I finished the wardobe today. So happy its done and I already put a few things away. Can't wait to work on the room now. We have to take some stuff off the carpet on our scraproom side so that we can shift the carpet down as part of it refuses to stay down and it's a tripping hazard. I'll cover the edge with a bookcase LOL. It'll be a lot of work but will be the best because the corner is getting ruined by the door opening and it's fairly new. I also put the new mat down in the laundry room and the hearth rug down. Then I put rug corners on some of the matts in the kitchen to stop them from curling. I feel productive.
Paddy-- thanks :D I felt the need for change lol. Nimah looks cute today :D Ooh that looks great ;D hope it works well for her.
hope you had a good time at his bday and yay for games!! :D
Very productive indeed. :D Still happy with the new house? :D The bday party was a success. :D Spent the day with my mum,, went for a walk and we made dinner at my place. :)
I guess someone else had the same idea and was stalking the 1mil. pet. ;) Havent paid much attention to my pets ID number myself. Pretty sure they are nothing special anyways. :)
That sounds like it will be perfect for keeping her warm and dry. :D Super nice of you to make it for her. <3 Its always nice when your hobby leads to helping out people and being able to do something nice for them. :)

yep very happy with our home :) sounds like things are going well for you? glad the bday party was good :D
That sounds like a mini nightmare with the carpet, but hopefully that'll work to use the bookcase to hold it down! You should definitely be feeling productive after all that!! :D
Thanks :D That was the previous day's outfit - once Keelhauliday started, Niamh's insisted on being a pirate although she's bugging me to restock her all the new wearables :P
nods there were lots of pets being created in the run up to 1 million - I think there were a few of us trying to get that millionth pet! ;) Yeah, this is one of the few things I've ever sewn for her (the other things were the baseball cap and face masks I made for her birthday) so I'm hoping it'll work out ok! It's a bit of a disadvantage that I have to post it to her so I can't get any accurate measurements of what length it'd need to be or anything like that.... it's mostly guesswork combined with the size piece of fabric I had!

I am glad to hear that. :D I am doing well, thanks. Not much new happening. Had to run a couple of errands today.
That makes it a bit more exciting, to see if you are lucky enough to the millionth one. ;)
Hopefully it will be a good fit. Sizing can def. be tricky, especially since you cant get the measurements. But it should work fine unless its really super big or small I would think. :)

nods I'd tried to work out when the millionth one would be created (roughly at least) and it was several days earlier in the end! ;)
That's very true - she's considerably taller than me (I'm only 5 foot tall) but I'm hoping that it'll be long enough to cover her waist and her feet!

I groaned when I saw the new water poogle. I suppose its cute enough, but one whole year of waiting for the next chance to get a chocolate poogle. lol Plus, I think the shading/colour of its face looks a bit off. Oh well. :)
With autumn coming, she will get a lot of use out of it. :D I suppose you dont want it to be too long either, or it will get in the way.

I wish they would go back to the 'old days' of releasing two colours for each pet on that pet's special day.... has the Chocolate Ball (or whatever they call it) happened already (just wondering if they might release a few choccie pets then)? I wasn't really struck with the water colour when I saw it - I prefer the aqua blob here ;)
nods with our weather, it should get a lot of use! I'll probably send it before Christmas so she has longer to be able to use it ;) And yeah she can't cope with a zip to keep it tight around her legs either, so I'm hoping she can just either tuck the width behind her legs, or she can fold it in half if it's too wide. If it's too long then hopefully she can just fold a bit over at the top ;)

Me too! But some species have very few colour options left, so I guess it makes sense? :) Chocolate ball was earlier this month, with no new pet released, so that option is gone too. lol I agree the aqua blob is cute. :D
Either way I am sure she will be able to make it work for her. :) And I bet it will be really good for her to not have to deal with soggy and heavy blankets like before. :)

that's true - maybe they need to release more colours! :P Sod's law on the Chocolate Ball being totally empty of new chocolate pets though :K
nods I know she has trouble with lifting things if they're heavy, so hopefully this blanket will be nice and lightweight in comparison to a regular fleece one ;)

not looking forward to it that's for sure.
she looks great. haven't felt mum like doing the wardrobe myself.
hope the erands went well. hall carpets arrived today but some how things wound up blowing up in my face. Long story short I got called Hitler for something I didn't do and I'm really upset.
I've certainly not been changing Niamh's outfits daily like I was doing, although maybe if I RS some new stuff it might help me get back in the HA mood ;)
Maybe you just need Morostide month to arrive so you can play with some suitably spooky looks?

Wow, I am almsost speechless. That was very uncalled for! And needless to say way unprofessional if it was the people delivering the carpet! I am sorry! :hugs:
:nods: They have been to be fair over the last couple of years or so. But I bet there are many cool ideas still for new pet colours. :) Yeah, the new staff doesnt always seem to be on top of things and things get put on hold a lot. Even the NT.
You are a lot more productive than I am.. Still havent gotten around to starting those slippers. :blushes:

I suppose it can't be easy to make a pet colour work around the customisation either - you can't have too many with wraith-like wisps that go over the edge of the normal outline, otherwise the clothing would just look weird. But yeah, I'd noticed the NT being abandoned for a week quite a few times lately.
hehe well, I still haven't made the birthday cards for Gran, and Mum needs to take them tomorrow 😊 but I found last year if I get at least one Christmas present made before the end of September, then making the rest before Christmas feels a lot more manageable! ;)

That is a fair point. :) I quite like some of the new ones they have done like toy and burlap still. :)
Guess we know what you will be working on today then? :) This is partly why I dont usually do homemade gifts,, I feel there is so much pressure getting everything done and have it look nice. :)

yeah, some of the newer colours do look pretty neat :D
hehe I don't mind too much if I'm choosing to make something - it's when Mum tells me she needs cards made (and to a really tight deadline) that I get a bit cheesed off as I really struggle to get creative enough to design a card when I know I've got less than a day to achieve it (and she usually announces she needs cards made when I'm halfway through getting other stuff done too!) :P

i like the mer-pirate xd We'll see lol
i thought so too. Still feeling down. Nope family member which is worse. Got an apology but its not changing my mood much.
Anyway, plans coming?
ooo that's a nifty use of the new background :D hehe I wasn't too sure what to change Niamh's outfit into, then I managed to RS the mermaid base so it had to be a mer-pirate :P

@ Paddy They even taken some peoples artwork for pets... like the maraquan lutari. :)
Being creative under pressure is very difficult indeed. Maybe you could have a talk to her and explain that giving you more time would be less stressful? :)
I see, its def. worse when its someone close to you. Glad they apologized, as they should. Hopefully it will be water under the bridge soon. :hugs:
Not much plans here. Gonna be the usual quiet weekend here. Gaming, housechores etc. lol Maybe dinner at at my mums if she will pick me up.

ooo I hadn't realised that - the last I heard was that they wouldn't use people's artwork (unless that was just an assumption from before) :)
I finally got her to tell me which cartoon characters Gran likes, so I was able to get the line drawing done for the card - just need to wait for the ink to dry so I can colour it in!
