Good morning everyone. Shame morostide is over, always love that event. Fireside is next if i am correct, so somewhere half this month.

We just had a press con. from our prime minister. We are going back to some covid standards.... and some more stuff. And mouth masks are back :( So probally christmas will be home bound again.

Hello, do you have room for one more? I'm looking for an active group on subeta, after coming back from a long time of inactivity. The group's I used to be in seem to have become much less active than they used to be.

1. Do you prefer to be called by your username or another name? Have you had any other usernames prior to this one? For now you can call me Lone

2. What are your interests on Subeta? (Human Avatars/Pets/Battle/Restocking etc. ) I like HA's and coding profiles for other people.

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the group? It depends on how busy my life gets. I'll probably be online at least once a week, and during events I'll be online much more than that.

4. Why are you interested in joining Kindred Spirits? Are you currently in any other groups? I'm looking for a social group in which I can get to know the other members. This is one of the things that really drew me in when I first joined subeta. I used to be active in a Dutch group, but almost all members seem to be inactive now. I'm also in ASP.

5. Tell us a bit about you! (This doesn't have to be lengthy or detailed you can save that for your introduction in the group! Think of this as an ice breaker question. ) My pronouns are she/her. I'm 36, work in IT and live in the Netherlands. I love to sing, play DnD, and meet with friends. I have a 5 year old son.

I haven't played DnD in ages. Used to play in college and was playing Pathfinder (I think) for a little bit. Basically some friends roped my husband into playing it and he wasn't all that interested so I got to play his character XD

- happy wednesday to you. i'm sorry your country is reverting to pandemic standards but you know (as a nurse) that they are doing it to help.even though we're all vaccinated we wear the face masks every time we go out because we don't trust the strangers around us to be virus free. yes, i'm paranoid bu it's kept us virus free and relatively healthy. i hope you get to go out for christmas. i hope the measures are lifted before then.as for my first morostide in 6 years, i was sorely disappointed at how it ended.

- i completely understand because i have a similar ex-parent. and omg. i just finished book 12 - changes. the title wasn't lying or beating around the bush, was it? when an author wants ttotal destruction it's quite amazing to read. did odin really advise harry to become thewinter knight or did i draw a faulty conclusion? even though butcher wrapped this one upwith a conclusion that could be the end of the series it didn't have the kind of impact it would have had if i'd read the book when it was first released. i went into it knowing there were more books afterwards and that took the sting out of the ending. i'm on to 12.5 side jobs but i don't think i'll find out how this plays out until book 13. oh, how i love this series. it is so much fun. thank you.

Thanks for the welcome! I used to play a lot in college as well, and hadn't played for ages until a group of friends wanted to play online during the lockdown. We're on our second campaign and I'm first time DM for this one

Odin might have. I'm reading Ghost Story (aka book 13) (kindle this time as my dad has the hardback version and I don't want to bother him for it). I remember being excited for it coming out. Think I got it in an airport.

I've never read Side Jobs yet. Might do so after this current re-read. Depending on whether or not I want to hop right into Dune afterwards.

There are some active roleplaying accounts on Twitter that tend to get more active when a new book is being released.

@- i don't have any hopes for black friday.the lure of half off goodies is going to draw a large crowd and the site will become as unplayable as it was on morostide. that said, i'm saving up all my csc on the way off chance it will work for a little bit and i'll be able to snag one or two of the goodies on sale. - you should read side jobs. it fills in some of the small but obvious gaps in between the series books. one of the stories explains what happened at billy and georgia's wedding which was eluded to in one of the books. can't remember which one now . darned memory.i love it when authors don't pull the punch. it makes the story more plausible.

- welcome! i used to play d and d when i was a lot younger. i graduated to world of darkness. fell in love with a world of darkness based game called vampire the masquerade: bloodlines. i always blayed a bruja but the malkavians were really fun if you can cut through the crazy.

I get that. Maybe it's a good thing I spend some of the CSC I saved up this year to buy a new pet slot. I still have a nice amount left over for some goodies on Black Friday.

I expected some lag, but not the many errors were ended up getting. I don't think we've had things like that occur for quite a few months this year. Fireside might be better though since you only get the items by random chance browsing the site.
