apart from when they really annoy him of course ;) I don't think they're necessarily painful. but they do seem to be an irritant some of the time (he'll rub that side of his face on every toy he has in the cage, and sometimes ends up making the skin bleed). But thankfully he enjoys having a spray bottle shower, so that can help to stop them being so annoying for him ;)

Yeah, its the same here. No hand sanitizers to be found anywhere. I do have one small bottle that I bought ages ago, that I use when I am out and about. No telling when I will be able to get more. People are hoarding food and other stuff. Everything, including schools is closing down.

The organization has not had their meeting yet (via the internet), so I guess we will know more once they have talked it over. :)

I got the neckband finished on the shirt today, and one side seam.... just the other side seam, sleeve cuffs and hem to do (maybe tomorrow) then it's finished :D

nods thankfully it's not a place he can pull the feathers from, so he can't yank them out and make it even worse. But Mum's not impressed that the breeder didn't mention the feather problem when he sold Sparky to us. hehe if I tell her that, she might want a wolf cat of her own (she's just looking after this one for RP-Paddy) :P

I emailed the local budgie society (they recommended three breeders, including that chap) to ask, and they said they'd get back to me on the feather problem.... that was three years ago and I never did hear back :K

Thankfully an online friend who happens to be a vet, was able to do some research and discovered what it's likely to be, so we didn't have to stress him out by taking him to the nearest bird vet here ;)

I managed to get the t-shirt finished, and also stitched on the neckband on a top I bought 4 years ago (I bought it from mens' wear and wanted to refashion it into a more suitably shaped top for me.... I abandoned it a couple of years ago when I couldn't get the neckband to work right). The refashioned top isn't brilliant, but it's wearable, and after 4 years of it sitting in my UFO bag, I think that's good enough ;)

Hopefully the cleaning won't be too terrible today ;)

Surgery is done. Cast is on and im home. Holy crap it was so freaking painful. I dont cry easily with pain but i did today. The numbing shot hurt and i could feel it so they had to wait. Trying to walk was difficult and some painful. But it should improve my walking for a lietime so theres that.

I was stuck for ideas laughs but realised I hadn't used this background before, so I just went with layers over it until it looked totally different :P
