I'm AMAZED!! This is the best the site has ran in months!!
Kat - there are some days I literally watch the forums to see what's most active and start throwing snowballs at people just to see how they look with some of the funny ones on their avatar heads. I seriously crack myself up doing that. :P

The snowballs on the avatars are hilarious!! I will have to buy and throw what I can, especially during Christmas break from school. Yes the site is running a little smoother now. So weird we got all thru Fireside with no problems but glitched so bad starting in Luminaire!
You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here!
Oo forum points. I need those. lol
Yeah, I absolutely love seeing the end result of the snowballs on the avatars. That will definitely give me a pick up for the day.

Oh gosh, it was a long weekend with no forum!
Kat, you look nice and festive! And what a busy weekend, you had!
Taarna, you look.. murdery :P But in a good way!
Ahhhh it was basically hallmark movie weekend around here. We had Christmas in our Hometown, and the girls went caroling with 4H. It was also the Christmas market, and Lily volunteered yesterday morning, and Elly and Iz went and hung out for a while and walked around.
Then there was youth group bowling, which was fun. I think I need a bigger van, obviously 7 is not enough seats.
Today is just jazz band and there's play auditions, Lily is skipping nad only going to the Friday auditions though, because she's going to look at Christmas lights with her friends family. I'm.. basically staying home. And I'm going to eat soup. :P
Not having to repetitively sign in is incredible.... about time he fixed that.
Murdery... lol. I do love the festive avatars around here. :D
You guys are too busy for me. Sheesh. Soup sounds fantastic! It's a cold, dreary day and I just want the work day to be over already.

Potato leek soup. I've just really wanted it, Alex is (thankfully!) making it tonight. I'm very pleased :P
Ahhh I need to clean and decorate but I don't want to.
That sounds yummy! I just had Italian Wedding soup and threw some feta cheese in there.
Did some cleaning yesterday and finished decorating. Pretty happy for now. :P

Sounds like you have been busy too Sometimes I am too busy for myself 😆
Need to do more cleaning around here. Sometimes I feel like I can't even keep up with the basics. (Picking up stuff, laundry, dishes and occasional vacuuming). Bathrooms need cleaning, hallway needs vacuumed and omg I hate to say it but I can't remember the last time the kitchen floor was mopped.(I sweep, just haven't mopped lately).
You found a fairy while making a post! Oh? Haha I didn't know we could do that!!!
My dishes and laundry are done, at least?
Everything always needs sweeping and mopping.. and I don't even have a job! I swear, these kids are a full time job, IDK how any of you do it.
I followed Noodle today though, it was a no bones day and therefore, I took a long bath, and I took care of myself.. which was also needed :P
I would really prefer to vacuum every day....so much pet fur. 2 cats and 2 dogs inside. Plus the trekking in and out by hubby while grilling. He mostly stays on the porch but it's dirty too... But Im too lazy to vacuum daily. And the cat tower really needs to be vacuumed. It's so furry I could make another cat 😺 haha What's noodle? I love baths. Want a bigger tub. Hot tub has helped for soaking but I can't put bath bombs in it lol....or bublebath.
Who's noodle? lol
I hate my bathtub so I really miss baths.
The dog definitely sheds more than the cats and I hate it. I gave him a bit of a shave job (not total) during the summer and that helped a LOT but he smells like crazy so I'm actually taking him to a groomer this Friday.
Always stuff to do... mop the kitchen, sweep and sweep again, never ending dishes..... ugh.

Noodle is this dog on tiktok. He's a 13 year old pug and.. sometimes he has bones, sometimes he doesn't? :P
Our bath is great, it's a jet tub, I use bubble bath and bath bombs and stuff, but it's easier to clean these jets out than a whole hot tub! I run bleach through every two weeks, and jet cleaner once a month and it's never been an issue. :)
And agreed Taarna. It's like.. how much worse can it get if I DON'T sweep for a day? It'll be the same amount of fluff, somehow?!
Yes oh yes. Never ending dishes. At the orthodontist. Took half a day off work to drive here. Stopped at hobby lobby to browse as we were early. That was fun. Wanted to make the 15yr old stick his head in the elf, and take his picture but he said no. [Edit] 945pm Ugh. Just fiinshed my econ final. By my calculations I got a 74. Not super happy with that, but not totally disgusted either. I have 1 more try before Saturday. I am debating if it's worth trying it again....because by my calculations I have an 83 final grade (80,76,84,100,88,84,88=90%, 74=10%) And I do have my extra credit to help improve my grade (I hope it improves it!! It can't hurt it at least).
If I got as many FP's as I do fairies, I would be a really happy camper!
There's a few kitty pages I follow on Instagram, lol. One is a black beach cat and yes, he's always on the beach w/ his owner.
At least you have a couple days to decide, Kat. Is it worth your time if you already know you have a passing grade? Guess that depends how busy you are or if you just want it to be done and over with.

