i didnt remind many lol i was nervous. I am. I do feel wiped.
You did a great job
That sounds like a plan to me. :D Maybe some nice denim fabric or something. :D
Oh, I didnt realise you had surgery scheduled. o-o I am glad it will improve your walking in the long run. Hope you will have a speedy recovery hun. Make sure to take it easy. :hugs:

I am so glad you are home safe and sound. You poor thing, that sounds incredibly painful! :( So this was the ligament lengthening surgery? What was it like?

I really really extremely want:I think I forgot to say to most. I was getting nervous. Thank you. Wont be a problem. I feel incredibly wiped out
Yes. It was fast thankfully. Walking at start was very hard. Its calmed down pain wise for walking but I'm feeling pain again now. I have a blue cast one.he positioned my foot to make everything knit back together in the proper way
Surgery will def. do that to you. :hugs: It will get better tho. :)
Sounds like a plan to me. :D I plan on heading out for a walk around the neighbourhood soon. :)

Oh wow that does seem really intense. I also love how your HA is corresponding to what you are going though! -hugs- I hope you are able to convalesce without any further troubles.
Btw - did I miss this information: did the results of the testing ever confirm if you had diabetes or not?

I really really extremely want:how long do you have to keep the cast for? I was wiped out enough after having a wisdom tooth extraction, so I can only imagine how zonked you're feeling!
Are Maya & co being entertaining without wiping you out even more? ;)
oooo now that could definitely work with the denim idea! :D
Been a very tough night. I was throwing up so violently for 3 hours that my throat it raw and blood vessels around my eyes have burst. Threw up all my meds too. Needless to say i was in a lot of pain and thankful it finally stopped. Its the ibprophin too strong for me. Happened last time too. Called this morning and have been switched to tylenol.
yeah i know.
read above for my fun night. It was very intense. Hehe thanks no leg casts so had to do arm. No you didnt miss. My apt was for this Thursday but i have canceled due to the virus and will reschedule soon. But im pretty sure i do. My sugar tests seems to support it.
6 weeks :/ its not easy to walk in either let me tell you. Ugh. That doesn't sound fun either.
Not last night. Wound up letting maya stay out of my room. But she and lucy has been playing on and off all morning apparently.
I bet - when I was at junior school, a friend had to have an operation on her leg just before the Christmas holidays.... she was on crutches for ages while she had the cast on, but because she was a kid, they gave her a green cast for Christmas (then when it had to be redone, the next one was red :P). Can you at least sit comfortably, or does it stop you bending your knee too much as well?
Aww at her not being overly helpful last night, but that's great that her and Lucy have been getting on so well this morning :D

my cast is blue. Lol the nurse did have a pink one at first and i was like er... no. Lol. Oh im glad i dont have crutches! Its a knee cast so i can bend thankfully. But its not really comfortable. I keep trying to find better positions and reverting to the legs out.
They seem to have moments of i hate you and then lets play lol.
Love your ha today. So pretty. What's the bg and sparkles
Poor thing. :squishes: Hope you will feel better now that you switched meds. :fingers and toes crossed:
I think the shirt would look great with denim. :D Most tops works with denim, which is one reason I like to wear jeans. :)

Doing okay here. Went for a walk, listening to audiobooks and ate my leftover lasagna. lol

was t hff ere many people out? Oh yay on audiobooks and lasagne
I thought they would've done crutches to make balancing easier, but I guess it all depends on the kind of cast it is, and how hard the house is to move around ;)
I've got some jeans I didn't get finished last year, so if I can find the bag with the waistband pieces in it, I might get them finished this month ;) I got the fabric in the sale for £6 a metre, so that pair of jeans cost me 7 pounds and 19p in total (one metre of fabric, a zip and a 19p jeans button laughs - I had the thread already, so I'm not counting that)
I figured as I'm not going outside at the moment anyway (agoraphobia decided to come and 'play' again in December) I might as well work through my UFOs and fabric bag to get some things finished up laughs

I got a walking cast with a boot. However, I've been using one of my parent's cane to help get moving. I kinda do this little shuffle walk that you see little kids using. It's not easy getting round though. The switch between carpets to tile to linoleum is not easy to walk on. But what hurt like hell last night was walking on the uneven slightly sloped driveway. Oh that was a... Hopefully in a few days it'll be easier to walk around.
that sounds like a wise idea, as I can imagine it's be really awkward to try moving around otherwise! I guess the driveway being uneven and sloping wasn't really something you'd noticed before? But hopefully things will ease up a bit this week, so you can get around a bit more comfortably squishes

I saw quite a few people out and about going for walks too. :) Today its time to grab some groceries and stuff. :)
That is a great price for a pair of jeans. :D I try to get mine on sale, but even then I pay more than that. ;)
:hugs: Hopefully those UFOs will keep you occupied in the meantime. :) I only have one UFO here, the granny square blanket. But I got a long backlog of games and things to crochet or knit if I feel the itch. ;)

yeah, if I was buying the jeans in the shops, then they'd be about £40 o.O (and would still need taking up anyway!) I figure if I can get the fabric and make jeans for less than £20 then that's a good deal laughs
Have you got much left to go with that blanket? ;)

Yeah, they can get expensive. o_O Hence why I bargain shop. :) I never pay to have them take up. I do it myself or get my mum to help. Which does the job, even tho it doesnt look perfect. lol
I have a long way to go. :) I found out that for a bunch of the squares I had crochet too tightly.. and they wont really work.. :K Oh well. lol
