I typically have just looked for Cello music, though some piano music and violin music can be transposed to bass clef. but there are a lot of options out there. Way better than when i was a kid trying to play the double bass.
Glad you were able to transpose it :D sometimes it just doesn't work right.
ugh that sounds awful.
Any progress on getting the gp?
I hear you on the heatwave
glad your feeling better and were able to be there for your friend
You are doing so well with your musical training. :D Kudos to you! I am glad to feel better too. lol Weird huh? It was just a bummer to get sick the day before I was supposed to live and have the trip end on a sour note. :)

Well that was a longer break from the computer than I'd anticipated! Long story short, in mid August I suddenly couldn't walk up the stairs and the fatigue was immense (literally one day I barely had the energy to lift a fork to eat), so I was basically living and sleeping in the lounge for 5 weeks (and of course the computer lives upstairs!). Thankfully things improved somewhat, so I was able to go on a respite 'holiday' break to a local care home for 4 weeks. As odd as it sounds, that was actually really good! It gave me a chance to be able to do things without the stress of needing to do stairs (or walk about too much, as I've been using a wheelchair for distances over 20 metres).
I'm back now (taking a while to get used to doing stairs again!), so hopefully I can get back to using the computer a bit! (Just need the internet sorted in my flat.... got two weeks to wait for that to be set up).
Still working on getting a diagnosis (I have now changed doctors' practices) - apparently I need to book in a double-length appointment so they can go over all my blood tests and everything, to see if they can figure it out.... fingers crossed it won't take too long to actually get a label put to this now!
That was definitely useful that she didn't catch it! And hopefully you're back to normal now?
I've actually got some smart-looking trousers that are actually more like joggers, so they're comfy but don't look too casual from a distance!
Ewwww.... that's a bit of an odd special trick!
At my respite break, they had a resident cat who was quite cute - I'll see if I can get some photos on here to show you.
transposing to bass clef can get challenging until you realise it's just a couple of notes different ;)
I love the HA by the way :D

It must be difficult to deal with fatigue that is this bad. I hope your doctor can provide some answers. It is even worse, when you don't know what is causing it to begin with. Sending you some warm thoughts, hoping for your health to take a turn for the better.
I am mostly back to normal now, thankfully. It was frustrating not to find the words to say what I wanted to say.
Smart looking trousers that are comfy as joggers sound perfect. :D I have managed to find some that are very comfortable too, but still look nice enough to leave the house in.
I would love to see a pic the cat if you want to share. ^_^

it hasn't been easy! I've got a doctor's appointment made now but it's not until the end of next month, which is a bit annoying!
It always helps when the trousers look smart, but they have a really comfy waistband so they aren't digging in all day long ;)
I've got lots (literally loads) of photos, so here's a selection:

He does spend a lot of time snoozing on his favourite chairs (or blocking a doorway!), but he kind of earns his keep there by hunting rodents in the gardens ;)

I am sorry they could not give you an appointment any sooner. Sounds like a lot of docs here, with long waiting lists. Not fun.
Aww, such a cute little kitty! Of course he needs naps after working so hard catching rodents and getting as much attention as he wants. :D Pusur's favorite place to rest/sleep is my lap, so I often feel like a cat bed that also happens to feed him.

I could've had an appointment before then, but the only available time of day was 8am - and that's way too early for me to be able to get there! laughs
Aww that's sweet that Pusur has decided your lap is the best cat bed (until you really need to move of course :P) :D The resident cat at the respite place was staring at his empty food bowl one day, then looking back at a visitor as if they were going to magic some food into it for him ;)

I am sooo not a morning person, so any appointment this early is a big nope for me. :P Even worse if will take a long time to get there.
Pusur is not happy with me when I have to move him. He will sometimes loudly complain. Like he is complaining to the manager or something. Other times he will try to push himself back on to my lap. Cats can be amusing. Cats must think we are weird for filling up their bowls, instead of hunting ourselves. Very lazy indeed. Their resident cat sounds really sweet.

