I never cared for the pumpkin rolls from the store and no one I knew had made them from scratch so I think I'll stick to the pumpkin pie, which is cheap as hell after the holiday. I'm terrible at just eating the filling off the crust b/c no one else really cares for it. :P
Never watched the parade. Just not s/thing anyone I knew was really into. It's definitely s/thing I'd wanna see in person.
Gonna put up the Christmas stuff today. I had already started like a week or so ago and just got lazy b/c it meant more cleaning and organizing stuff. lol It's mostly been overcast or rainy so I'm in need of pretty things to look at.

We went and cut down our tree today. Katie came and got her cat....so we let her put the angel on, since she won't be here to decorate. I gave her her bag of special ornaments.....almost made me cry. I still haven't given Shane his.... Almost every year we have selected an ornament for each family memeber....and my plan has always been when they get thier own tree, to give them thier ornaments.....so now she has hers.
Random christmas stuff all over the place right now but hopefully by the end of the weekend it will be all tidy again lol
I loveeeee pumpkin rolls! I tried making them for the first time last year because I'd always been afraid because they looked so hard, but it wasn't bad, once I actually tried it. I think I made 12 last year.. and we ate them all :P
I still haven't put up any Christmas decorations, either. I need to do it but so much has to be cleaned, first.. it's just a whole project that I have zero enthusiasm about this year.
Nice! I'm.. not even close. :P
I need to play more but instead I um.. didn't.
It did snow this morning, though! And we went to church. We stayed at home while they did it in the parking lot, because I didn't want to have my car idle that long, and then on Halloween they went back inside again, but we've been busy every sunday since then. It was great to be back though, especially with all the advent and Christmas decorations up.
We're going to miss next week again though so.. there's that :P
Haha maybe. If you can focus on it!!!
that is an interesting fire-y avatar image you have chosen!!
Completed Charity!! No more fireside achievements to work on. New quest shop items tho. Back to questing I guess!
Oh and I completed another psych quiz. So that's 1 more plus the final there....and the combo last chapters/final for econ left to do. Plus some extra credit if I have time. Whew. Getting close to done!!
I have just over a 1000 for Charity, lol. That was my latest achievement and I don't feel like doing another 500 to get to the next one. Nice books for the prizes, tho.
Nice accomplishments, ladies! And thanks about my fire-y avatar, Kat. :P
Grabbed a couple more things from the CS. If they would've had Vanity items returned, I would be struggling.
Got the majority of my decorations up. Need to get to the store to see if they have the pink ornaments I saw last year. I do a white tree (and have ever since I got divorced) and while for most years I've done gold ornaments, a few years ago I started black and gold which looked pretty sharp and then last year I did blue to match my new living room color but it was kind of boring to me.

I have zero theme... except "this is what makes me happy". So mostly it's kid stuff, or like, I have ornaments from both my grandparents. And then I filled baubles with sand and shells from our beach vacations, and they always make me so happy. Or when I was little, I loved crystal.. still do, really. But my grandpa never bought anyone presents, he left that to my grandmother.. but one year he came home with this tiny little box all wrapped up, and inside was a lenox Ruldolph ornament. It's still one of my most prized possessions, because we used to watch it together and he saw it and thought of me and bought it.. and not even on sale, which is a.. what?! Who buys stuff full price? :P
And then ofc ornaments that the girls made, photo ones, etc etc. It's a mess.. but a happy mess!
Right now though, there's still only lights because.. Twitch.

I know most of you have probably seen this, since it's my new profile picture, but Taarna can use some annoying but super adorable cat :P
Arrrg I have to wait to see the pic until I either log off my work VPN or sign in on my phone b/c our VPN blocks certain sites. 😒 I love all kinds of trees and that one sounds wonderful! It's always interesting to see how people choose to decorate their trees.

It's not a looker, but it's got memories and happiness in it! And that's all that matters, I guess :P
Aww. Well, you'll get to see him later :P He'll still be there! haha
3,234 / 3,500 Well, I got the second book! That's good enough for me. So much clicking...
Edit: You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here!
That's why I didn't want to finish the Charity stuff. I'm honestly so tired of clicking around... it just puts me to sleep, lol. The memories and how the tree makes you feel is all that matters. If everyone's tree looked like something out of a home decor book, it would be awfully boring.

I mainly kept going to try and get enough books lol. That and I like getting achievements!! You have to be very click happy for this event for sure! Lol
My tree has sentimental style ornaments this year, meaning things the kids have made or that have been bought for each person. Some years I do colored glass balls, other times I mix the two. Depends on the size of our tree. Oh and I have fake candy canes lol because I got tired of the kids eating my nicely placed candy canes off the tree..... I like the look of the specific colored trees, but have never done one. Maybe when my kids are all grown, and I'm doing all the decorating.....
OMG cute kitty in the tree!!!! Mine like to lay under it but I did have a kitty that sat up on 2 branches so much that there was a space that was bent to his will. It was a notable gap, lol. Ah well... kitties.
Sometimes I've done candy canes as they're generally not eaten. I still have a cocoa setup I made last year and most of it remains untouched, lol. Too much sugar for me, even last year when I didn't limit myself. They have different flavored edible spoons you can use which was fun and yummy!

I have been unable to enjoy candy canes the last few years 😟 Also can't have hot cocoa very often. Milk and peppermint affect me and give an upset tummy. Used to love both so much. I would have loved to have flavored spoons for my hot cocoa!! Sounds yummy. I've seen them....

Good morning everyone! I only have my quiz and extra credit for the last chapter of psych...and then can study for final! Gonna try and do that tonight....(the quiz and ec) Then read my 2 chapters of econ and my notes for other chapters and take that test next (it's a combined last chapters andd final!!!) Then study notes for psych. Phew.
Eek I need to throw a lot of snowballs!!! 53/100(50,000)!!! And I need fairies!! 381/500 Fairy Catcher (they seem so rare to find!) 132/1000 Free the Fairies
TGIF... Can't believe it's already December.
Let's see, I've caught all the fairies.
Have 715/1000 of freeing them.
13,286/25,000 Snowballs.
I love throwing those funny snowballs and often crack up after I see them hit the target and can see the result.
Looks like you're finishing up the first round of classes, Kat! 🎆

Yes I am getting close!! Due dates are the 11th for econ and the 15th for psych to have finished everything including the finals. Trying to finish a little early if I can, or at least give myself some extra time to go over notes lol.
Wow you've thrown a lot of snowballs!!!!
And yes TGIF even tho I have a busy night and weekend. Nathan has caroling downtown with the chorus tonight. Tomorrow is boys youth group meeting, girls statewide Christmas party, and then mixed groups holiday formal (hosted by boys group). Sunday I have little girls youth group, we are making gingerbread houses. Saturday will be the lonnnng day. (Cuz shopping in the morning too).
Busy weekends are why I'm trying to get classwork done. Next weekend we have breakfast with Santa, followed by local girls youth group Christmas party, followed by wreath ceremony, making and delivering fruit baskets and wrapping presents for a family in need. And Sunday boys youth group is doing some sort of family in need activity too, I didn't catch what, so need to find out. Then it may be the weekend after that we may meet up with the inlaws, not sure yet.....it's being talked about. Love the holidays but it's sooo busy!
[Edit] 12-06 @ 748pm Well finally on the forum again. One busy weekend down. One to go. Took my last psych chapter quiz. Got a 100 on my first attempt!! 😯😁 Going to read and finish up with econ starting tomorrow.
