Oh that is clever to use a laser for that. Does it hurt? That box sounds really cool! I hope it comes with a project and in colors you will like. Do you get to have any say in the colors or project type at all?
-shifty eyes- Yea pulling weeds is not fun. LOL But we can pretend it is fun so I will do it, right? ;) lol

I really really extremely want:Thankfully dad's not into superheroes, but I do have some sailboat fabric that I need to make into a shirt for Dad for Father's day ;) (thanks for the reminder!!) ooo that sounds like the perfect day of weather :D Were there lots of other people about, or are you still meant to stay indoors most of the time?
Thanks :D I couldn't resist adding the bunny to the allotment & planters :D :D Apparently he's still wearing the one I made him last year (I went with an age 5 then), so this one (age 6 :P) will probably seem a little large, but I'm hoping he'll get a nice lot of wear from it :D His Mum says he wears t-shirts the most, but he loves wearing his dinosaur shirt, so I thought another cotton shirt would be just the thing :D
I love the pastel, almost cake-like look you've got today :D :D
Yeah, some of the categories seem to refuse to show anything if there's a lot of items in there (for me, the chest layer won't show at all :K) nods They could've made it to go with the allotment backgrounds :D

Sounds like you be busy for a while with that. ;
People mostly celebrated at home this year. Usually its huge crowds gathering in the city, in schools for the parades, and otehr activities.
We are not in lock-down or anything. But are suppose to avoid crowds and keep 1meter distance when out and about, keep our hands clean etc. Gathering in small groups like we did are allowed. We kept it outdoors to be on the safe side. :) Not sure what its like in England now?

as long as I can find where I put the pattern (I was originally aiming to make it for his birthday in December :P), I should be ok laughs
That makes sense nods We're still partly locked down at the moment - some people are able to go back to work now (as long as they keep 2 metres apart), and they're now saying we can go out to sunbathe in parks (previously going out was only for exercise) and travel to places for the day (bearing in mind public toilets are still shut!) but "non-essential" shops and schools are remaining shut until June 1st at the earliest, while hairdressers and similar places are still shut until at least July 1st. Cafes and restaurants are still shut as well, although some are doing a takeaway service just to make sure they keep running ;)

I guess a good luck finding the right pattern is in order too then. xD Luck! :P
Elementary schools are open here (they are not opening universiteties etc just yet), most stores and a lot of restaurants are open now. With some restrictions and guidelines of course. Even hairdressers and the like. Its nice to be more back to normal, but it also makes you worry about more people getting the virus. No big gatherings of people, I think 20 is the max per now, so concerts, sports events etc is of course out the question. Football season will start on mid June, but only with a few people actually there to watch it. ;)

Been a really long day. Only just started relaxing. Today I had preop for my left leg and laser treatment on my right leg. I didn't sleep well and had a pounding migraine. Once home, I made a bag for knitting projects, varnished a lap desk top (I ordered one, but Home depot gave me 6. LOL) I need a get it done before Wednesday (that's when my left leg surgery is). I then cut out 4 face masks and made 2 of them. I still need another knitting bag to make, the other two masks, a tote bad, 2 lanyards and to hang a bunch of things and clean my bathroom. I hope I can get it all done before Weds when my apt is. I'm tired lol.
Valiska I needa look for that LOL
Pinkpanther-- ah I see. that is a lot less.
ambition- Nope, mostly tickles. Me too. I'll let you know. It ships tomorrow so hopefully I'll have it sooon as I'll be laid up again. Nope LOL XD is it bday for you? I think there's one in March or May? I forget.
a new bun? glad its not only me. It's frustrating as hell. maybe they did LOL
no wonder it took you so long to reply! I'm glad you managed to be so productive with a migraine because I'm sure not.

I found the pattern eventually - I'd started pinning it to the fabric last year, then realised I didn't have enough fabric so I abandoned it in the bottom of my wardrobe :P So far today I've only got as far as unpinning the pattern, ironing the fabric (and ironing the pattern pieces :P) then pinning it back on the fabric again. So I still haven't really got any further than I had done last year :K although I guess at least I've now got some contrast fabric to do the sleeves and collar ;)
I was going to ask how you feel about places like that being open again - it must feel quite surreal that it's almost "normal" but still not there yet? ;) They're on about professional football starting up again next month, but with no spectators so there'll possibly be more matches on tv seeing as the clubs need to get their money in somehow!
I splurged and bought almost every bunny has released so far laughs so I just changed the bunny and planters for a different HA yesterday :P

Sounds to me like you got quite a bit done. :D
Yup, its feels weird for sure.I suspect it will be a godo while before things are really back to normal and we dont have to worry anymore.
I have season tickets to see my team play, but I suspect this season I will be watching it all on telly instead. Not quite the same, but at least they get to play and get some income. ;)
Sounds like a long day for sure. Hope the next surgery will go just as well. :squishes: been a long day here as well. Pusur had his teeth cleaned today, and the vet found that he needs to have one more tooth removed. So we got an appointment for that. The vet said the tooth is painful- so it needs to be extracted. He said I had a big heart for taking him in as a rescue and keeping up with his expensive care. which was sweet. Pusur does have forl/tr which affects his teeth sadly.

