For me they went downhill once they changed how they did the dates in the news - I preferred it when it referred to the next day when they posted it, rather than being posted near the end of the day and referring to that one :P But then I can never remember which day has free training for which pets without that reminder ;)

It has not been the same sadly since Jumpstart took over. I never given much thought to the dates in the news, but I can see how that can be annoying. ;) I never trained my other pets, maybe that is why.

I find it difficult to pick one favorite out of my pets. Salem, Pusur and Vivienne comes close tho. )

It's quite irritating when you go online in the morning, see "this species has free training today" on the latest news post, get to the academy and realise that the free training was the previous day! Although I only do the free training for my pets on there now - my main two battlers don't really need to be any stronger than they are ;)

Don't hand them too many treats though - they might all be crowding round you wanting more 😇

That I can totally understand! Especially with our timezones, we are often in bed by the time the news goes live! I dont see much point in trading Moe anymore either, she is maxed out on defence and strenght. You can always have more hitpoints.. but why? All I do is battle for nerks and codestones. ;)

nods it was so much better when that news was early for the next day (which admittedly confused US users, but meant they had advance warning of any events) ;) I've not battled on there in ages! 😊 I hadn't realised my other battling pet was so strong until a couple of months ago (she was my zapper for quite a while, and is my active pet so she gets any the quest stats)

That makes sense - I've got quite a few pets that are sentimental for similar reasons, even though I've not got most of their stories started yet ;)

[edit] The original chibi style dragon bag (currently on hold as I'm not so keen on the look of it, and a friend's 6 (and a half) year old said the other style bag looked better :P) (just pretend the back is sewn in place, and that there's a zip in that rectangle!)

....and the new rainbow "proper" dragon bag (still needs that extra strap unpicking :P)

I had a Union Jack fat quarter lying around that I didn't have a use for, so I thought it'd make a good pocket lining ;)

But this one has a nifty hidden pocket in the tail too - now you see it

That kinda proves you can't ever please everyone. ;) I am anxiously waiting for poogle parade now. :D Hoping and praying for chocolate poogle gooodness. lol I always say that its very much worth it to battle the jetsam ace, as its a great way to earn some easy nps. I get so many nerkmids and codestones to sell that way. :D

I might have to commison someone to write stories and do some profile coding/graphics. But then again, I dont have a whole lot of sp these days. lol

It can be a surprisingly expensive pastime to commission people to do profiles & stories! But it does make it worthwhile if you can then get a pet finished ;) Questing can be a good way of earning sP - when it was the quest-a-thon (and I actually did quests most days :P) I got quite a bit from them (and selling any items I got from quests too) :D

That's impressive to get the bulk of it built! Hopefully today the pain has eased off squishes gently Maybe it'd be wise to leave the drawers and doors for a couple of days just so you don't end up in a lot more pain by pushing yourself to get it done today?

I finally got a photo taken of the wheelchair blanket I made (I wanted to get the pics done before I stashed it in the cupboard, so I don't have to fiddle with photos before posting it to my friend for Christmas) I had just enough softshell left over from making a coat and hat a couple of years ago laughs and I thought the reflective strip would be helpful when she's out walking her dog in the dark ;) .... I just hope it's long enough, as she's considerably taller than I am :P

Glad you were able to take it easy for a bit. :) Doing okay here. Went to my nephews bday yesterday. Today its time to go for a walk. :) And my game is suppose to be in my mailbox now, Yay!

I know that some people collect pets with low ID numbers, but other than wanting to get the millionth pet (and ending up with a million and one :P) I'd never really paid much attention to the IDs before ;)

:D I'm amazed I had just the right amount left over laughs The friend I made it for, had said she was using a fleece blanket over her legs when she goes dog walking in the rain but that the fleece eventually let the water through and also got quite heavy. So I figured that some softshell (basically fleece one side and waterproof the other side) would be a good alternative :D I'm hoping the reflective strip will be just below knee height when she uses the blanket, so it'll be a good safety addition ;)
