Ooooo, Anthony Bourdain...drool :P thank you <3 and me too! it was a lot. even though our home was spared, seeing so many others lose theirs, and the surrounding landscape and wildlife, and being evacuated not knowing if our hometown was going to make it, then coming back to ash and worse air quality than bejiing....two of my neighbors with compromised immune systems made it through the fire only to pass on from lung infections a month or two after (which just seemed so damned unfair). Definitely one of those before& after life events. Yup, in Southern California. It's gorgeous. And hot. and I have no idea what any of us is going to do when our lake dries up (currently at 33% capacity, hence me recycling my shower water, and dish water, and just about everything I'm able to). I am bound and determined to keep the plants alive this year! glomps on to in a squishy bear hug I have missed you :) Haven't seen Lucifer either, will hafta add that to the list! I've been obsessing over Westworld, and forcing myself to stick with Handmaid's Tale (feeling a bit PTSD ish after each episode) edit- hugs yeah I've killed succulents before, too. I've got this little one I picked up at the dollar store (just too cute and pretty, couldn't resist). I figure if I mist it every other day that should be about right? We'll see lol!!! thanks! :) yeah, idk. I might try dish soap and vinegar diluted? and yes, 'bland' is nice! <3 earthquakes/fires/floods, not so much.

I cannot imagine how awful it must be. I watched Handmaids Tale, its tough going, but worth it. Ive not watched the new season of Westworld yet, but its supposed to be good. it depends how big the vine is, if you think its a big animal, then try netting over it, but then birds might get caught and then cats, its a jungle out there!

Lucifer changes direction but I am not in it for the plot or story line. I am in it for the gorgeous man...and his accent.

I tend to watch to much tv probably but it keeps me out of trouble. LOL

I think I have to wrap it up for tonight. I have to be at the hospital early tomorrow for my test. I'll be home around 3 or 4 pm Subeta time tomorrow. Have all the fun!

yes the second season of Westworld so far if pretty mind-bending, and addressed some plot things that were bugging me from the first season. I think an amazing amount of work goes into the show, even down to the songs that are playing on the player piano. I agree that Handmaid's Tale is tough but important. yeah, men with accents.... and ditto! but I tend toward fantastical shows. my favs include The Magicians, and Black Sails. good night, and rest well. sending healing vibes <3

ack! No air? HORROR! Heh that happen to us last summer. It Was Horrible!! Thank goodness we still had a couple room AC. Portable ones that just sits in your room. It really saved us till the part came in and the repairman could fix it. Thank goodness you have it working now.