I did get the rest of the fabric cut out, but I need to figure out the instructions as what it says in the pattern doesn't quite make sense when you try following it! ;)
Is it free-to-view for those games on the telly at least?

I reckon I should have you a bag of patience for that now. ;) At least if you need it done soon.
I do have access to the right channel, so at least I wont have to worry about that for now. :D

It was really hard, but I had to force myself to get so much done. I feel good about what I managed to get done yesterday and today. I'm now getting kinda antsy about tomorrow.
haha that's so cute :D
LOL that's great :D
lol Today wasn't much better. I made the other two face masks, made two small zipper pouch bags (one for mum and one for me. We have a monthly knit box so needed a bag for it), make the two tote bags, 2 lanyards made as well. Then I did two boxes in the scrapbook room, dealt with disinfecting some parcels, swept and mopped my bathroom, did the cat box, changed the cat's food bowl and now need to place a few orders online for delivery. I hurt and am totally wiped out!! But I did take a bubble bath
I'm getting kinda freaked about it LOL.
aww poor Pusur. Hope that goes well for him. He does have a great mummy :*
I thought you'd like it. there's tons of cute fossas on youtube, but the video "cute sleeping fossa" is actually not cute, fair warning. :)

:) I probably wouldn't go looking anyway. I'm not one to watch youtube other than tutorials.
You are always such a busy bee. lol Its great that you are able to make your own masks tho. :D At least here the disposable ones cost a small fortune these days and they arent always easy to find. Yay for bags and stuff too. xD
Thanks, :hugs: I am sure it will. Even tho I know it will suck for him. Having to give him meds after and whatnot. But it will be good for him in the end. :)

I need to get it made by Father's Day (June 21st), but I also need to get something made for Mum's birthday (June 20th) so I can't waste too much time trying to figure out the instructions laughs I might just start making it, then see if I can fudge it together, and this time remember to make a note of what I did so I can remember for next time! ;) :P That's a positive then :D
:P I hope it all goes smoothly today! squishes
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!! Yes that is why I have the HA! :D The shirt really does look cute and I love that style. I think it is cute he wear it. I bet it's the cute fabric and the fact that it is from you. <3
WOW sounds like you have been busy and that is a lot of stuff to do. I hope your appointment and surgery goes well and that you got it all done! -hugs tightly- <3 How did it go (assuming you read this some tie post-surgery.)?
Yes I used to celebrate it privately on march 1, but my sister convinced me (short sort version) to celebrate it with her on our real bday since it hurt her feelings that I didn't want to celebrate on that day. So now I just publicly do it today but privately still have my own special thing on March 1. It is confusing, sorry. I was going through a transitional time of mental health things which is why I made my own day.

I really really extremely want:It's the perfect birthday HA :D :D
Thanks :d Hopefully it should arrive with my cousin in a day or two, so I'm looking forward to seeing the photos of him wearing the shirt :D I'm planning on being a little more organised with starting to make his Christmas present though - that's going to take a lot more time and concentration to make (I'm planning on sewing him a dragon backpack), so I can't afford to leave that until November to start! :P
I've still never actually met K (I've only ever met my cousin's wife once, and that was at a family funeral), but I did get sent a video of him unwrapping the bear I sent him when he started school (I made a top and trousers for the bear, in K's school uniform colours), which was the next best thing ;) I can imagine he finds it a bit odd though, that he's getting sent things from someone he's never met ;)

Thanks so much! I really really really love funfetti (that is an understatement). lol :P
Yes, I remember you telling me you had not met him. but i bet he hears about you, knows it is from you, and therefore it makes it special. Right? :D I have nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins I have never met as well. :-) Is he your only cousins/person you gift like that? I only ever hear about K, so I wonder if he is the only one? The dragon backpack sounds really fantastic!!!

I really really extremely want:hehe it always works well with your outfits :D
I've got three adult cousins, but K's dad is the only one I keep in touch with (although I have a feeling K's dad is the only one of the three who has a child :P)
The bag will either be this one (link) or this one (link 2), depending on what the instructions look like, how big it's meant to end up, and how big the pocket is to actually put things in the bag laughs I know the dragon bag will end up being red and green (K's choice of colours for a dragon, even though he has no idea why I was asking :P), but that mostly will depend on what fabric I can get ;)