That's it exactly. Do I want to make the effort knowing I have a Dr apt tonight, a chorus concert tomorrow night. And youth group all day Saturday. So Friday would be the only chance to re-attampt it. I would prefer a better grade on the test, that's just how I am. But I am passing the class with a good grade.... Ugh. Decisions..... I also have 2 extra credit for psych I can do, plus my final there that is due by Wednesday.(not today, next week).
It makes sense that you would want to have a better grade for your own peace of mind, but I also think less stress is better during a busy holiday season.
Taking the dog to get a couple updated shots today and was supposed to get him groomed tomorrow but by the time they're done my daughter will have to leave for work so I wouldn't be able to pick him up. (Most uber/lyft won't do animals unless they're necessary.) Hopefully Monday will work out better. Got my physical yesterday and my heart rate is running at 122 so I've got to monitor it a bit on my own, check back w/ the doc on what I notice and then I may have to use one of their monitors for a couple weeks. I don't know, man. If I remember correctly, I've always run a little high but I know that's excessive. At least I know why I'm always so tired. 😔

I don't know Kat. I know I'd WANT to try again, but I'd get all stressed out over it and spend the tiny little bit of time I had freaking out and probably do worse. :P
That's a busy day Taarna! But yes, time to try and chill and monitor!
My MiL and I took Lily and Akira to NYC yesterday! It was such a great day, but I was glad to be home at the end of it. it WAS super nice to be able to walk places, though!
Haha that's probably what would happen. Last time I retook a quiz in econ I did just that. Worse than my first try. Busy day . Gotta watch out for our health. I am currently monitoring blood pressure and taking medication if it is "over" whatever numbers the Dr said. My dog also stinks, and I take him to groomers and bathe him in between sometimes. Sometimes they take a while and others are fast. You never can tell.....
Visiting NYC sounds awesome. My daughter went with chorus one time. She had a blast.
You found a fairy while making a post!
What did you decide to do, ?
And yeah, it was fun! We're a little less than three hours away (and from Philly!) but I've only been a handful of times. It was nice to be older this time, and not so terrified.. and with people willing to walk! We went for my 13th birthday, all I wanted to do was go to the museums.. not a single museum to be found. My stepdad at the time lived there during the week (He actually worked in the WTC). Anyway, we ended up doing a bunch of shopping at places I didn't want to be, and I never got to see a single cool thing I was interested in :P
Then when Elly was a baby, we had a foreign exchange student from Serbia living with us, and so my sisters in laws, my brother in law, my mother in law and I all went with them. All I remember from the trip was that we SAW the Rockettes, (but I don't remember any of it?!) and my SiL and I bought very soft, very bright colored scarves.
And then two years ago Lynne and I went on a girl scout trip with Elly and Akira. We saw the statue of liberty, Ellis Island, and a few other big things, which was cool!
This trip was great though! We went and had NYC bagels (SO GOOD OMG) for breakfast, then we went to see the Rockefeller Christmas Tree and the Saks 5th Ave windows, then we saw the Rockettes (Also OMG SO AMAZING.. I don't know how I'll ever forget this version!), then we hopped on a bus and explored a bit, saw Times Square, took Lily to the M&Ms store, took Lynne and Akira to Mood (they're obsessed with Project Runway) and then had dinner and Akira, Lily and I RAN to a bakery.. which ended up being a Japanese bakery. It was delicious though, when we ate everything the next day. And adorable!
Though I'm probably not going back before we take Emmy and Izzy when they're around 13 :P
Edit: We estimate you've spent about 337,417,203 on presents this year!
Well, that's a concerning number. WTF is that based on?! LOL
