The only game I liked playing was tennis, and that was mostly because there were only 4 of us who played tennis regularly in our year group, so we had full use of the two tennis courts (there were five courts for the younger students, but these two were specifically for the sixth form and one year below them) ;) We wouldn't bother with proper rules or scoring though, mostly it was just having fun :P

I have only tried tennis a couple of times, but it sure seems like a sport that will give you a real workout! One place we stayed at in Spain, had tennis courts we could use so we ended up buying a couple of cheap tennis rackets. :)

It was mostly a fail for me. lol Except lucking out with a descent serve once in a while. :P

Its a really great series but I like this one a hecka lot. Stilly Symphonia is my favourite but that's probably because it was my first one lol.

I could never get the hang of doubles tennis, but regular tennis was fun as long as I wasn't up against someone who was really skilled laughs That sounds like it was a great place in Spain! :D

I am absolutely covered in bits of fake fur, but I've got half of my next project made for that fabric website.... the fur was thinner than I'd anticipated, so I'm going to make another one this size rather than making a couple of smaller ones to go with him - I don't think I have the patience for small fiddly sewing on this fabric! 😊

hehe well I guess at least its over with? Oh that looks so cute and love that it looks like he's sewing.

I've still got another bear to make though, and given that I ended up having to use sticky tape to get the fur off my bed (the bed is behind my sewing table) I think the second one will probably make just as much mess :P I only had one seam that needed redoing, which is better than most of the other bears I've made from the same pattern! I might try zigzagging the neck seam on the next one, just to see if that helps it feel a bit stronger ;)

At the moment that first bear is 99% finished - the seam in his back is held with wonder clips to stop the stuffing falling out :P but I always like to leave it a day or two before sewing up, as it helps to make sure they're stuffed enough ;)

I couldn't resist turning the machine around for that photo - when I've got the next pieces cut out, I might see if I can get a photo that looks like the bear is sewing the next one 😇

nods The body and head are sewn together (almost) flat before the back seam is done, so in theory it shouldn't make much difference on the bulkiness of the seam, but I'm not too sure!

It works a load better than having to use the dining table ;) I was even able to cut out the furry fabric on my table, which meant there was only one lot of carpet to hoover the fluff out of, rather than Mum complaining that the living room carpet was also messy :P If I want to be really picky, I could do with an extra little shelf to the side so I can put the tablet there with the pattern instructions on, but at the moment I just have that on the bed behind me ;)

I'd anticipated my skin not being overly happy, as I'd used more liquid soap this week than I'd normally do (I save that for "extra dirty" hand washes like if I've done gardening or anything, but if I use it too often / use too much of it then my skin reacts), but it's still really irritating! 😊

hehe she insisted on still having the same background / foreground items, but wanted a fresh outfit to go with it :P
