Had 2 days of training (yesterday and today) for the Works Council. Learned loads of my co-workers and got some info on how to do stuff to make our job better and easier. We had lunch yesterday and today, wich was very good. Dinner last night also very good, And this afternoon we had a creative afternoon to end on a good note. We made a plants terrarium. Never knew i was so creative, proud of myself. lol!

It might be because Psycho is an extremely atmospheric film with a very low body count. He just might not be scared by things like that.

Wes Craven died in 2015. I just tend to follow a lot of film fans so I found out about Craven's passing after logging into twitter one day. Or facebook.

Scream 5 is supposed to release early 2022. So I haven't heard any reviews of it yet.

Hi all! Glad to see you . :) Waves to everyone, and and Hope everyone is doing well. Had my 2nd eye surgery Oct 4th. Doing well, except having to use a magnifying glass on the pc. Glad my eyes are both far sighted now, but until I heal, can't get my script for new glasses. Much less nausea between one eye being near sighted and the other being far sighted, but the benefit was I could still see up close. Sigh. Never learned to type without looking, so this is really a chore. Hurts anyway because of the light, too. But the colors are gorgeous now. I didn't realize I was seeing them so dull until both parents said so after their cataract surgeries. The upside is I can watch TV now pretty easily, and read all the subtitles without glasses. Anyway, got to leave here now. Best wishes to all. <3

I think there was a short lived Scream tv series. Never kept up with it as I didn't have enough faith in it going to the small screen and I guess it didn't do well as not many people talked about it.

I learned to type without looking first year of high school. I was also the only freshman in the class as most students put the computer class off until they absolutely had to do it XD

Another apology from me for not being around much. Hoping by the end of the year that will change. It's been more a mental exhaustion issue than physical one. My mom is selling her house in NJ (my parents bought it 40 years ago) and she and I have been doing everything on our own since summer. We were here for a couple months in the summer and it took way too long and we had many issues (the no car for two weeks thing I think I mentioned at the time) to contend with but got it listed late August. We went back to Ohio for a few weeks to get that house organized to fit everything we are keeping from this house so the real estate agent did all the work here. First couple that walked through it offered and they are set to close on it this coming week. So, since we drove back it's been a lot of work for us. It's been really stressful on many fronts. Physically (my mom is 87 with health issues, I also have health issues), emotionally and mentally. It's been a lot. I've never been a part of moving a house . Any time my parents moved I was never a part of that so knew nothing about how any of it worked.

So, right now we're finishing up packing boxes. We have to pack for two places as some furniture and a couple boxes are heading to one of my brothers in a different state. Hope to be done by Sunday night so Monday and Tuesday will be finishing up any little details and things. Moving company comes on Wednesday and mom and I are out of here Thursday.

Sorry for the birthdays and anything I've missed. I try to speed read/glance at it all but have not had the energy to reply.

Thank you! I went to an actual typing class - really showing my age lol - and couldn't keep up. It was far easier for me back then to memorize whole paragraphs at a time and type it up. Of course then I had an amazing memory. I got very fast at it so stuck to that. Later I really regretted it when I lost so much memory of many things, and short term became awful. I really wished I had learned the proper way, because I needed it through my whole job life and of course now. It would have been so much easier and faster. :)

Thanks! No apologies needed. OMG I don't even know how many times in my life I've moved. It is a HUGE ordeal, esp as the older you get, the more stuff you have to deal with. And the way you are having to do it, with all the emotions and health issues, makes everything so much harder. I don't envy you at all! But congrats it sold so quickly.

I can understand why you haven't been active on here. I remember moving into my current house and...yeah...didn't leave much room for anything but getting ready to move into a new house.

I dated someone who was more than proud to have perfected the hunt and peck technique.

- a free weekend to recharge your batteries is awesome. i remember hearing something about a scream tv show but never looked into it as the movie franchise went from good to ridiculous. i didn't think the tv show would be worth it.

- i'm half way through fool moon and the one thing i've noticed is that people love to beat on him for no good reason and he lets them. he always rationalizes it away when they shouldn't have hit him regardless of the reason. i do find the author's characterization of werewolves amusing, too. when did you see stephen king in a grocery store? you mean he's mortal and needs to eat like the rest of us?

I used to live in Nokomis, Florida and he would shop in the local Publix. He has a home in Casey Key that is close by.
