As long as you are having fun, why not go for it. :) It took me a while to gather up the confidence to knit a sweater- seemed so complicated for me (same with socks), but it worked out alright in the end. Sometimes we surprise ourselves. :)

I can imagine light single coloured, thin fabric etc being the worst. :P Glad its not to noticable, so that you can use it. :D

Yeah, either that or any fabric where I've used a contrasting coloured thread so the stitches show up a bit too much for them to not be 80% perfect :P But even if it was a contrast thread, you probably wouldn't notice unless you looked really closely (and there's no reason for anyone to be that close!) ;)

I tried putting it into my composer programme on the computer, but it looks like there's not the right number of beats per bar (at least according to that programme).... I think it's just random notes unfortunately. I like the aquarium look today :D

that's very true, I tried on some old shop-bought jeans I'd put in the drawer of the bed a few years ago, and it was surprising how poorly they actually fitted! I gave them to Mum to try on, seeing as she prefers shop-bought jeans for some reason :P The worst shop changing rooms are ones with curtains rather than doors.... the curtains tend to smelly sweaty and disgusting!

that would be a complete and utter nightmare!! The worst changing rooms I'd ever come across was several years ago - they had a communal changing room, so it was just a big area where everyone was trying on clothes.... no separate areas or curtains or anything!

yeah, most of the shops I go into now tend to be quite good in the changing rooms as they have doors on each area ;) nods it was really odd, especially as I needed to try on a suit for work! Mum was with me, so I kind of hid behind her to try on the trousers :P
