I think we've got it sorted for Grandad's scan appointment next week now - Mum's asked a family friend who lives near Gran & Grandad if she'd be able to pop in to keep Gran company while Grandad's out, and by the sound of it, that friend is able to do that :D

it's certainly keeping all your different characters happy... or maybe just the one, seeing as some of them haven't been seen in a little while :P

:d and yeah, I hadn't started using it until recently, but it's so much easier than trying to hold the threads on the machine's reel holder! (I use Moon thread mostly, and the reels for those are a tiny bit too long to fit on my machine without sliding off :K The old machine had a second holder that was upright, which worked really well.... this machine has an angled second holder, so it has the same problem) ;)

The bread baking was successful. pats myself on the back Having my kitchen machine makes it a lot easier. :)

I like that I still have my first, even though I don't use it for that many things anymore. :)

With one of my old email accounts, I was able to set it up to forward emails to my new address, so I still have it, but I can't send out email from it any more ;)

Thanks :D Hopefully Grandad will like the bear - and it just so happens that it's ketchup coloured, so it shouldn't be a problem if the bear sits near their table (Grandad struggles getting the ketchup out of the bottle, and at the moment it's so hot that the ketchup just goes everywhere when he tries putting some on the plate! Last week it was all over the carpet o.O ) ;)

YAY -nods- and there's nothing like fresh bread :) Dad and I went to Athens (about a 2 1/2 hour) trip North for his doc apt todasy. Then adding another hour on the way home to go through ATL and pick up British foods. Easier to manage than an extra trip. LOL dad hated I was right but didn't want to do another trip in two weeks and we were almost out of Cumberland bangers.

You have place called Athens over there? That is awesome. lol I have no idea what Cumberland bangers are, but I am glad you were able to pick up some british foods. :) Errands for me today and I had an appointment for treatment for burst blood vessels on my nose and shin. :)

I have it set up so that all my emails goes into my gmail folder. Much easier. And I got a very secret one for neo, since I am paranoid. lol That I don't use for anything else.

I am sure he will love it. Such a sweet thing to do for him. :) That sounds like me if I try to get ketchup out of a glass bottle. :P I prefer ketchup that comes in a softer plastic bottle. lol Hope the stains on their carpet was not too bad?

I should think a lot of them (especially Sorn) are feeling left out, with Jhal getting all the attention.... and all the new clothes! :P Jhal does suit all these outfits though ;)

I've not tried it yet with a large cone of thread (the cones of thread are sitting in the back of the cupboard, and I'm not adventurous enough to try pulling all that out to get to it!), but it certainly works well with the regular threads :D

Grandad always used to ask for the plastic squeezy bottles, but over the winter he wanted glass bottles as I think he was finding it hard to squeeze the plastic ones hard enough to get the ketchup out! Mum's managed to get the stains out thankfully.... it's just a huge disadvantage that the carpet is a really pale cream colour, so it shows every single mark! :P

And of course 2 step verification. :) Hate that there are people out there that just want to ruin the fun for everyone else.

Might be able to find a container for it that is easier to squeeze? Not sure how easy it would be to find tho. That is good that she was at least able to get the stains out. :) I could never have a cream coloured carpet, it would not stay pristine long here. lol

I suggested he at least put the bottle in the fridge, as it might help the ketchup to not be quite so runny in the hot weather ;) Unfortunately it's a standard carpet that all the flats have, as if we were picking it would've at least been patterned so any marks don't show up quite so much :P

Today's looks especially stunning - those blacks & purples really work well for Jhal :D Awesome! I'll have to dig those at eventually and make the most of using them ;)
