lol , we were both watching Iron Chef.

since i've "gotten old' i like to cook. but I usually do things i can put in the freezer. and usually only once or twice a week. lol

I've heard of Westworld, and seen commercials for it. But I've never watched it. and Yah on the Tarot. lol. SO MUCH TO REMEMBER. it's like with my horoscopes. omg. i mean, i bought "real school books" for that, and it still was difficult, where i would still have to have my books around me.

but both of them, seems to me, is mostly "contemplation" you look at the symbols, and think of the question and how they relate. it was an excellent way to 'zen' for me. (meditate)

but the man got more dirt for me! now i just need a few more pots. to finish planting what he got me, and hopefully to replant some of my houseplants. (to hot and to much sun on porch, for them to be out there)

he also has to move the propane tanks (from this winter, when the electric went out. at least we had the gas fireplace to give us some heat) any way. he had it hooked up, so that the hoses went throught the window, and the tanks were outside.

I'm going to ask him to move the fireplace to the side window. (it's to big for him to move out, and then we need it again next winter, if the electric goes out. and OMG does it go out A Lot!)

/plus i'm hoping to get a sofa sometime this summer, and i need a place for it/ heh.

and yah. divination isn't really reliable. i use them (crystals) mainly for my own strength, balance, and meditation.

lol i admit, that i used to get the stones in "gem form" so i can wear them :D lol

but when i lived in TX, i used to go to the gem shows all the time, and i'd pick up crystals than. :D

I'm just sorry i never got an amethyst geo. heh.

I'm glad all the plants are thriving, but it is too hot and sinus-y to do much today!!! Don't overdo and hurt yourself!!! Have you seen anymore hummingbirds? Wow thats an amazing size. Thought quartz is more typically used for crystal scrying, why did you choose obsidian?

I was taught to scry in a dark mirror, and eventually moved to dark mirrored orbs. I experimented-very unsuccessfully-with a hematite orb, and began working with a silver sheen obsidian orb that has worked well and faithfully for me all these 25 years. But my eyesight is going and I am squinting into the orb and it is disturbing my inner vision, so I got a bigger one. And I went with a rainbow bullseye because I read for so so many GLBTQI youth I wanted them to feel represented on the altar immediately.

I like obsidian for scrying for the same reason I was drawn to dark mirror work...the material, like quartz, is not opaque, you can see down into it and see its layers and colors, and once you are seeing into the stone, you are, as they say, right where you need to be.

For the record, I was initiated Gardinerian a long time ago by an old school HPS who was all about witches being the lightworkers of darkness. We worked with mainly dark tools in our training.

I havent seen any of the newer iron chef eps. Im watching old ones. LOL

Ahh...okay. I have a lot of cyrstals and rocks! And quite a few tarot decks. I've been better. My grandfather passed away this morning. I'm only on because I figured I might as well as get online since I haven't been on my computer in a few weeks and I had to get to the tower earlier to shut it off and unplug it because of a severe thunderstorm. We've had a few today. And While I had things moved, I plugged it back in and decided I might as well as get on while my seat is uncovered because I have to use my seat as storage.

Last week ain't terrible. :P Me to be gone for a week at a time is the norm now. :/
