It depends on what the problems are with it - our washing machine had a problem with the belt that turns the drum, and also something else - all in the space of 12 months o.O

Erm kind of laughs I've never looked at the 2 in 1 laptops, but I suppose the main thing is down to what you want to use it for.... does the magazine say what a 2-in-1 lacks, or was that that just a generic statement?

well the washer is too small for larger things like my mattress pad and the king comforter mum and dad have. It burned my $150 mattress topper. It also is mouldy around the sides and we can’t get it off the rubber so we want a top loader instead with a higher capacity. Its also not turning on a lot of times.

It doesn’t come with a stylus or internal dvd drive but both aren’t expensive to buy. And i would need a converter for hdmi but i dont use that feature heavily either

hehe our washer is miniscule compared to yours (it has a 4.5kg capacity, so we can't even wash a double bed- sized blanket in there!) That's not good with yours burning your mattress topper though :K

One thing I would say about top loaders though, is emptying them can be hard on your back as you have to lean in (obviously depending on how tall you are :P).

has a read through Even Mum's new desktop computer didn't come with a DVD drive - I bought an external one ;) So as long as the laptop has enough USB sockets (or you have an adaptor to add more) then that shouldn't be too terrible ;)

With the 'refresh rate' I don't know that it would be a problem, but that would really depend on what the refresh rate is on your old one - if it's the same number, then you won't have a problem with any games showing weirdly ;)

....and speaking of the old one, have you tried looking up a review for your old laptop on the same site? If it's on there, it could be a useful comparison as then you'd see if this Lenovo one actually gets a higher rating in the areas they've marked out as not-so-great ;)

Yes we’ve had top loaders before and it is annoying trying to get that pesky sock at thr bottom. Then again side loaders can be hard to get things out of too. I often felt like i was diving in haga

Do you have the side loader raised up, or just at ground level? Just wondering if it's on a kind of plinth if that makes it easier to get into to find that rogue sock? I just end up manually pushing the drum round and seeing if a sock or anything else falls off 😇

It's how fast the screen refreshes - the slower the refresh rate, the more lag you'd get on fast-paced games (so you might get a kind of ghosting trail rather than smooth movement) ;)

I guess it's not the kind of one that has a helpful label on the back that says what kind it is? I know for some, you have to actually put the laptop on and go into file explorer (on windows - not sure about other systems :P) then right click on 'this pc' and it should say what it is .... you'd think they'd make it easier to find out though!

yeah it sounds like outside would be a better choice lol though from the council houses i saw in England that would be too exposed and probably be a fite hazard. Unless it was a model meant for outdoors

Well I can’t turn it on right now as last time it was accessible but I can’t risk it until i can take it in to have the files moved. I just hope we can move my photos. Thats my highest priority. Documents are my next priority and last is my itunes, which I already mostly had backuped

Yeah I think the garage might have been a potential option, although I wouldn't want to risk it as the garage has been known to be damp at times!

I've seen some places where they have it arranged so the dryer is on top of the washing machine (literally on a kind of shelf thing above it).... but I'd be wary that the whole thing would collapse with the movement of the washing machine! o.O

Yeah I wouldn't want to risk it either! .... maybe they could do a deal on an external hard drive that you could use as a backup (the one I've got came with a programme to automatically backup the files every day / week / month)? That way you'd still have more chance of a working copy of things if the laptop did decide to go belly-up?

And to think they make white swim suits. o-o Not a great idea. lol

I do that too... they are great for anytime you don't want to be worried about ruining your clothes. Pusur will cover all my clothes with fur, so using my nice clothes when I am home is a no go either way.

I hope you are having fun with your game. xD The laptop I use know, and the one before that, has been Lenovo. This one has been a bit weird from the start with screen flickering from the get go (I managed to mostly fix it, but it was a pain). Not that I think all Lenovo laptops would have that problem.

now that's something I just don't understand!! I mean I know swimsuit fabric can be thicker than ordinary cotton, but that's still a big risk if it turns out to be see through!

One place said they can retrieve my files for $125-$200. The other place wants $100. If I could be sure it would be safe to try to turn it back on to get my files, Id do it myself. But there is a chance they can’t get my files. I am most worried about my photos. But i will be backing my files up more frequently you can be sure of that!

yeah it can happen but Lenovo is a good brand and it scored well in the pc magazine

Yeah, my other Lenovo was fine until it got old and slow. lol Which is not surprising, it was a cheap laptop. Still works, it is just slow. I thought about trying to wipe it clean and start over.

I also know about a youtube channel called iknitwithcatfur. :P It seems accurate at my house too. I always have to keep a stack of lint rollers around.

I think I'd stick to them being side by side but maybe on a raised plinth so it's not quite so far down to clear the filter on it (seeing as that's at ground level and it's impossible to put any kind of tray underneath to catch the water!) :P

😮 whoa that's expensive! I know that Mum had a weird problem with her old computer where it suddenly deleted a lot of emails (like the hard drive forgot anything that was saved between certain dates) but there was no way to recover those :K

maybe it's just one of those swimming costumes that's designed for lounging on the beach rather than getting wet? :P One shop over here sold a range of sun hats that had "do not get wet" on the label inside.... I mean that just sounds stupid for a British summer's day when it could well rain!

Lint rollers are fairly inexpensive, so can't hurt to get one. Those fur strands can really be annoying, even if it is from fake fur or fleece. ;)

Also mini rant: I stupidly ended up buying the Molten Summoning Tome and did fine until I got to the last challenger. God knows if I ever will be able to beat that one. lol I did not realize that all drops until the last challenger are not worth much at all. So I guess I wasted my css. lol Kicking myself for not doing more research before buying. Got two achievements I guess.
