or catching your foot in the hem if the jeans have quite a wide base :P
nods I saw someone on a sewing group recommend that you wear beige under a white top rather than white, as it's less likely to be visible.... but I've never tried that out o.O If black (and navy) fade so quickly after the first wash, why don't they just use less dye in the first place and make it so that it's meant to be slightly faded?! It was always more noticeable with my school uniform, as the jumper and trousers always faded at different rates, so they never looked like they actually ever matched :P

basically the achilles tendon is so tight it’s pulling the sprained tendon which isn’t getting a chance to heal correctly. So lengthening the achllies tendon will allow for it to heal without strain. He said i need the tendon fixed anyway for blood flow and walking so…
thanks. Im very upset about it and keep bursting into tears randomly. But i don’t have many options so yeah. I hope it also resolves this isses and i can finally resume the things i want to do. Sigh
You step on the hem and then you get to fix it later. Always fun. :P
I have never thought about wearing beige under a white top. I don't have many beige clothes, or else I would have given it a try. I usually just wear a white tank top under the white top if it is too see through.
I have noticed that with some sets I got too. Like sweatpants/sweaters. Looks a bit odd, but not a huge deal when you just wear them around the house. You can buy fabric dye, but that only works if the clothes you want to dye is just one colour.
Do you have any idea when the surgery will be? I am sorry it is so difficult for you. It is okay to have a good cry when you need to. I sure do. :squishes:

was that likely to be from the previous op then? Hopefully lengthening it will work perfectly, and you won't have any more pain squishes How did the pre op appointment go?
I've never thought of layering a white tank top underneath! I only ended up with beige stuff as the shop didn't have white in stock at the time :P
I suppose you could always wear the sets as a mix & match style (assuming you've got different colours) but that could look a bit weird if they're all different patterns! I've never tried fabric dye - I just have a feeling it wouldn't be properly colourfast (like denim jeans when you wash them the first 10 times!)

I had pre-op today. My doctor decided to gift me with a second surgery. I'm grateful for the assistance lol though I don't want any surgery. I don't know how long this will all take either, Just know that I'll have a cast for at least 3 months and he's giving me narcotics for pain relief which doesn't thrill me but lol oh well. I can't even remember what the second surgery is called o.0
my laptop is not work well though so pardon me if my posts are typo city. Mobile phones are not the best for this kinda thing lol.
well at least that takes a huge chunk of financial pressure off it... I dread to think what it would've cost you otherwise! That sounds like a long time with a cast, but I've got my fingers crossed that this is the last surgery / set of casts you'll need to get that foot sorted out squishes
Sod's law on the laptop though - any idea what's wrong with it? I gave up trying anything longer than a text message on my mobile - that keyboard on the screen is just too small for long messages! 😊

agreed. The first one alone is over $2,000
Its cooling fan isn’t working, the battery has a fault, its super slow, and not sure what else. Going to a repair store to see if the can fix it for cheap
😮 yeesh that's pricey!!
....just a few things wrong with it then?! I hope the repair shop can do a good job at repairing it while not charging too much ;) (and that you've got everything saved on there backed up just in case!) ;)

agreed and thats also discounted.
Yeah. It’s apparently gonna cost nearly the same price to fix it as a new computer would cost. So im out of a computer now :(.
jaw drop I guess at least it's a lot less of a waiting time than we have over here, but that's an incredible price especially given that already had a discount! o.O
Urgh that stinks :( And of course it's more expense that you don't need right now

yeah :/. The waiting time for nhs is terrible but the cost of none insured here is crippling. Not sure which is worse
Exactly. And our washing machine and dryer are both on the fritz
and I can imagine that insurance doesn't cover pre-existing conditions anyway, so if they could prove you had the problem before you took out the insurance, they still wouldn't pay?
Well I suppose if the washer & dryer are separate things (rather than all-in-one) then at least you can dry things indoors if necessary.... but obviously that isn't much help for actually washing anything in the first place. Any chance of them being repaired or do you think they'd be needing replacements as well?

That is some gift. lol I am sorry you are having to go through it. :( But I hope you can look forward to an easier life after it has healed. I am glad you are getting some pain relief, but please be careful with those it is very easy to get dependent on. :squishes:
I don't own a beige tanktop.. but I have some white ones. I have had a couple of white sweaters that are kinda see through as well. o_o It is hard to make white clothes not see through I guess?
Usually those washed out clothes ends up just being worn around the house, until they look bad enough to toss. :P Fabric dye has worked reasonably well for me in the past. It makes the clothing look new again, at least for a while. ;)

some do some don’t. They are separate but drying in our humidity can be problematic. Nah they are old
i hope so too. Trust me, I sm very careful with medication and I’ve had them before
That is good to hear. :) I am still waiting for my zelda game. :grumbles: But did finish Persona 5. lol

how come? Is it shipping to you? I got mine already. Yay on finishing
Yeah, I ordered it online and they are taking their sweet time shipping it to me. o-o Very frustrating. Have you been playing?

I think white can be non-see-through if the fabric is thick enough, but I've not come across anything like that so far!
I might have to try fabric dye when I have something that looks too washed out to wear makes a note of that ;) If I have tops that are really looking tired, they get relegated to gardening tops as then it doesn't matter if they get muddy / ripped if I get too close to the thorns on the plants! :P
Well our washing machine is old (they no longer make the small size we'd need to fit into our kitchen), but the repair bloke has still been able to mend it each time it's broken down (so far!!). But that isn't helpful when the humidity is so high :K

my parents don’t think it’ll be worth it to repair them. Though I don’t think with all the cracks the dryer had it can be repaired
So do you know much about computers? Im looking at a lenveno yoga. It has good ratings but one magazine says that 2 in 1 laptops lack the things a computer has. But I don’t see a difference in the soecs to others i was looking at. Not that I understand much of that