I'm not normally up long before 8am anyway, let alone needing to have breakfast, get out of the house and get there! laughs
I think he has you purrfectly well trained.... well, apart from daring to move when he's comfy, of course :P The weird thing is, that resident cat would happily hunt for food, but he still expected his food bowl to be filled for him as well ;)

I always like to sleep in if I can. :P I have been like that since I was a kid. My mum had a "fun" time trying to get me up for school. lol
Pusur refuses to be trained really, but he got me trained good. How can I resist that cute little face. :) Cats likes to hunt for the sport, and don't always eat what they kill, So it is possible that their cat did not always kill their prey, but maybe prefered the food they were served instead? My old cat Bandit, once brought in a dead mouse. He just left it on the floor once he was done toying with it.

I had to set two alarm clocks to make sure I got up for work - one by the bed (which I would turn off in my sleep!), and a really loud one that was over the other side of the room, so I had to get up to turn it off ;)
Their resident cat played with his hunting 'prizes' but would usually also eat what he caught - he wasn't welcome to bring in his prey, so he tended to find someone sitting outside and sit near them to play with his prey, so he could show it off :P

I use two alarm clocks. My phone, and a special one that also vibrates that I put under my pillow. That usually does the trick. ;) My mum would remove the duvet and open the window if I did not get up. That worked like a charm during the cold winter!
LOL! How cute that the kitty wanted to show off their prey. :) My friend cat had a small bird get into her flat. Her cat just patted the bird on the head, so she was able to save the bird without problem. No hunting insticts there I guess. lol

laughs that's definitely something my Mum did when I was a teenager ;) The vibrating alarm clock sounds like a brilliant idea though, so you don't have to rely on hearing your phone alarm either :D
Whoa, that's definitely a good job that your friend's cat wasn't a hunter!!

I am so glad my school days are over. It was extra hard to get up early for school during the winter when it was dark and cold outside. Makes the bed feel ever more comfy. The vibrating alarm clock does make me feel more at ease. It has worked really well for me so far.
My friends cat is a big sweetheart. But you would think trying to get a bird would be tempting still!

yeah I definitely don't miss having to get up for school (or work!), especially on chilly mornings! I don't like my room too warm, so I tend to leave the heating off or on very low.... the bed then is nice and cosy, but it doesn't encourage me to want to get up laughs
I still manage to turn off my alarm clock when I'm mostly asleep, so I use my phone as a back-up alarm now (just far enough away from the bed so I can't reach it without getting up! :P)

Lately I have been freezing more at night, especially my feet, so I need something to keep me warm enough. The joys of getting older I guess?
I keep my phone on the bedside table. I really should put it further away, since I tend to hit the snooze button a lot. :P

at my flat, I've got electric radiators (and still haven't worked out the best temperature setting for the nights / mornings) so I've got a double duvet on a single bed - I folded the duvet over so it's twice the thickness ;) Only trouble then is it definitely is too warm and cosy to want to get up! laughs
I realised I could not only snooze my alarm clock in my sleep, but one morning I actually managed to turn the alarm off in my sleep o.O :P (can't manage to do my phone one like that though)

I have electric radiators too. One mounted to the wall in my bedroom and one on the floor in my livingroom. Since my flat is small, one is enough to heat up my place enough. I also have heated floors in my bathroom. I like the sound of your double duvet. Very cozy!
I don't end up hitting the snooze button in my sleep. I guess that would be difficult to do on my phone anyway, so I have to open with facial recognition or enter my passcode. lol

oooo heated floor in the bathroom sounds ideal! My bedroom radiator works quite well, but the hallway doesn't have any heating at all, so most of the heat in the bedroom escapes into the hall instead :K
Yeah, that would be quite complicated to do in your sleep if you need to enter your code first! laughs I guess that's one way of making sure you actually get up to turn the alarm off :P
