to the point the tickets were out of sight expensive and I was increasingly panicked in crowds, so over time just had to quit going. I miss it tho.

- It sounds like you had a blast with the concerts you did go to. I'm not sure why I never went to one. I mean, I like music but am kind of picky. I guess the best reason I never went is because I never thought the music would be as good live as it is on a tape/cd/whatever. I didn't want to be disillusioned about music the way I get with tv shows/movies that are made from books. XD

My birds were such...little shits this afternoon.

I'll set the scene: I had just given them their baths. Though with the parakeets the method is more of tossing a grenade. I had had to lock the parakeet cage afterwards as Daenerys really likes going into there even though she isn't allowed in. Brian was sound asleep.

So the birds starts yelling at the tops of their lungs as if one of them is dying. Brian wakes up from his dead sleep thinking one of them is in trouble. He comes into the room sleepily trying to figure out who is hurt. It takes a few tries but I'm finally able to get him to understand that no one is actually hurt.

He was not happy xD

Oh, if I'm just listening to music I only want to hear the studio version. But when I was at a concert, it was really different. Usually exciting and such an energy. I loved going. <3

You said tossing a grenade; do you mean the parakeets just explode with energy because they love it? I wasn't sure. Whenever my dogs got baths, they didn't really like them until the end. They loved getting dried and fluffed with the towel. Then they went wild with energy. Ran all over the house at top speed. They could knock you down if you were in the way. :) Bad birds for waking Brian up! lol Does covering the cages help any with making them quiet?

We have this toy sink that we're trying to get them to like and use on their own. With the cockatiels I'm able to hold them firmly and make sure they get nice and wet. With the parakeets I'm worried about giving them a heart attack. So I just quickly put them in, turn around, and they fly around. Sometimes they fly around a lot and other times they just quickly fly to the top of their cage.

Today Freyja took a couple of laps around the room.

I think today Dany wanted a bath as I was able to catch her REALLY easily.

If our sinks are clear and Brian is up to it, we do give the cockatiels the spa treatment.

Covering cages does help with keeping them quiet but it doesn't make them completely silent. Sometimes I'm playing a game after they're asleep and during certain sounds they will wake up and squawk. During the daytime the birds are let out of their cages.

How many of what kind of birds do you have? I don't remember. But it sounds like a lot. My daughter used to have parrots. Distinct personalities for sure. One was small and grey. His name was Romeo. He loved my grandson and liked everyone else. He was a nice bird. She had one that liked men, esp her husband, and hated her. Another adored her and hated everyone else. lol

- You let the birds out of the cages every day? Aren't you afraid they'll poo on something? o.o I'm off to read it! :D

! I guess I'll just have to see who's in my area and see if I can get to one of their concerts. I have no idea who's still touring. XD :D

Oh maybe. This day and age I won't be going to any more. And it might be overwhelming and frightening for you too now. Even if I could stand the crowds I couldn't walk that far, esp up and down the steps anyway. Just good memories now. :)

Parakeets: Freyja and Mobius

Cockatiels: Jorah and Daenerys

Jorah is the most peaceful bird I've ever had. Mobius has no self-preservation. Daenerys thinks everything belongs to her. Freyja stays out of drama but isn't afraid to voice her mind VERY loudly.

They tend to stay around their cages minus when they get zoomies and start flying around. So the poo tends to stay around the cages. We now keep the doors closed due to Mobius nearly dying in the study as he decided to stay hidden. He's so small that it was nearly impossible to find him.

Jorah tends to crash in places and so every now and again I'll rescue him.

Consider the mystery in the chapter as an appetizer in preparation for the main course =D

I've heard most birds are noisy and nosy. lol Can you post pics sometime? I'd love to see them. I know parakeets are really colorful. I've seen mostly a mix of greens and blues, but some pretty yellows too. Are both cockatiels white? Are those birds always white? So beautiful.
