Possibly we'll have to get some plants although I'm hoping that we will get enough growing (and we've got runner beans to work on next as well) - the fruit plants on the allotment should start springing back into leaf soon as well, so at least it'll look like there's more growing!

I never thought to sit down when trying on trousers to check if they ride down too much. Now that is a good idea. lol Finding the perfect pair of trousers can be surprisingly difficult! Now I often wear trousers that looks like jeans, but are more like leggings as they have an elastic band instead of zippers and buttons. They are comfortable. :D

it hadn't dawned on me for years, until I went to work in a clothing shop and the manager recommended that we suggested all the customers sat down in the trousers they were trying on, just so they could know how comfy they would be! I do prefer the elasticated waist on trousers like that - I've made my own in a similar style (they're made from a kind of thick t-shirt material), as they're much nicer than having a really stiff waistband that digs in when you sit down ;) The hardest thing though is making sure the elastic is the right length (I tend to end up with it a bit too long, so I have to redo that after I've finished making the trousers :P)

I have seen the style of trousers I like to wear be called jeggings, which seems fitting. But of course I buy them at the store rather than attempting to make them myself. There is also some elasticity in the legs too, which also helps make them comfortable to wear. :D

Thank you :D I had a suitably lazy day yesterday ;) I did manage to finally get the curtains up today though (Mum helped, which was good, because once we got the curtain on the track, the curtain wouldn't close - the track still needed cleaning!)

I had some slipper socks, a book (on pre-order), a DVD, the usual selection of smellies / bubble bath things, PJs, and an IOU voucher for a new headboard for my bed (that way I get to pick one I like) :D

That's impressive on the tomato plants! Last time I grew tomatoes, it was accidental (Mum put a tomato in the compost, and it rooted - didn't produce any toms though)

The only thing I dislike about the jeggings style is that the legs can sometimes be a bit too close-fitting for me! :P But that stretchiness to the fabric always helps :D

It did scream 'moustache' to me :P maybe if you used some facepaint or something underneath the nose, it might look less hairy? Lene got me hooked on the series laughs it's kind of a Harry Potter style one (but nothing to do with HP if that makes sense?) ;)

I agree, that is the one thing I would change about my jeggings. They are a bit tight fitting around my calves.

A lot of the Masq hairs are quite hard to use (or at least they're not ones that Niamh thinks are suitable for her to wear :P).... maybe we've just got most of the "normal" hairstyles already? ;)
