He likes that Santa a tad bit too much. :P
Ohh, that is exciting! Is it close to where you live now? Fingers crossed they accept your offer. ^_^
Hopefully it will screw in place without too much trouble. :)
I usually get everything up at the end of november/start of december. And then I am totally ready to get rid of it all when new years gets here. lol
Thankfully he has not ruined it, would be a bit sad since my auntie made it. I normally keep it out of reach for him. I just didnt think of him getting into the boxes. :P

The new shade is finally up - not overly level at the moment, but it'll do for the time being laughs :D
ROFL I keep all my decoration up until the 6th of January, but sometimes I keep some lights up or a few cards after then, just so it doesn't all look bare without it ;) Thanks for the card :D Is that Pusur all dressed up on the front? :D
hehe I guess Pusur just wanted to get a head start on getting everything looking Christmassy :D

That sounds like me then, I like to keep the cards up for a bit longer too. Its nice to look at them. ^_^
You are very welcome! :D I didnt except it to get there quite that fast, so yay! :D That is indeed Pusur, not too pleased that I put him in a Santa costume. 👼
HIs idea of helping seems to be leaving fur everything and stealing things.. I will pass. 👼

especially those handmade ones or ones with a nice message on the inside ;) One day I'll get as far as making up the scrapbook I started of handmade cards I wanted to keep ;)
hehe I didn't think he looked all that impressed :P I think Sparky's pleased he can't be told to dress up for photos 😇 But does Pusur still try taking all the decorations off the tree, or is he happy for them to stay on there now?

:nods: I always save those. :D I have plans on making a scrapbooking album for them as wel.. but havent scrapbooked in ages.. Not had the energy and inspiration sadly.. It takes a lot of time and effort to get all my stuff out of storage too and tidy up afters. :P
Its funny to dress them up, but yeah,, they tend to get annoyed. lol Lucky Sparky, I bet there arent too many bird costumes to buy. ;)
Where I live now I dont have room for a christmas tree in my livingroom, so I dont have the problem anymore. :)

I don't think I would have the patience to get everything out from storage just to be able to craft 😊 it was bad enough when I did painting by numbers a few years ago, and had to dig the stuff out from the back of the cupboard - I spent longer getting everything out and packed away afterwards than I did actually painting 😊
hehe I'e never come across an outfit for a budgie :P but I can imagine there'd be some people who would make hats for them to wear :P Sparky would be more likely to either be terrified of it, or eat it ;)
Aww that's a shame :( I got my small (only about 30cm tall) fake tree to put near my computer but I guess he'd also want to try climbing a small one like that (and that's only useful if you have a table you can put it on!)

they accepted the offer.
No. It takes about three weeks and with the holidays its gonna be tough. Closing day is the 30th of december, so probably won't move in till the 2nd. Read on for the day.
he loves his santa XD 2 hours and half away. We were accepted. Closing is the 30th of december. Today was sooo long. I went to 6 shopping stores, lot of walking. Over 5000 steps. I'm so tired. Plus I did some sewing in the early morning. zzz. Didn't get home till almost 8
Yay!! :D and that's still pretty speedy compared to how long it took a neighbour here to move (she had everything arranged about 2 or 3 months before she actually was able to move!) :D
But was the shopping trip successful or is there more shopping to do later in the week? ;)

I dont have much choice, as I dont have an extra room to use for crafting. :) Its def heavy and a lot of work. lol I have so much paper, embellishments and tools. :P
A tiny hat might work. :P I mean, I seen pictures of hamsters in costumes.. so. xD Sparkly would probably not be too pleased tho. :P
I do have a mini tree, but not sure where I would put that either. lol My flat design is a bit odd like that.. not much space for decorations. :) But I will make it christmassy with a few decorations. I can switch to red curtains if I want too that I have laying around.
Congrats on your new house! :D Excited about the move? I was wondering if it be okay to have your gift sent to old adress, but I reckon if closing is 30th of December it should be okay?
Sounds like a long day for sure. :yawns thinking about it: I am heading out to my mums to check out a new store that has opened today. And later we are going to the theatre. My niece has a small part in A christmas for Carol. She gets paid, which she thinks is pretty awesome. xD

at least you have space to store all your crafting things, even if it isn't in your flat itself ;) I think I'd just have a box on the floor on Friday, craft as much as possible over a weekend, then put it away on the Monday laughs
I guess when they designed the flat they didn't really think about Christmas all that much! The red curtains would definitely be a neat touch :d

Was it with the counsel or just buying? Oh girl I have soo soo much to do! I had to wash all my bed because of a hairball. We boxed up the china cabinet stuff and I put some books in boxes for donation. Also been doing some sewing. Tomorrow I have to do some painting and take Nigel to the vet as I've discovered he's allergic to his collar and has pulled his fur out and made himself bleed. I'm exhausted thinking about all the things I need to do for Christmas and the move.
I’m excited about the house :) Yes, it’s fine to send it here, no worries. Besides we would forward the mail if necessary but it’ll be fine :)
Lol. Read above for my day today and at least part for tomorrow.
Ooh sounds like a nice day :) I think it’s pretty awesome :D
that particular neighbour was selling her house and buying a different one - I haven't a clue how long renting with the council takes for stuff like that to go through (their website is rubbish for explaining anything important like that!) ;)
I love today's outfit, that cw top works perfectly :D
That stinks on the hairball & washing :K how will the cats (and Amelia) cope with the move do you reckon? Hopefully Nigel won't cost too uch at the vet - is there a different kind of collar that would work better for him?

