I really like the virtual option. But it can be stressful for teachers to dual teach I think. At least, the way our system did it. With more planning/training I think it'd be great. Especially for older kids. Tho I will still opt to send mine in person. He does better that way I think.

Yeah Kat, most of the girls teachers did just fine with it, but some just.. ignored it. There were no workbooks, worksheets, papers for anyone above 2nd grade (Iz got worksheets, that's it), so everyone basically did everyone on the school provided chromebooks all year, anyway. So basically even if they were in class, they were still watching on their computers. Very confusing :P But most of them actually ended up not hating it!

Been fixing muffins for breakfast and trying to wake my son so we can haul trash off. Then taking daughter shopping to get supplies to make fairy wings for a competition for her youth group statewide meeting. Oh joy!!

I forgot to mention that at our school, they really kept everyone 6 feet apart all school year, so maybe it was easier for the computer teaching? Since the teachers weren't allowed to get too close tot he students, anyway.

It's not too bad. I'm more afraid of how much will we spend for supplies than the shopping itself. I did tell her I have a small budget and she'll have to pay the extra lol

We spaced out kids, all grade levels in our school but no clue how the teachers enforced it in their classrooms. In PreK we did the best we could, 4 kids to a table and tried to keep them in table groups rather than completely spacing them apart due to being 4 and learning thru play and all, you know? So at least red table wasn't getting blue table germs or whatever lol also for quarantine purposes had anyone got sick. Easier to quarantine 1 or 2 tables instead of whole class.

Yeah, it's rough for the little little kids! Here I know most of our preschools were still closed unless they had to be open, and... I think they basically just gave up honestly.

I think I am finally done running around. Went to hobby lobby. Came home. Went to TMobile and got kids new phones. Got lunch. Came home dropped off girl. She left. Boy and I took trash to dump. Dropped him off. I went to tag office. Now home. Phew. Can I stay home now????

I finally finished cleaning out my closet, then Elly went through and took.. almost everything I got rid of except dresses.

Now I've got a big bag to take to the consignment shop, another bag for the salvation army of mostly Alex's stuff, and Elly and Lily need to go through theirs. It's a mess. :P But! At least MY mess is better, now!

The girls are out in the pool, which is FINALLY clear and clean! I'm so happy.. just in time for it to get cold and then for us to leave, and then we'll have to start all over again, I think. :P

We had to empty and clean the hot tub. I'm hoping we don't have to with the pool, but we probably will at least once.

I keep telling Alex I'm going to get the sunroom cleaned out so we can put a hot tub in there, but.. it'll be a while before that can happen at all. :(

Alex went to help his dad pick one up today for their house though so.. at least there's that!

We only got ours because it was a little inflatable one. Around $300. It's very nice to have!!! I could not afford a bigger one ever I'm sure!

Taarna Sorry to read about the laptop! Having one that goes that way is ugh. I have a "backup" But I would need to get it fixed. XD I tried a couple things but it acts like it is full of cold molasses, so I just...skipped to this one. I hope you can kick yours back into shape soon!

So I got a new (company) laptop yesterday but new new means there are a lot of things that aren't set up. Plus the fact that my former hard drive's encryption (once again, it's a company thing) locked up and there's only 1 person in the entire company that releases the encryption keys. facepalm
Maybe it will work out through the day. Hell, at least it's Friday.

My brother is supposed to be over tomorrow to work on my car. Sending out positive vibes into the universe that everything goes well. My anxiety is trying to bite me in the ass but I've been fighting against it all week.

Youngest is on vacation down in Gatlinburg with a friend. I envy her right now. I could really use some "me" time and just go and do some camping and regroup... although it is a little hot/sticky for that right now.

... I think I just got voluntold into chaperoning the youth group to IMPACT, so.. a weekend camping with a bunch of youth groups.

I guess it's only fair since the youth pastor got volunteered to work music with Lily for VBS because he missed the meeting.. I missed this meeting. :P

I switched to playing on my phone because my computer is so slow. The phone screen is too small really so I got a tablet for playing on. Much faster than computer.

I do not like camping. I'm will stay home and enjoy my bed, furniture, internet and shower. If I want a campfire, we have a fire pit. So I can do smores if I want in my own yard then come in and be cozy lol

Go Lily! I loved babysitting. Mostly it was my own little brother tho lol. Sometimes friend of the family kids or my friends older siblings kids. Hahah aren't these camps supposed to be for your kids to get away from you?!?! Lol

They babysit Iz sometimes, but don't get paid... so she's excited about this! Now she's hoping she can maybe babysit her cousins this summer, but I think Akira got the jump on that...
