whoa, that's another awesome HA (and another new character??) It doesn't help that the pupils and nostrils are so tiny on that frog to get them stitched in place :K but once I've done that and got the topstitching done for the fingers & toes, the rest shouldn't be too terrible (I hope!!)

:) Why thank you. I am loving this new "skin" lol. I've got a pounding headache and need to go to the post office and Home depot today. two of the brackets holding a shelf broke and I need to find a replacement which is impossible to do via online. Dad thankfully has offered to be my driver.

the cards are proving interesting to try finding different cartoon characters to draw on each :P I've done Winnie the Pooh, Yogi Bear, Spot (the cat from Hong Kong Phooey) and El Kabong (Quik Draw McGraw) - I just need to get a couple of the details coloured, then they're finished ;)

about the same here. lol. I made some zipper bags for my shop and then went to Petsmart, cleaned the cat box, swept and mopped my bathroom, showered. my feet hurt and I'm tired. Been up since 7

I couldn't resist using those cats laughs I think Niamh's trying to catch some fish for them, but she isn't getting on too well (she's not yet learnt a spell to catch them any easier :P)

Well I will admit I only saw Hong Kong Phooey for the first time when we got Sky tv - it's a 70s cartoon I think :P Spot is Mum's favourite character from there.... probably because the cat is actually striped ;) The hardest one to draw was El Kabong, mostly because I've not tried drawing a guitar before :P

Busy Raven! Collecting shinies. lol Went into town today to look for nicer looking sandals to use with my new skirt and dress.. no luck. My feet are so difficult when it comes to more dressy shoes. *sighs' No wonder I live in sneakers. lol Had a really delicious lunch at a turkish restaurant.

Nope, I haven't had a chance to get any further with that one. I'm putting it on hold until after Grandad has his scan at the hospital (that's in a couple of weeks time), as I'm hoping after that, Mum will be able to focus on sorting out the washing machine without any other distractions!

I guess I won't be busy with work for a few days though: My machine broke. I've done everything you're supposed to do. I've cleaned it, I've removed the needle, put it back in, cleaned again...but I can't get it to work. I noticed last week I had a strange sound from it. Yesterday it was working fine 0.0 But today nope. It keeps cutting the upper thread and refuses to do anything except complain. And I can't find anywhere locally that services sewing machines so... time for a new one. BUT guess what? My old machine has been discontinued and the new one it replaces is $500...without tax and shipping. So it'll be $676 for this machine to get here by Saturday. I suppose until then I'll have to do other things.