yeah that can be complicated lol we know XD haha its the government
oh thanks :D I saw the black one and was like, now I can make that work XD
I adore your winter look too.
Yeah it was more extra work. No idea. I think the cats will be freaked but we'll do the best we can for them. The dog... yeah who knows. I want to get some doggy and kitty sedatives for the move so they are more relaxed.
It'll be $45 to see him so hopefully just some meds after that and the sedatives.
Oh, I have a tiny storage room inside the flat too.. where my hobby stuff it. :) Its just heavy and a pain to move everything still. lol I have to storage spaces.. one tiny one inside the flat.. and one in the next building. A bit weird.. but it works. lol
I guess not. lol My flat is quite small, so. :) Its so expensive to buy a home here, so I couldnt afford a larger apartment. But it certainly large enough for Pusur and I. :D
Moving can be very stressful, so can the holidays.. but it helps that you are excited about the new house. :D It be nice once you guys have settled in. :) I will use the old adress then, the gift will come from amazon, sent a lil something via snailmal too. :)
We had a great time at the theatre. awesome play. And my niece did superwell! :D She played young Carol, so an important role really. :) Very proud of her. :D
Spent the day with mum. Went for a walk, and at the shopping centre here where they had free food today. Rice pudding I guess you would call it in english? So yum! And I went into town to pick up a book at the library.. and a few other things I needed to do today. So I am zonkekd too. lol

the council & government seem to like making things ultra confusing ;)
Thanks :d Niamh wanted to use a couple of new items :D
I guess it maybe makes it a bit easier than they're indoor cats, so there's not the same risk of them trying to walk back to the old house? Hopefully the sedatives won't be too pricey, and will help them :d As long as the new place doesn't have too many exciting smells for Amelia to want to investigate!
😮 that's an expensive visit just to see him, but I guess that's how vets keep in business
actually, that sounds like it's quite a sensible thing with a second storage space in the other building :d
Yeah, I know what you mean on pricing - the prices here are about the same kind of level I think :K

I'm flatout. I woke at 8am with little sleep. Waited and called the vet's at 8.30. Got an appointment for Baxter to have his glands expressed and Nigel to be seen about his allergy. But that wasn't till 4. So I helped mum with the Christmas village to go out and some to be donated. I also did two boxes of my stuff in the scrapbooking room. Totally forgot about breakfast so didn't eat till we braked for lunch. After lunch, I took a short nap (about an hour) and then had to go to the vet. THat's a 40minute trip one way. it's now 4. The vet confirmed Nigel's allergic to his collar but also discovered a little tiny bit of flea debris which we had never seen. She said they clean themselves so well that you rarely will see the fleas and can come back so many times. So we had to buy all the cats flea meds--as well as a steroid shot for Nigey and antibiotic shot. that all together totalled $177. -_- But he had several infections in those sores so he needed it. Poor dear. hopefully once the fleas are dead he'll get relief and maybe the dog too.
Anyway, after all that, we got home, made dinner, watched a smidge of telly and am completely spent.
Lene-- yep stress city. ooh exicting. I'll stalk the post box :) I'm glad you had a great time <3 Sounds like a great day.
Paddy--hehe it's in their job description. hehe how much did you find? Yeah I doubt they'd try even if they did get out--which isn't overly likely. Amelia would probably need her lead on for a bit til she got used to everything outside but I think she'll calm--now she hates linoleum so that'll be interesting since the entire house is...
that sounds like one heck of a day! Eep at the cost at the vets 😮 but at least the vet spotted the flea debris and that should mean Nigel will be more comfortable once that's sorted squishes
I bought a bit more than I was intending to - darn Niamh telling me everything would suit her :P Is there a way of getting a small bit of linoleum in the house now just to try and get Amelia used to standing on it before the move? From what other friends with dogs have said, it seems to be quite a common thing for dogs to really dislike - I guess it's maybe a bit slipperier than they expect?

lol I am probably going to bed soon. Oh forgot to say did a bit of sewing too lmao. Yeah not cheap but I hope that helps my poor baby. He'll probably need year round meds for them >.> haha I bought a lot too. just too tired to make an ha we have some in our kitchen and she hates it. Walks backwards. o.0 I guess the same.
In that case, I'm definitely not surprised that you're knackered!!
:K on the year round meds - is there any kind of discount for long term requirements for that? (although I guess once you move, that also means changing vets seeing as it won't be quite so local any more?)
hehe HA making requires a surprising amount of concentration ;)
I wonder if somewhere like the Guide Dogs website (or something similar) might have some useful ideas on how to get a dog comfortable with walking on that? It sounds like quite a common thing, so I'd have thought there'd be something out there with some ideas, maybe?

The storage in my flat tho is kinda a nightmare since I have so much stuff in there... but def. very useful. :D
That is annoying. :K You guys are lucky tho to have a nice home in such a great area tho. :D
Aww, poor Nigel. <3 I am sure he will start feeling better soon with the fleas and allergies taken care off. I never used collars on my indoor cats- I never felt they needed one. Pusur is of course chipped tho, in case he gets out.
I spent the day cleaning and decorating for christmas. So I am zonked again too. lol Hope you get some time to just relax this weekend too! :hugs:
