So what did you do with the test run products? Do you donate them or something?

the skirt test runs and one of the jackets were made from cheap muslin cloth, so they'll just go for recycling, but one jacket was done in a cheap canvas, so Mum's got her eye on that one - I just need to finish off a couple of edges ;)

Ohhh, how clever!! ^^ I used to use muslin to practice embroidery on.

it's one reason I've never made trousers from stretchy fabric - I can't find any cheap stretchy fabric to make a test run from! ;) I've tried some embroidery on the cloth as well (I had some already marked out for a 'signature bear' plushie - I thought I could embroider the design on it, rather than having it able to be written on), but I've shelved that until I have more patience(!) 😊

Yes, you do need lots of patience for things like that. I'm not super into it because of that. I would rather be outside pulling weeds (which is something I quite enjoy), planting something, or any way out in the sunshine.

Just after Mum & Dad went out to get the shopping done this morning, a wasp flew into the room I use the computer in.... obviously I'm not staying in that room with a wasp buzzing around, so I figured I was meant to get on and tidy up instead - I took the drawers out of my dresser, and hoovered it out (not sure why, but the runners for the drawers seem to shed bits everywhere o.o) ;) Of course by the time they get back, the wasp has vanished... I don't think it went back out (I had the curtain over, so I'm amazed it managed to get past that to get into the room), but if it is still in here, it's gone quiet :P nods so far it holds an ironed crease quite well, but it hasn't looked all screwed up and nasty after sitting in a bag, so I'm hopefully it will look decent ;)

It's weird the things that still freak him out, as someone walking past with a large bag didn't really seem to even catch his attention, yet a flying insect was mega scary laughs But at least he's relaxed a lot since he came here - he was really jumpy for months! Thanks! :D I'm hoping to get the proper photos done outside either today or tomorrow, as we've got some really unseasonable warm sunny weather - it was 22C yesterday, and 21C today.... apparently the average maximum temperature for April is 11C :P

Thank you! I actually cheated.... Shhhh don't tell I looked up complimentary color groupings and tried to make an HA featuring the 4 or 5 colors in the grouping. I already knew the basic ones btu I wanted to look for something slightly different. I actually aimed for something totally drastic but I really love teal so I accidentally fell back into that! LOL

I tried SO hard to make an HA with different colors though. I seem to always fall into blues and berry.

laughs that's a great idea to try and get ideas for different colour combinations! :D I reckon that's more mint than teal, so I'd say that counts as a new combination of colours ;) 😇

ok, I give in - are you changing your text colour manually, or is there some kind of coding that's giving you a random text colour each time you post?! :P

You are the only (and first) person to ask me that! lol I just like color and I have been trying to figure out all the random site colors they have. I change it manually with code. :) Though I tend to use grey the most as it seems to be a fitting color for me lately.

I would use the berry color of my wig but I can't find the exact color match and the others are not quite right for my liking. ^^
