it can come in handy at times! And generally, children's shoes are made to be more supportive than women's ones (that tend to be more for show rather than for being comfy & beneficial for my feet!) ;)

It's quite eerie here - the last few days there's hardly been anyone outside in the street other than a couple of kids playing hide and seek. It's a bit like when we had snow the other year, and nobody could get out... just without the snow :P

I imagine. many places are looking like a ghost town. It's hard to not panic when you read/watch news reports as well. nice use of the new bg :)

although there's apparently too many people going to certain national parks at the moment - it's almost like now a lot of businesses and schools are temporarily closed, people think they might as well go to the beach or other holiday destinations o.O I've been trying to avoid any news reports, although I can come across news on twitter and instagram even though I'm not looking for that specifically!

I've never found any really cool looking ones that fit my odd feet laughs but I never was overly fussed about what they looked like as long as they were comfy :P

That is weird. the link works for me. o_O The tiles are small squares with two different shades of grey, black and white. :) Not sure if that is the one you saw. But probably is, if you added it into your search bar. :D

yeah, I know some could be people with a second home in that area, but apparently lots of camper vans and caravans were arriving in some areas over the last few days, so some just seem to be taking advantage of a potential holiday o.O And there's probably those who still do the exact opposite of what we're told to do, just because they resent being told by the government ;) It's surprising how easy it is to get sucked into keeping checking back to see what the news says.... but then a lot of the time, its the same stuff repeated every 10 minutes or so, and there's not necessarily anything new more than once a day anyway.

I found I was doing the same when we had snow forecast the other year - the media were hyping everything up and in my head it was all getting out of proportion. I've gone back to doing some drawing this year, and that's been quite a good reason to not be next to the computer / looking at social media all day long ;) I managed to draw one of my Anyu pets at long last, but I haven't tried making a digital version that I could use as an overlay yet :P

I seem to have spent all day doing absolutely nothing - Mum wanted me to do something on the computer for her, then I realised I still had all the tabs open in my browser form this morning where I just hadn't got as far as dealing with any of it o.O 😊 sits and admires your HA :D

I can imagine it'll make the whole kitchen look totally different :d We could do with getting our kitchen redone, but I'm pleased we've not got that planned any time soon at the moment ;)

That is the perk of owning rather than renting a place. You get to do stuff like this. :) Kitchen renovations can be very expensive and labour intensive after all if you go all out. ;)

yeah, I did try entering a competition to win a kitchen makeover laughs I think Mum said the kitchen was last done in 1982 or 1983 so it's probably long overdue for a facelift 😊
