when the buyer had a survey done on their house, it was described as being "stuck together" .... all we could think was that it was originally just the front section, and the back room (and after that, the kitchen) was added on at a later date. It's a typical English cottage in that the doorways are designed for someone shorter than 6 feet tall, so most visitors had to be told to mind their heads as they stepped down into the main room :P
to be fair, Mum likes to wrap things up like that - I also hid her card in the notebook I'd wrapped :P
laughs I thought Blade had disappeared - he's been way too quiet :P I couldn't resist getting that outfit, and Niamh wanted to do some gardening ;) Our weather today would be a bit chilly to wear that outside though :P

that's great then lol. Cute :D
Well I haven't really had much reason to use him lol at least that's my excuse.
Dad's got used to my quirky way of wrapping things - I gave him three pairs of socks and some bubble baths (plus an IOU for the pouch-bag-thing I need to make) for father's day, and put one individual sock in with each item.... and he was able to guess not only what the socks were, but also the type of bubble bath (even down to the colour) :K I think I need to be more inventive at wrapping things when it comes to his birthday 😇
Niamh says that's no excuse :P She's put out that she's not had her hunky Blade to admire 😇

haha. We normally put things inside of boxes... and sometimes inside of boxes inside of boxes :P Was he happy?
hehe well er, I'll try to do an HA. She's welcome to send something along for him to wear :D
That has a certain charm to it as well. :) At least being shorter means you wont have to worry about having to mind our head. lol
Yup! Apparantly I own both, I checked. lol My backlog of games to play is ridiculously long. :P The flea market was a let down, not many people selling things there, but we had a nice meal and I got myself a hot chocolate with cream.

laughs well I ran out of boxes :P I normally use a lot of those polystyrene packing chips just to make it more annoying to try and find anything in there 😇
Niamh says how about a (she's just finding a "sensible" suggestion) :P
we could tell when Grandad started losing height with age, as he didn't need to duck as he went down the stairs :P

awesome :) lol guess ya will needa play them aww I'm sorry. But the drink sounds good :)
that's more like it :D -miss reads as french maid- Blade is grumpy and wants to know why his gf dressed him like this
ROFLMAO there's definitely nothing I can say to that :P :P :P
Niamh did send over a "sensible" suggestion item, but she's too busy laughing to reply at the moment! 😇

he's still not overly impressed. He thinks now he's going to be mistaken for a bird or something
goes and changes irritated at his gf laughing
It is weird how people get shorter as they get older. :) I don't feel like I got that many cms to loose. 👼
That is the plan. lol I can't wait for breath of the wild 2 (next year) and Skyward Sword this summer. o-o nods Good food/drinks and company. Not going to complain. Sorted more of my clothes to get donated etc. My closet is looking so empty now compared to what I am used to.

Niamh think he looks super stylish.... she would've said more, but she was lost in a dream, staring at his pecs :P
My Great Gran would always say my Mum had grown when she came to visit.... obviously Great Gran was shrinking, but she either didn't realise she was, or just didn't want to accept it! My other Gran hated standing side-by-side with my cousins, as they were all considerably taller than her to start with :P

I definitely am looking forward to Skyward Sword myself.
cant ask for more :) awesome!
LOL you now have an excuse to buy more :)
lmao. Blade waves his hand over her eyes to get her attention. "You seem to be drooling."
oooo that's a pretty HA today :D
Niamh blinks a few times, "erm sorry, what was that you said?"

That is sweet. :) Some of my nieces and nephews are starting to get taller than I am already! Makes me feel a bit old. lol
I have never been as excited as I was for the skyward sword announcement. For a decade I had wished to be able to play it with buttons controls. So when they mentioned that I was jumping in my couch basically. lol True.. and I have bought some already. lol

I hate walking past the primary schools when they're heading back home - some of the 10 year olds are as tall as (or even taller) than me o.O
Being short does have an advantage though - a few years ago I wanted to get to one of the aisles in the supermarket, and there was a group of university students standing looking at something on one of the displays, blocking the aisle completely. They were all taller than me, so I just got really close behind them and said quite loudly "excuse me" - they all jumped (they clearly hadn't spotted me), three moved and two apologised 😇

What I have hated the most is being at a concert and standing behind a bunch of people that is much taller than me and not seeing anything. :P
That is funny.. :D I loved it when we played land hockey, and I could easily weave in between the other people. lol

that's never much help - I found that ducking between elbows meant I could get closer to the front, but you have to be very aware when people move! :P
laughs I can imagine you were one of the star players? ;)

Hehe, you risk people getting mad that you are cutting in front of them, but yes I have done the same. 👼
I wouldn't say star player, but it was a lot more fun than the usual volleyball or basketball our teachers loved having us play. :P

that's true :P I've only ever tried that at a couple of events in town, where the taller people got a good enough view, but all I could see was the crowd unless I sneaked forwards ;) I figured if they didn't want me getting to the front (or at least close enough to see), they shouldn't have left suitable gaps 😇
We never played volleyball, but basketball and netball were the usual 'torture' .... I mean games we had to play :P I usually was a wing player for netball, as that meant I didn't have to do much 😇
