This pet made my day. I love all the well researched info you have there, all the useful guides you linked, the nice heartwarming story, and most of all the section about supporting kill shelters. I work in communication for the biggest animal shelter in my city. We’re a municipal shelter and legally HAVE to be open intake. We have 15 000 animals intakes a year. We’re considered a ‘kill shelter’ because people will regularly come and bring their dying companion animals to us. They don’t have money for vets or euthanasia or to keep up the care needed for their companion. It’s heartbreaking. People don’t realize that being a ‘kill shelter’ doesn’t mean we willingly kill animals. When you’re open intakes it’s impossible to meet the no-kill criteria. You explained all of this so well, in such a compassionate way. Thank you for that.

Anyways sorry for the rambling, It just really warms my heart as a shelter worker to see a pet like this!

Oh my gosh, that means a lot to me. I wasn't sure anyone who even connected with it would see her profile but it means so much to me that I wanted to include it. I have my own welfare and behavior company (I mean it's just me but legally it's a company lol) and I work closely with several shelters and rescues (I was at a humane society before starting my business). I will advocate tooth and nail for these organizations and their teams till my dying day because what you all do (in any organization like that but especially open intake) is SO heavy and important and exhausting and wonderful and hard to fully comprehend if you haven't been there.

It depends on how much and where you edit. If you add to the TC they don't care, but sometimes they do if its changes to the code. I've had it where if it was just a very small change, it was okay, but any more and it was denied. It takes seven days to re-nominate.

the only thing for fascinate I'd say is giving a blurb for the friend Errr. Maybe something like "it's nice having a new friend". Other than that I think it's really well done!

I like that skeleton gif, the story is a tale of something itself. Glowstick liquid. Never figured that toxic sludge would be enticing to shoot up. freaky. Great story, very visual. My only suggestion, Aesthetically only add one more TC item to square off the block.

Was able to find something that fit the bill for the TC! A bit of an expensive something, but no bother.

Yeah there's actually an old tweet floating around of a guy who did that, but I figured it was too graphic to include. There's no blood, just a dude with a needle in his arm and illuminated veins. It's freaky.

I could be wrong lol, I only know how to play with templates, but would it be that you need to adjust the tab placement (the "top" value)?

It's possible that the padding may be messing with it. I had a similar issue with my coding, so I just deleted it. This is the code I use for my pets (this is a down tab; I also don't understand up tabs lol):
