I have been meaning to read it for years and I will. In some Dresden Files group Side Jobs is mentioned to support theories. So I know it's a must read.

While he lives in Ghost Story, there are a lot of unforeseen consequences to the events of Changes. There's a time jump and Chicago is not doing well. So him living doesn't take away from the ending of the previous book.

Depending on the book, I like the author not pulling punches. But in others, cheesy romances, I don't want a sad ending.

i was relaxing thursday had an easy shift. Now i have vacation for about 10 days. Not everyone is vaccinated as some just don't want for various reasons. And as a i am vaccinated i still can get it from someone else. So mask up! The masks are not favorite to but if i can protect myself and others and ofcourse my residents i will wear it. But very sweaty and stuffy while working. We will never get rid of this virus seems like it. I hope next month will be better.

regarding fireside, i thought you had to toss items with "rreign" in their name into a bonfire. then if the dragon was happy with your offering he would gift you with something. he also gifted bad things if he didn't like your offering. has that changed? how does it work now?

- finished side jobs and the short stories in it go up to 1 hour after the end of changes. while the first few short stories were cute, the latter ones were chock full of background info and the last one bridged the gap between changes and ghost story. a lot will become clear when you read it. i'm on to ghost story now and find it interesting that the captain of in-between is murphy's dad. i'm really curious to see how he continues the story with the way he ended the last book. talk about a challenge. oh, and i agree. some stories should hold the punch, like the romances you like. romance just doesn't have room for unpulled punchs with the happily ever after endings they must have.

- yay! vacation time! what are you going to do with your 10 free days? i know the masks are hot and sweaty. i have trouble breathing in them because i have trouble breathing anyways. the masks just add to it. i find myself hooking a finger under the bottom of the mask just to let in some cool air. good thing i don't go out unless absolutely necessary. :) i have high hopes for fireside. i hope it goes better than morostide.

It still works that way. Bad offerings occur when you throw a wreathed item into the bonfire.

To get the items to throw into the bonfire, you either need to get lucky finding them floating on site pages or buy those items from user shops.

I feel that format reduces lag on the site, but we'll see.

I will have to check out Side Jobs in the future. Now for the ability to read everything I want at once O.O'

There are some good twists in Ghost Story. By the end it's obvious how the series will continue.

Yeah...when I sit down with a romance I want both spice and a happy story. Except in the case of a series. Then PLEASE don't have one book have a happy ending and the next the couple is broken up BECAUSE.

My Dad came down with COVID, survived, and yet still doesn't believe in wearing masks.

Good afternoon all. Been away all day yesterday for a postcrossing meeting on the other side of the country. I had a blast! Met new people, saw new places, write cards and had good food!

And now... still in my pj's. But clean ones as i had a shower.

Well, I went ahead, bought a new pet slot and adopted

But last night, I wrote a story for a completely different pet...that I haven't even created yet.

I looked up the possessed items and I Wishlisted a few. I might get one during BF sale, and hopefully get the others from trading or user shops. All are less than 10 million so it's doable.

I did manage to get a good chunk of Loveday's story written last night. Some elements in her story I'm gonna reference for another pet. I just need to get a minion for that pet as a representative of that idea.....

sorry for not responding quicker. i sprained my ankle spectacularly on friday. this is the first day the swelling has been down enough for me to hobble around on it.

- so the stuff you throw into the fire is obtained solely through clicking on items that randomly appear on a page as you browse the site? or can you throw things in the fire that you bought at (for example) the plushie parlor so long as it has "rreign" in the item's name? i seem to remember being able to throw plushies and beanbags i had restocked from the plushie parlour etc. into the fire . the only condition necessary for their immolation was the word "rreign" in their names. i will admit my memory is fried so i may be combining different aspects into an idea that only exists in my head. lol

- the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome. seems apt. ;)

- finished ghost story and am on to cold ddays. the only thing i have to say about ghost story is that it's the first book in millenia to actually make me cry. wary about cold days. it's the first book with harry as winter knight and i wonder how the author is going to pull everything together. sorry but your dad got covid and still doesn't mask up? that must have boosted his narcicism through the roof.

waves at all the KSrs Just popping in to say hello. I think I've lost the plot of life, at least mine, for the moment.

Got my vaccine booster today so it will be interesting to see what reaction I have compared to my 2nd shot. I wear a mask any time I'm out. It's not a huge deal and I get to use cute masks (have an autumn themed one atm with chickadees and leaves on it). I don't expect to spend a lot of time inside places that aren't home without one for the forseeable future. Might just make it a regular thing for Autumn and Winter when the flu is usually and everyone is often getting sick even beyond covid.

I've noticed some lag in loading general pages but forums seem to be okay for me.

and For Fireside you can only burn items with the phrase "red rreign" so Yes [item2=Red Rreign plushie]

No [Item2=field rreign plushie]

And if it a wreathed Red Rreign item you can get burned and your pet hurt, though that can give you cool items too. [Item2=Green Restored and Wreathed Red Rreign Plushie]

There are also pumpkin baked goods you can trade pumpkins from morostide to Fantine for and Charity at the Donation Center will give you cute items for food donated.

I will post more tips when it starts.

Still unwell. Working on crochet gifts for Christmas for family. Made dolls for the teens and kids now working on a crocodile stitch shawl for my mom.

Yeah, Dad is an odd one. Best part was that after he got Covid he overreacted to how Brian and myself wouldn't allow him to visit unless he had proof that he no longer had it. I had to get Brian to talk sense into him because I was about to start yelling if I didn't.

Oh, both me and Brian are high risk. Me because of asthma and him because of diabetes.

I found my booster to not be as extreme as the first two. Still got a sore arm and a low fever. But at least I was able to move my arm and didn't have to have a pants free day.
