why thank you. It was a contest ha so I thought I'd wear it :)
LMAO
I take it you got your Jab today based on the ha?
hopefully it'll be worth the wait :D I've cut 3 tote bags (and have 2 left to make), three zippered bags (got 3 to make), one drawstring bag, 2 notebook covers (one more to make) all of the same outside fabric. It just is cheaper to just list 3 ready even though I actually only have one. But we think my sister in law might buy some of these for my niece for her school days 😊 and maybe my nephew. [edit] just finished the drawstring bag :)
or if they haven't moved and you need to walk past them, casually nudge their bag with your elbow as you try passing them - it soon makes them move ;) (obviously I haven't done that since the pandemic :P)
I didn't realise it wasn't something that was played over there - it's kind of like basketball, but you're not allowed to move with the ball so there's a lot of passing between players ;)
it definitely was worth using that one today ;)
nods we were told they'd come "between 10am and 4pm" but thankfully they phoned 10 minutes before they got here, and also came quite early in the time slot, so we weren't waiting all day for them to show up ;) The person who did the jab today works as a school nurse - she was the sex ed teacher at my old school apparently (not long after I'd left, considering that it was still the same headteacher)

thanks :)
Oh cool :) Huh small world. Hopefully you don't have many side affects! <3 I finished the draw string bag now so just one zippered bag left to have them all on the site. LOL and then to make the rest of them -snickers-
and today's is even more stunning - all those shades of charcoal and black work really well, and the background (plus the sparklies :P) is perfect! :D
nods I didn't have a clue why she was asking what school I'd gone to - it seemed a really weird conversation starter ;) but it all made sense when she said she'd worked there ;)
Yay on the drawstring bag :D Hopefully the zippered one wasn't too challenging to get sorted :)

Sounds like we have used the same tricks before. 😆 Been a while since I have been to a big concert as well, of course. :)
That sounds like an interesting take on basketball. :) Do you get to move when you don't have the ball?
Already making the most out of your new sewing machine I see. Have not really had the motivation for crafting here, but it will come back eventually. Just got home from another fun appointment, so I am likely going to be a useless couch potato today. :P

I've never been to a concert :P
nods you can move at any time unless you're holding the ball, although you're meant to stick to your area (although we didn't always have enough players, so sometimes we were allowed a bigger area to cover) ;)

why thank you. this ha toook AGES to make but I'm pleased with the results. lol Maybe she remembered you :D Niamh looks fantastic today. THat jumper is adorable :D I'm still unpicking it lol.
yep gotta try to make sales :D
-snugs- I'm sure you will.
Sounds like a good plan :D
It looks like it was worth all the time though ;) Definitely make sure you've saved that one ;)
hehe well I certainly hadn't been in any of her lessons, put it that way :P (our sex ed lessons were done by the Chemistry teacher for some reason o.O)
Thanks :d I thought about doing a really summery look, but our weather still wants to believe it's autumn, hence the jumper :P
Ah, so not quite so much of a success on the zippered one then ;) I guess at least the zipper pull hasn't snapped (that's why I stopped making the zipped wallets I'd started 😊)

aww thank you :)
lol well I guess chemistry can be involved
hehe I'd like it to be cooler out here.
No, It had gone horribly wrong and I don't even know how. I made this one just now though... Still need to unpick the other one but hey at least I've got one. It's currently in the wash. I found the wolf fabric I was looking for so now to go and see if it's big enough for any of my ideas.
that chemistry teacher was better suited to actual chemistry though :P oddly enough, we had a biology teacher, but we only seemed to learn plant biology with her o.O
tries to bottle some of our grey clouds & northerly wind
That's never helpful when it all goes wrong and you can't work out how! Is it likely to be salvageable when it's unpicked?

go figure. that's really weird o.0 lol just no rain. Yeah not sure what went wrong but it went from being sewn straight to curved and both sides had fabric over the zipper itself so not workable. I'm pretty sure it's something I can redo though. I got the zippered bag done, a wolf notebook cover and wolf totebag. I also had a bunch of errands and had to take a nap as I was flatout!
You always seem to be working on something. :) My mum and nephew both left. Had a really nice day. :)
I do miss concerts.. even tho they can be very crowded and loud. :P
Sounds like it would less chaotic than regular basketball with a bunch of kids. :) I sure don't miss those classes. :P

and let's not forget the physics teacher who hated first year students :P (he preferred teaching the older students as they could study more interesting things)
I can do that - we didn't get any rain yesterday :P
Now that is definitely annoying, especially when both sides of the fabric get caught up like that! :K But that's fantastic on getting the bags & notebook cover done :D :D
I bet when you get home your ears still feel like they're thumping along to the music? ;)
I hated basketball, as I always seemed to lose track of the ball between the other players' hands and myself! It didn't help that Mum told me I had to take my glasses off for sports (just in case the ball hit me in the face.... which it never did!), so of course everything was a bit too fuzzy to start with :P

well I'm needing to do it for work but yeah keeping busy is keeping me from climbing the walls with boredom. Oh what did you do? Pre-thank you for the parcel that arrived the other day! -snuggles-
HAHA Good good. We've gotten plenty. yeah and no idea how that happened o.0 yeah I'm glad to have more completed :D
Dad's still hoping we can get some rain overnight so he doesn't have to water the allotment :P
It sounds like one of those things that if you tried to make it end up like that on purpose, you wouldn't actually be able to achieve it! Hopefully that'll be the only one to go quite so wrong though ;)

lol my dad loves not having to water the garden lol. So your dad isn't alone :P HAHA yeah exactly. Today I was lazy so I needa probably make a few things tomorrow XD
True. :) Wouldn't want you clawing at the wals. :P We went down to the marina, had some pizza and ice cream. :) He asked if he could stay over sometime, which I of course agreed to. He wants to play minecraft with his auntie. Bless. :) You are very welcome! snugs
Pretty much. :) And takes a bit of time for your mind to calm down so to speak.
Not being able to see properly sure doesn't help when the ball is flying around. For me it was trying to even get the ball with most being a lot taller. :P

He told me he only was going to show me how to do 5 things, no more or no less when it comes to how to play the game. lol Kids are funny. Guess I am going to have to buy the game now. :P

oooo I love the outfit today :D That mystical looking background sets it off perfectly :D
I think it's also that the water troughs aren't all that close to the allotment plot (although some of the plots have a little further to go to get water), so there's a lot of walking back and forth to get the watering done :P
Well in that case, I'll hand over a bag of sewing luck that I found under a pile of dust bunnies in the corner of the room - it should still work as long as there's no rogue bunnies left in there :P
you'd think though with the size of a basketball that I'd get on better, but I think the action was just too fast for me to keep up with ;) I quite liked not actually getting the ball (seeing as I usually missed whenever I tried getting it in the hoop!), so I wasn't too fussed when the taller students ended up with it 😇
