I humbly take your place as the newbie, lol. Yay, another trekkie! Who's your favorite character? And Tom Hiddleston, the guy who plays Loki in the movies, plays him in the show. It's produced by the Marvel people! It's really good! I think some of the upcoming movies are affected by the events in the show, which is cool, because from what I understand they disregarded the plot of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. tv show when making the movies (haven't seen that one though).

Oof, did you only have 1 day off? I could not stand that when my boyfriend worked in retail, him having random days off in the week while I had the weekend off. It made it difficult to do anything. Going back to work after days off is the worst though. Working is the worst actually. Lol.

Having four birds is a handful at times. The cockatiels (Navi and Jorah) and the parakeets (Peep and Ghost) aren't kept together as different breeds shouldn't be put together. While they are friendly towards each other, we don't allow them out at the same time as we're unsure if they'll play nicely. Jorah is really the only calm one that might play nice. While Peep just likes to start things, Ghost thinks she's bigger than she is, and Navi likes to act like she's in charge.

Navi and Jorah sleep in different cages as she started plucking herself and stopped once he slept in a different cage.

Then there is the fact both breeds have to eat different food.

I wouldn't get rid of them for the world.

Birds are extremely unique as if they don't like you, they won't even pretend. Parakeets can die by heart attack every time you pick them up and you can decrease the chances of that happening by making them more hand friendly. So you have to slowly build up trust with them.

Peep is the most hand friendly bird I currently have. When I have to grab him to put him back in his cage, he'll put on a show of resisting but once I get him he'll be calm as can be XD

- my fav is spock. i taught my self the vulcan hand sign that goes with the "live long and prosper" saying when i was 5. i've seen everything up to deep space 9. i hated that show and stopped paying attention to any tv shows that came out after it. i'll be honest, i haven't watched tv in a long, long time. which is why i didn't know about the loki show. i caught agents of shield on netflix and it was so good. shame they ignored it when writing the newest movies. - it was me pinging you. i hope the forums are working for you today. i wanted to let you know i have an orange pirate bandana and a ship in a bottle up for grabs. not much but if you want it let me know.
- if you let your birds fly around in the house, isn't it hard to catch them? don't they fly up onto the curtain rods or other high spots? how do you get them down?

I work with digital artists and they put my ideas into subeta style. I can draw decently but I have trouble with subeta style shading and digital drawing can be literally shaky for me. I have multiple chronic illnesses and get the shakes at times, especially if I concentrate hard on something.

I know Joss Whedon didn't consider Shield canon to the movies because he felt that bringing Coulson back cheapened his death in Avengers. I'm disappointed it's been ignored, though. I haven't watched the final season yet but will probably do a rewatch of the series to catch up finally XD

Still need to watch the final seasons of Jessica Jones and Daredevil on Netflix. I am afraid to finish them because then that means I have no future episodes to look forward to XD

Currently watching Squid Game on Netflix. It's a Korean horror show.

Ease of catching the birds can change depending on day, time, and bird. Most of the time they stay around their cages and just give a few laps around the living room/kitchen. Though that sometimes changes like Jorah's infamous crashes XD

Peep will pretend to put up a fight when you go to pick him up but is easy to get in the cage as he finds it a fun game. Ghost is the same way. Jorah gets in easily on a ladder (small one made for birds) as long as you put him in his night cage at night and in Navi's cage during the day. You can just tell Navi to "go home" and she goes inside or she notices it's time to go in and goes in on her own.

Well the forums are working again for me. Subeta was so horrible slow. Nothing was loading so i gave up.

i work as a nurse in a nursing home for the elderly. I don't know better then working weird hours a day/evening/night, weekends and holidays. I sometimes just have 1 day off sometimes more. 1 day off i find hard, have to do loads of stuff in that day and relax, i live alone with my 2 cats (meez & mooz). Some of my ex boyfriends did not like my hours, single for a long while now.

oh how you feel better soon hives are horrible and my sister has eczema to. I can understand how you feel.

Anyway happy friday all. Weekend here and next week i am off. I had hours and thought why not in my birthday week (28-9) so did that. Having 9,5 days off, nice!

