Pings have been a bit weird lately - I've not got several that should've come through o.O Love the purples in your HA-less outfit :)

That always helps when you can play either sitting or standing - I can play the keyboard standing, but because I know instinctively where the keys are, when I sit down it messes with my head completely and I trip over the notes 😊 :P

I got notified that the parcel is in Oslo now and have been sorted, so it should get here soon or soon-ish!

it is somewhere I'd love to go at some point :D Whenever we went on family holidays, it was always heading south from here, and going to Cornwall, Devon or Dorset - we never went anywhere to the north (or east), so all of that is kind of unexplored for me! :P

lol it messed with my head when I redid my room for the piano but i got used to it with in about two weeks.

As far as England I have only ever been to London. I would love to see some of the places you mentioned. :D

back when we had Sid the budgie, Mum had turned his cage around after cleaning it out - I found it ridiculously disorientating to walk down the stairs with the cage back-to-front from what it usually was 😊

I think you saw more of London than I have done laughs although I will admit most of the times I was there, was for work rather than sight-seeing (but I didn't use the Tube, so at least I got to walk back to the station and have a look in a few shops) ;)

I looked at the wall above the cage as I came down the stairs, then turned the cage back round again :P I hadn't realised until that point, just how used I was to seeing the cage one way round! 😊

Your HA looks really pretty today. :) I did do tons of sightseeing. My favorite things were the Harry Potter studios and the musical we went to. ;) Following in Jack the Rippers footsteps was fun too. lol

You've definitely seen more places in London than I have! laughs One year I want to go back and see some of the things I missed the previous times (I hadn't realised at the time just how close I was to being able to see Buckingham Palace, so it was annoying to realise I could've just walked another 10 minutes or so, to see it while I was there!) ;)

So sorry about the delay it's been crazy since Wednesday. I saw my doctor and was in a lot of pain--it felt as it the bones were rebroken and still does. Plus it was Grocery day which is always crazy. And I was going to get on today but we've had a flood in two of our bathrooms and part of the hall. It took over 2 hours to get it cleaned up and we've lost a carpet. The plumber has us scheduled for Monday. I've been in so much pain today it's not funny.

that never helps when the pain is that bad - was the doc able to do anything about it? Was the flood from the bathroom, or through the roof? We had the water leak down from our bathroom sink and end up flooding the kitchen floor before, and that was bad enough! Hopefully the plumber will be able to sort things and not charge too much either ;)

Sorry for being so slow responding to messages. Just a dumb combo of some days being busy and other days just not feeling overly chatty. (keep reading)

Hopefully things have quietened down a bit squishes We've got the electricians working on things for a few days, so I've been relying on my cellphone to get internet access (as they had to turn the electric off all afternoon, and probably all day tomorrow as well).... which doesn't make it very easy to use forums!

nods I think London is one of those places you really need to stay for several nights just to make sure you have time to see everything you want to - whenever I'd been, it was just for the day :P

the hose in the tank was too short and the flush valve dislodged the hose causing one toilet to shoot water everywhere and leak through the wall to the powder room and into the hall. It was a nightmare. Ugh that sucks too.

Yeah he fixed it and they are supposed to be running by here today with a visa gift card for the loss of the carpet.

you should qualify for a refund if he caused the extra pain 😇 I'm much the same with anything like that - I only took the dissolvable painkillers after my wisdom teeth had been taken out, because I could barely function without them 😊