- i hope you feel better soon. hives and ecxema isn't fun. - i had no idea. i did think his return from the dead a little weird but it was handled so deftly if one did not already know he was supposed to be dead one would have never known. you should finish the show. it was ended rather skillfully dwith joss whedon's stamp all over it. lol i haven't watched any of the other shows as i've been concentrating on my phenomenal book list. somehow i'm not sure i'll like daredevil for obvious reasons. lol as for birds, i can see it now... i'll get some and at first they'll be docile and fun. then one dark night they'll go crazy and it'll turn into alfred hitchcock's the birds. yeah, i don't do well with animals.

Yeah, Daredevil XD

My two favorite shows/seasons of the Marvel shows I've watched so far are Jessica Jones Season 1 followed closely by The Punisher Season 1. The Punisher is first introduced in Daredevil Season 2 and the first season is sort of a continuation on where he ended up in that show. Got my husband to watch Daredevil Season 2 because of that XD

I would recommend skipping both seasons of Iron Fist UNLESS you are planning on watching The Defenders (which is basically The Avengers for the Netflix Marvel shows) in which case you have to suffer Iron Fist Season 1. At least you won't have to suffer the poor lighting in the show!

I am watching Downton Abbey & Chicago Fire at the moment. Love them! I am up to date with Med and PD but Fire they just not aired them all and i missed a few episodes here and there. At season 4 now.

How is Downton Abbey? I know it was a big things a few years ago.

- sounds like i've got a lot of marvel shows to catch up on. i'm a continuity snob, i have to read or watch everything in chronological order (regardless of when it was ppublished or aird). if isee something out of order it messes with my understanding of plot, etc. so i'll end up watching the ill lighted iron fist. did you see green arrow? talk about lighting and set issues. i stopped watching during season 4 cause the emo-ness was just too much. don't now when i'll be able to see loki as we don't have disssney plus. ah well, it'll get done when it gets done. lol - he sure is. i'm getting a bunch of retired stuff that's filling in gaps from keelholidays i've missed. happy saturday to you. :D - i've got a confession to make. my husband helped me with my ha contest entries. i just want it to be clear that they were a collaborative effort.:)

There's luckily a few articles that put the Marvel Netflix shows in chronological order that I used to watch all but Punisher Season 2. Brian and I watched it together so I couldn't watch it in the correct chronological order. Punisher was really the only Marvel Netflix show he was interested in due to the violence and we both like the actor who plays The Punisher on Netflix. Jon Berthnal was the perfect fit for the character. At least to my non-comic book fan mind.

With book series I prefer reading chronological and not published order.

Edit: Forgot to mention Green Arrow. I haven't watched the show but I've been recommended it before so it's on my long 'to watch list'.

That sucks about the fire. A month or so ago a construction company decided to burn trees to make way for a new apartment complex (I think that's what it's for). As the fire was basically right across the street all the smoke did me nor the birds any favors. Didn't think that was ever going to end.

Would you happen to have extras of that Dory sticker? I'm a huge Dory fan, so that's the main thing I want and I've yet to see it pop up anywhere

i started watching it last year when we here where in lockdown. It was on tv and as there was nothing else on tv i started it. Loved it from the start. Bought the dvd + movie for my birthday so i can watch it whenever i want. -points at profile-

- thanks.i'm glad you're feeling better. sorry you're suffering from all the smoke. aside from getting another air cleaner is there anything else you can do? - i don't have that problem here as both my guys are marvel fans. if it has marvel on it, they'll watch it. i'll look up one of those chronological lists when i start watching. now, why in the world would they burn down a lot full of trees to make way for a building site? one would think it would be easier to clear cut it. then there would be timber to sell and a whole lot less air pollution. now they've got burnt out trees to bulldoze and a pissed off neighborhood to deal with. that won't help them sell/rent the units they're building. - i was wondering about downton abbey.i love brit tv shows but have never watched that one. do you watch other brit shows? i love midsomer murders and shameless. i've watched the 20 plus seasons of midsomer murders so many times my hubby can tell which one is on just by hearing a few words of dialogue. lolhappy sunday to you.
